Ok, here are samples of 10 tracks from 10 differents artists.
Download one of those two files (they are the same, just one is .rar, the other .zip, choose the one you want, they are 3.7Mo big).

Un/zip/rar the file, and listen to the songs. Then you have to guess who's the band / artist who plays the song and what's the name of the song.
You get 1 point if you find the band, 1 point if you find the name of the song.
You have to send me your answers by private message. I'll edit this post to add the scores.
You can try to guess as many times as you want. I'll just tell you if you're right or not. I'll give the answers in some days depending on how many people participate and all...

All songs are copyrighted to the respectives artists / bands. It's just some SHORT samples (30s maximum) so I guess it's ok to post them here !

To cut a mp3, just use Audacity ! It's really easy to use !

Just some advices / "rules" :
- Choose 10 songs
- Don't choose too "unknown" songs (like a local band or what)
Now I dunno if you (talking to everybody here) prefer that I give the answers of the blindtest NOW, or should I wait 2-3 days so people can still play.
Maybe we could say that the next blindtest comes :
One week later if nobody found all the songs

Two days after there is a winner

Are scores allowed? Those are nearly(?) impossible to google. You'd just have to say which movie the theme is from and who composed it (THAT you can google if you don't know it).

I'm so hopeless at this! Yeah, I recognise 7 easily, but the rest? I must be deaf, or too busy watching a movie to be listening to the music.

Aww, at least you have 7, it was hard to pick a part because everyone and their grandchildren knows that song. I thought number 2 would be just as easy, though :(

I got four so far but I'm pretty sure I know at least eight of them XD. It's annoying because I know most of them SO WELL and I hate that I can't remember where I know them from half the time XD.
I'm gonna go drink some coffee, I'm sure actually being awake will help.

Hum, I believe there were recommendations on the first page, but I think a video editing program will do too, if you have one.
I made mine with Ulead VideoStudio 11.

XDD Yeah I did download that program from the first page here. I also already made a list of the songs I'm going to put in it.
The actual cutting I still have to get down to ^^;. Sorry about the wait! I have exams the week after next and also it's my birthday today and my party was earlier this week so it's been pretty busy XDD.
