ok i can confirm the above that provided that you have registered to be a member of the X Japan Street Army and have purchased a ticket on 17th as well as the Red Cliff ticket, you will get to get another concert ticket on 16th for free depending on the price of the one you bought on 17th.... argggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

still I might try to see if i can get a ticket for my friend to go with me, but first i have to buy a movie ticket first >_<...

actually i cant read the attachment clearly for some strange reason but i read from a chinese forum and more or less that's the way it works i suppose ..

i must also add that i fucking hate it now the way it has become.  think it's more of less the management company want to see if they can get as much $$ as possible as it must be expensive to get X japan to do concert in HK but too bad 2 days of concerts and venue charges might still be too much even the concerts were sold out instead of giving away for free.  it's a become a joke i must say and i'm still fuming having read that email.

...to thank fans for their support,
if u're a member of xjapan.com.hk X JAPAN STREET ARMY,
and have a ticket from the 17th concert,
AND have purchased a Red Cliff ticket (its a chinese movie),
you'll stand a chance to win 1 pair of tickets for the 16th.

Cool. And I think Red Cliff could be a pretty cool movie, definatley on my must-see list.

I don't think all western people do, but I am ;-) Just opened a thread where we can talk about these kind of movies so we can stay ontopic in this one.

some local news about the concert

breifly it says
1. X Japan will come to HK tomorrow !! ( brining along a production team of more than 100 ppl !)
2. a press conference will be held
3. there will be ''firework-effect'' for celebrating the chinese lunar new year
4. a ''TV wall'' comprises 19 monitors (through which tones of hide's clips will be shown) (so the holygram is not mentioned....)
5. a 10-storey high stage
6. the production cost is over HK$0.5 billion ( ~ US$12,500,000)
7. very likely, X Japan will hold a concert at the bird's nest in mid-may

I wouldn't count on that, neither that the Bird's Nest Concert will take place in May, nor that it's the last concert of the tour.

Too many hysteric screaming fans, so you barely can hear anything of the music.

Plus Japan Expo is too small (if they'd preform there).

But having the concert during Japan Expo still produces high quantities of fangirls. Sadly, it's probably the only way to get a decent amount of people to their concert.

Way to go Yoshiki!

Can anyone please give a full translation or report on the conference (once it's over, if it isn't yet)?
