I just have to make a post about this! It's been 31 years since Bow Wow formed in 1975, and it's their 30th Anniversary musically this year, since their first record in 1976. They are re-releasing and remastering 6 of their Bow Wow LP's (only 1976-1979) and 6 of their Vow Wow releases. They are also releasing their previous VHS releases on DVD for the first time.
In my eyes one of the greatest, and influential Rock'n'Roll / Hard Rock / Metal bands ever. Only thorn in my eye a little is that for me, Glorious Road (1980), is one of their best records but is not being re-released since it's the start of the 80's. But I still have a vinyl rip.. and the warm sound it has, and the silent crackling of the needle touching the vinyl is actually the best you can have.
I just want to say, that if you have no idea who Bow Wow are.. head out on your favourite application and.. oh wait.. you'll most likely find that rapper. Well.. just try and get some of their stuff, they are truly amazing. I think I can say that Bow Wow are equally at number 1 together with X Japan.
The 12 albums they are releasing will cost me about $270, but it's worth it in my eyes. Sorry to bore you with this maybe, but I just love talking about it  I really encourage anyone to try out more bands than to just stick with X Japan, and Bow Wow would be a great start. 31 years.. damn.

He aint even close to 30! The only thing that sucks about it is when you search for them on Google or something, you'd find Bow Wow Wow and the the 'other' Bow Wow. But I have my bookmarks already :P
And I'd NEVER make a post about Lil Bow Wow! :)

Yeah cool. It's a long period though:
1976 - 1981 was like Rock'n Roll / Rock era.
1981 - 1983 was changing it to Rock / Hard Rock.
1983 - 1990 was Vow Wow, very melodic Hard Rock in english.
1991 - 1994 was Wild Flag. Bit mediocre Hard Rock.
1995 - 1996 was Bow Wow with a new vocalist.
1998 - 2006 is the old Bow Wow as it was in 1976, only without a Bass player. This is Hard Rock / Metal style. Especially their last few records.
So yeah.. A bit for everybody there don't you think. Hehe.

Bow Wow/Vow Wow rocks!!! My brother has one Vow Wow LP with the song "Rock Me Now" on it. It's like the Japanese "Europe", only slighty edgier. Never heard the original stuff though. It's hard to get.

My shipment of their 6 remastered albums just arrived!
