hide / hide and Lillian Gish

Is there anyone else who has noticed how often hide paid tribute to Lillian Gish? He pretty much stopped doing that after he had his hair cut short as then he changed his makeup, posing modes and even the way he walked. But before that.

(Edit: Lillian Gish died in February 1993, at the age of 99.)

I wasn't sure what to call this thread (feel free to change it) but something happened to me today and I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced the same. I was listening to hide's Honey Blade on youtube and read the comments. Most of them are gushing and saying things like it's the best song ever, so beautiful and they wish they knew what it's about.

For a microsecond I was going to write the answer but stopped myself short. I just couldn't bring myself to it.

Even though the clip is from the Psychommunity reel and leaves plenty of clues in the background as to what it might be about it may be difficult to guess, but still. Why didn't I want to write the answer? And why don't the fans bother to google these things? It's not impossible to find out.
