Title: X Japan Live at Nissan stadium in August
Post by: Sander on May 04, 2010, 10:43:38 AM
From Xplosion (http://www.xplosion-online.com/index.php/en/news/solo-projects/163-hide-13th-memorial-x-japan-future-activities):

At a press conference after the [hide memorial] ceremony, YOSHIKI excused ToshI's absence due to his busy recording schedule. According to Oricon's news report, YOSHIKI announced a concert at Yokohama Nissan Stadium in the middle of August. Though, nothing definite has been decided, yet. This concert is apparently meant to be a "real revival live" (本当の復活ライブ) of X JAPAN's activities.

~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Nissan stadium, opened in 1998, has a capacity of 72,327 people (for soccer matches, the seating capacity for concerts might differ). It hosted four matches during the 2002 FIFA world cup, including the final game of Brazil vs. Germany.
Isn't that a little....HUGE? ó_o
I mean, you won't see ANYthing from the back, even if there were big screens... >_<
Oh well, let's see if they'll play there at all... in my opinion that's way to close to Lollapalooza...
I'm sure they are doing this because I'm trying to plan a trip to Japan in July.....XD
It must be revenge for me saying that even if I could go to Lollapalooza, I wouldnt really want to go....XD
Yoshiki always chooses the biggest venues! ;D
I'll cross my fingers and toes for this.
Hopefully they're not biting more than they're able to swallow, since it's also so close to Lolla.
No, I'm not being pessimist... this is what I've been waiting for. And after all, Japan-lives are the most likely to succeed!
I will!
I think this is my last chance to watch X Japan Live, considering with Yoshiki's health and other members activities. They are so busy. I won't think they will keep X Japan's activities last long. They get older and older every year. :-p
BTW, there's a rumor about Countdown live @ Kyosera Stadium @ Osaka, but I can't make sure anything.
I think a lot of you get far to worried about how long the band will stay, Pata & Heath clearly love being in the band and I havn't seen them suggest anything otherwise, Sugizo will stay there to support the band and hide for as long as the band stays alive, as we all know Toshi gave lots of "I'm back I'm finally back!! I'll sing for everyone and for X until I'm at least 60!!" speeches at his last concert. Will Yoshiki damage his neck/back even worse at the Nissan concert? I don't think so, they have a variety of songs including the new ones which feature much less harder drum work, even if it being an outdoor concert brings back a classic song like Blue Blood/Silent Jealousy, they still have songs like I.V and all the ballads, he'll be fine.
Yoshiki said in some recent interview "I think my body will only last for four years, I'm heading towards destruction (drama queen ect.)" but as for this being the last concert, or even tour, I don't think so, it'll be a while yet before the band dispands again imo.
Also, apart from Yoshiki (unless he's actually careful about what he's doing), age has no affect on how long a band lives for, just look at Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Heaven and Hell ect.
nice venue and good place for epic X live.
I agree on the fact that from far behind you wont see much, but still a huge concert apart from Tokyo Dome is something.
Let hope it takes place.
But there's only one week between Lolla and mid-August... o_O I don't ever wanna be a part of their planning staff, haha xD
And, if this is a revival of their activities, can we hope for a european tour in autumn? *_*
I think it will be a great venue for X Japan to perform at. Whilst Tokyo Dome is their spiritual home the venue itself has almost started to be a little bit cliche in regard to X Japan's reunion. Apart from Ajinomoto and Akasaka Blitz (which are both still in Tokyo), they haven't performed anywhere else.
It's a big stadium, but I don't think they will have a problem filling seats anywhere in Japan. Think of it as being a comparable experience to playing Wembley Football stadium in England, only just a little smaller.
My God, that stadium is enormous!!!
For X Japan concert I guess there will be no problem to fill it  :D
As usual, I'm not going, still having 2 university students to sponsor on my own  :D
But when they will come to Europe after Lollapalooza, after Nissan, after Osaka, after mayby Los Angeles, after I don't know whatever and whenever....I will be there for sure, TGV or driving my car being cheaper than far airplane travels is within my possibilities. Meet you then X freaks for the best X concert ever in Europe ;D
An advert for the live :)
X JAPAN
WORLD TOUR
Live in YOKOHAMA
超強行突破 七転八起~世界に向かって~
14/8(sat) 再会の夜
15/8(sun) 真夏の夜
Google translate(which is not reliable at all) says:
Vicissitudes of life break through to the world - ultra-
14 / 8 (sat) night  reunion
15 / 8 (sun) A Midsummer Night
If anyone can translate it would be greatly appreciated.
I'll try and translate it but I fear I cannot do a much better job than Google!
"With great force, breaking through/overcoming...writhing in pain, bound for the world".
Agh, sorry, sounds weird.  Anyone else want to have a go?
I understand those words because I’m Japanese, but it’s a bit difficult to say in English because there’s no exact translation for “超強行突破” and “七転八起”.
Anyway, I’ll try to explain, so please take these just for reference ;)
超強行突破 (Chou-kyoukou-toppa)
“Chou” is a word that is used to emphasize the following word, like “super“, “ultra“, “mighty” and others.
“Kyoukou-toppa” means to force one’s way through something that is basically difficult to break through or overcome.
七転八起 (Shichiten-hakki or Nanakorobi-yaoki)
Literal translation: To fall seven times, and rise again eight times.
Meaning: Never to give up and to overcome the failure and carry through with what you’re doing, even if failing again and again.
世界に向かって (Sekai ni mukatte): To/Toward the world
再会の夜 (Saikai no yoru): Night of reunion
真夏の夜 (Manatsu no yoru): Midsummer night
I can't believe my eyes, the official X Japan home page has updated its news section with information about tickets...that's the first update since January! Now all they need to do is take that badly out dated banner of the Taipei concert, (yes, it actually happened, congratulations) and replace it with something...anything current!
Sorry guys, I don't usually talk on that forum (although I read it).
Do you know who organizes the overseas ticket sale? Because I registered for a ticket lottery through Yoshiki mobile, but if there REALLY IS overseas sale, there will be some GREAT tickets to get, just in the front I expect (like it was in 2008). So I guess we should wait for that...
Post by: AsukaMiyu on July 12, 2010, 08:37:55 PM
No idea yet. Maybe JRR will handle it again, but nothing at all has been announced yet. :/
It's really problematic that they wait with the oversea sale for that long, how the hell are people supposed to book their flights and hostels?
Title: Re: X Japan Live at Nissan stadium in August
Post by: anabellik on July 13, 2010, 12:40:26 PM
I know, I understand you completely. Even though I live in Tokyo now, it's still a bit inconvenient to know nothing till two weeks before the concert (details on the international sale will be revealed on July 31st. I mean, COME ON. If it's X Japan, we should know at least three months prior to the concert, right?). Also, I REALLY hope it will be JRR, then we could worry no more, but as they don't give any hints on that, so we shouldn't keep our hopes up, I'm afraid. :(
I remember reading that you can only access WOWOW in Japan, but sometimes someone streams the live broadcasts through keyhole...something like that. But don't worry, all the concerts that have been streamed online since the reunion have been ripped and posted online for download in very good quality rips, so its almost certain that we will have copies of the concert in the week following the broadcast.
Just before the concerts I'm spending 10 days in Bali relaxing (it's a hard life) but I'm WAY more excited about the X concerts.  Yippee!
And a special thank you to the person who arranged them for me...you know who you are :)
People in Paris should try to think positive now, especially now that we know that X Japan was not the cause about the postponements. I hope the problems with their management will be solved soon.
I hope you will take many pictures and give us a great report!!!
You will meet with other X fans in Japan, that will be great! I found that great at least in Paris to meet other X fans  ;)
I wish you a great time at the X concert in Nissan stadium!!!
I think they have broadcast most of the post-reunion concerts on WOWOW and this far no one has been able to really order it overseas (or if they have, they are not telling). I guess you need a) a Japanese billing address, b) a Japanese credit card/other means of payment (check/money order/etc), c) a Japanese ISP (Internet service provider) to watch over the Internet, d) a Japanese TV-service provider to watch from TV, or e) a combination of the above.
That still hasn't stopped some people from Japan streaming it online. The picture quality isn't the best, you might be kicked out every now and then and there is a limit of how many people are able to connect, but if there is something, I'm sure the links will pop up here and there, during the concerts.
there is one way maybe to look at it from outside japan.   but i don't know if that is a legal way.
I don't think it was THAT voluntary - he wasn't really happy about it back then. Though the musical differences turned out to be a huge gap.
taiji is better blaaah blaah blaah bullshit.  Heath is not Taiji and Taiji is not Heath. They should not be compared to eachother, everybody has its good and bad.  I personal don't like this Taiji guesting.
I never said I compare Taiji to Heath. I never said Heath should leave the band. And I didn't say with any word that Taiji is better than Heath. I just replied to your question what Heath may think when Taiji is there. And indeed he is there as a GUEST musican and not as a member (though I'd support it if he will be a member again, but I don't EXPECT it) when the news are really true. Taiji can play songs Heath can't play and I'd love to hear them again (Voiceless Screaming, Desperate Angel...) And I don't think it would be a problem if both bassists are on stage (like, I can not imagine Taiji playing Rusty Nail or something)
I never said Heath should leave the band so I'd really appreciate it if people stop to conclude things from what i said which were never a point of discussion!
The only news source that everyone quotes is Sankei Sport's article about it and they express themselves very vague, talking of their personal researching and information from 'related persons'. So I won't even wonder if it turns out that no Taiji will appear at the Live at all.
I would like to see them perform Voiceless Sreaming all together: ToshI, Heath, Pata, Sugizo, Taiji, ; and whatever Taiji plays, I hope they will play all together, at least all the guitarists. And I hope that the crazy fans will stop their... eternel comparations on Heath and Taiji. There is no comparation, there are 2 very good bassplayers with their own style. X Japan for sure can manage it and it is really the only way I think to see them perform some songs like Voiceless Screaming and Desperate Angel again. But for sake I hope that those crazy fans stop their crazyness. It is just for the reactions of those crazy fans that I fear.For the rest it is beautiful they want to show they are friends, and the past is the past!!!
I don't know about anyone who does...
In my opinion it's pretty much overpriced and I'd rather get the normal oversea concert tickets, a normal affordable hotel room and just meet people at the venue/make plans on my own. xD
Title: Re: X Japan Live at Nissan stadium in August
its strange that they allocate hotel accommodations in Shinjuku this time it's still far although transportation is provided.  Still most hotels nearby Yokohama are fully booked.  I almost gave up before got mine at Yokohama station which is about 30 mins including walk to the stadium.  By the way, it's high season for travelling and hence air tickets are very expensive.  My air ticket is almost 40% more expensive than travelling during normal season.  Still i cant confirm my flight leaving on monday so have to give up the 2nd night which is a shame.
Oh i bought my ticket thru Yoshiki card holder selling online. really hope that will be a good seat *fingers crossed*
Oh by the way, 沢田泰司! STAB ME IN THE BACK! *VOICELESS SCREAMING*....Xclamation!!!!!!! cant wait!! xD
I don't know, but J-fans only talking about their seat location. I found somebody can't get good seats. Somebody can get ticket only for 1 day. Lottary tickets don't get good seats...blah...blah...
We don't know anything until the show start. Livedoor article is running under the connection with X Japan's old agency which still has problem with them. I remember Livedoor had article about Lives@Yokohama would never been happened, becoz it's just something Yoshiki brought up for changing the issue about he suing the agency. Moreover, Yoshiki has said in LA Times that Lives@Yokohama were held under disagreement of their managements.
At least, Yoshiki could sell the broadcasting rights to WOWWOW and DMM. I think he won't broke for these 2 shows. :-p
Will they play that beautiful Voiceless Screaming with Heath, Taiji, Pata, Sugizo (on violin) and ToshI?
I don't know what they will perform but surely Voiceless Screaming, Born to be free, Jade and mayby a new song? Ha, and I loved the new epic opening, so I think they will do the new epic opening too. Full concert, so there will be many songs...
I am glad I have to go to work every day...So the days will pass quickly, because I am Curious and wished it was already the 14th  ;D
My prediction is that Taiji will come out, he, Toshi and Pata (maybe with Sugizo on violin) will play Voiceless screaming and then he'll go back in.
Aaaaaaand at the end when they finish with X he'll come back out again and play with the rest of the band.
From X Japan's past concerts, I'd say this is the more likely turn of events.
Hey, I have never thought of that before! Unfinished is one of my favorite X ballads, and even just to hear them perform it again would be great...but adding Sugizo into the mix would be the way to go!
As for Taiji, I reckon, like previously mentioned, he will only perform one, or at the most two, songs. Perhaps it is because I only got into X Japan 3 years ago, but I think it is rather...weird for them to invite him to perform after he left, especially considering the length of time it has been. To this day, I can't understand how people can still have debates about whether Taiji is better than Heath etc. These are pointless conversations considering Heath was hired to play in 1993, and remained there for the next four years, and also during this reunion. To me, Taiji left, and that's that.
I just feel rather awkward about Taiji's performance, and wonder how Heath feels about the whole thing...if I were him, I would be super pissed! XP
With Heath threatening to leave last year, and Yoshiki repeatedly saying that the whole band doesn't want to attack America...maybe there's more to this.
Speaking of which, X officially confirmed him today.
Guess he's not in his twenties anymore, and a little bit booze here and there, voila. ;)
He has since the late 90's. But I guess frequent injuries and illnesses, drug addictions, homelessness and stress can do that to a man.
Let's face it....you just don't like him...XD It doesn't matter what anyone says, you'll still find him ugly...XD
But well, it's a matter of taste. If you don't like him, so be it.
Though it's a pity that you dislike him so much that you don't even wanna go to the concert. ^^;;;;;
I truly don't like Taiji. I never did. I grew up with x japan. My mother took me and my brother to the last live.
 ?I was raised in rich family, my grand father died of alcoholic suicide. I won't waste my time looking at a weak man. drugs, alcohol are for weak people and once a weak person always a weak person. ?I won't spend time seeing that man preform.
Well, I really can't say what I want to say right now....because half the forum might jump on my throat but well.....maybe someone else will say it.
However, I feel sorry that even when you had the chance to attend this live you are no going to go.
OK, I understand why you don't like him.....but I doubt he'll be on stage for the entire live. Maybe you could go and simply go to the bathroom while he's on stage....? XD
Anyway, your choice.....I know that if I had the chance to go...I wouldn't miss it even if you were to bring my worse enemy on stage...or even if you told me that they'll be pouring watermelon juice to the audience for the entire concert's duration (and I really.really.really.hate watermelons.)
But well, anyway....your ticket, your choice.
I'm not very fond of the Taiji reappearance either. It's actually unnecessary and makes me kind of worried about the internals of the band at the moment. Taiji looks like shiat and I'm sorry to all those who like him but I don't think he's right for the band anymore...I know this is SUPPOSED to be just a "woot, oldtimes sake, yeaa" type thing but I'm convinced there is more to it. I'm going to be fucking pissed if Heath leaves the band/if this pushes him in that direction.
I wouldn't read to much into it. A few years ago Izzy Stradlin appeared during some Guns N' Roses concerts and played with the new bandmembers and that was all that happened. No one was replaced or kicked out of the band because of him. Of course I don't know what's going on in X Japan, but Taiji on stage for a few songs may be just that.
You said you don't like Taiji because he had/(has?) substance abuse problems.
As much respect as I have for hide's influence on both music and fashion, hide was a known alcoholic who drunk himself into his death.
I think, if Taiji can be trusted to be reliable this would be good for the band.
Heath has never written a song for the band, other than collaborating on wriggle, and is generally unremarkable in the context of X Japan. Maybe he can go work with Issay again, that shit had potential.
that is way i listen and like hide. I know he was alcoholic i heard rumours about his meth addiction.
I don't like or agree with what he has done. He left family and friends behind with not knowing 100% sure if it was suicide or accident.
OK. Just a quick note on Taiji's physical appearance: He had a stroke relatively recently and he also has epilepsy (it was confirmed by both him and his management).
He actually is a really nice person.
How does HEATH feel about this? Well, the Japanese music scene is not that big. They all know each other well. HEATH is friends with Pata and DIE. Pata and DIE are friends and band mates in Ra:IN. Taiji and Pata are really good friends. ToshI and Taiji are also really good friends and they kept in touch while ToshI wasn't on speaking terms with Yoshiki. (all of this is confirmed in DIE's and Taiji's blogs etc.) I think I made my point XD . So anna_lepard don't worry; it's just old friends jamming together one more time for old times sake.
I will not be able to make it. I am in Canada so it makes things a bit complicated. This also goes for the meetings. I actually joined because I was told that it was impossible for a non-Japanese (who also dose not live in Japan) to do so. Well, it wasn’t impossible but it wasn't easy either. I think I might have been the first one to even try.
They know I'm not from Japan! You see they couldn't come up with a legit excuse not to accept me. They don't actually have a "gaijin not allowed" policy. They accepted me as their first overseas member. Was a bit of a fight. They first said NO in a very Japanese way and I just pretended that I didn't get it ;) So now I am an official overseas member. I am also a happy owner of HEATH's welcome CD with personal message and all. It was sent to me to my very Canadian home address :)
About Heath and Taiji:
I have been reading all this post here ...
I don't think that you must be afraid for Heath leaving X.
Heath and Taiji are in my opinion both very good bass players, they have both their own unic style, and there is no need to compare them. You can not compare them.
I am very happy with Taiji's guest appearing in the band!
I think it is the only way to see them perform Voiceless screaming again, my and other people's great wish since longtime. And as I said already in previous post, I hope they will perform it together to show us they are friends and fine together. With Heath on bass, Taiji on guitar and backing vocal, Pata on guitar, Sugizo on violin, ToshI on vocal (and why not Yoshiki on trumpet, since he said he can play the trumpet  ;D
No need to fear Taiji! NO need to bash him eather. That man passed to many things in his life and he is a good man. They are all good men and very very special and good musicians!!!
Enjoy it please, the great musicians all together in friendshap and wanted to please their fans!!!
It will be amazing shows, and if I only had the money for it, I was already in Yokohama to see these concerts!!!
Instead of that, it will be again the hunting and switching for all news like last weekend for Lollapalooza concert. It was well exciting that too, I'l enjoy it with all of you not being in Japan  :D
By the way: can somebody translate this thing aboout the press conference? http://natalie.mu/music/news/36096
最後に再び日産スタジアムライブについて「TAIJIがゲストで出てくれるので、とても特別なショーになると思っています。それを同じベースプレイヤーでありながら受け入れてくれたHEATHの寛大さにも感謝しています」とYOSHIKIが語り、ToshIも「本当の意味でのスタートになるので、全力で楽しみたいです」と宣言。18年ぶりの共演は大きな盛り上がりを呼びそうだ。
(last paragraph in the article Ann mentioned. My Japanese is extremely poor sorry! :-[)
If I understand this correctly it is stated here that Taiji is thankful for  HEATH's generosity that allowed this to happen
It's probably only for a few old songs, and why wouldn't Heath be okay? There's no way Taiji can actually take his job, and X has been very clear that this is a guest, not a rehiring. I love Taiji and both (perhaps Heath a little more... Palma, it would be lovely to help one Heath international fan from another how to get into their group *nudge nudge* ... I've been trying to figure it out for a very long time... *grumble* Then again, you don't has to.)
But, I see this as a way of making amends, and also helping out a friend that's in need. This may just be the boost that Taiji needs to get back into the scene. So, no one's trying to take anyone's job.
I can't even imagine not going or selling my ticket if Taiji played-- it's an experience with X that'll always stay with you. He'll probably play the songs that he created when in the band and do a solo before jumping off the stage and drinking a beer while watching the guys keep playing.
I don't see this as an old bassist re-joining the band for two shows, I see at as an old songwriter, who's compositions have not been played per his agreement with Yoshiki when he was fired, playing with the band for a few shows.
Let's face it, some of his songs are fan favourites. Heath's the bassist, there's no competition - but Taiji was a creative force in X, and was very much involved in an era of the band's history which has been forgotten for too long now.
How about hide? Since X reunited they've hardly touched his compositions. Scars was a staple in their live set and they only played it at the Hide Memorial Summit. It's about time someone other than Yoshiki had their songs worked into a set, as much as Yoshiki is the boss and X Japan is all about him - he's not taken the band to where it is now alone, and the fans know it and would like to hear other songs which he hasn't had a hand in, as believe it or not, they're actually pretty damned good.
yeah, thats also my question, the capacity is 72.327, i dont thinks its a big problem for them to fill it. they can easily fill 55000 people in tokyo dome.  and also , the show is tomorrow, wondering about the stage design?
Neither show is sold out, but both are fairly well subscribed. My Japanese friend is telling me that the word around some X fans in Japan is that the bands management are quite uneasy about the slow (for X Japan at least) ticket sales, and there is word that bringing back Taiji was an executive decision made by Yoshiki and the management in an attempt to generate enthusiasm and greater ticket sales.
But for me, the fact that it's an open-air concert and there is also bad weather forecast may have something to do with the slower-than-usual ticket sales.
Heath has never written a song for the band, other than collaborating on wriggle, and is generally unremarkable in the context of X Japan. Maybe he can go work with Issay again, that shit had potential.
I disagree that he's unremarkable; he looks the part, he plays well, and he has a great rapport with the others. He's substantially different than Taiji, but both have their merits. I am, however, 100% with you that Heath should work with Issay again. Completely.
You're creating a support forum for Heath? Isn't that a bit ott since Yoshiki said himself Heath was completely okay with it, and Taiji's only a guest.
Here's how the conversation went,
Taiji: Hi Heath, say I'd love to appear only a guest for a couple of hours with you guys, just for old times sake, that okay?
Heath: yeah go ahead.
Or have I gotten completely the wrong end of the stick here?
And drivedrivebaby, I'm assuming "2 days to the show" is a typo right? Considering the concert is tomorrow.
Yes, you're getting the wrong end of the stick XDDD  Very much so.
I have absolutely no qualms about Taiji playing for a few songs, none whatsoever. In fact, I'm pretty happy about it, to tell the truth. I've said this in previous posts (but you'll have to just take my word for it unless you want to go trailing through all my posts to find it lol). Never had anything against Taiji and never will.
Support forum? Hardly. If you want to know what Palma's got planned, PM her I guess lol. No idea if any of it is even viable and will come to fruition but hey, nothing ventured nothing gained.
And no it's not a typo. I was having a momentary brain lapse and thought today was Thursday instead of Friday... Sorry, I'm a blonde. What can you do eh!
I forgot to give the translation from the press conference in Nissan Stadium that Keiko Hamaguchi translated:
http://natalie.mu/music/news/36096
 YOSHIKI and ToshI had a press conference on August 12th at Nissan stadium which is the venue of their next concert. At the press conference, TAIJI also appeared. When ToshI was asked about enthusiasm for this concert, ToshI said, "I think it will be the kind of the concert for starting the World Tour. The greatest stage is prepared for departure to the world from Japan".
TAIJI, who will be on the stage of X JAPAN after an interval of 18 years ,said, "Under the name of deceased HIDE,It is honor which is more than I deserve that I would perform with this two guys.I'll do my best as much as possible. And I hope to continue it.
YOSHIKI, who will welcome the former sworn friend ,said "I've never thought that we would be on the same stage . I felt that something good happen,if you continue music.I remember when we debuted.
ToshI ,who met TAIJI before YOSHIKI would meet,said "It passed 18 years .but he's like a Childhood friend. We talked a lot of old story. I heard his body was ruined ,but he looked fine and has very positive thinking. So I told about it to YOSHIKI.
The concert will be held 2 days after,but TAIJI said "I haven't heard which song we play yet..."
YOSHIKI and ToshI said, "What?? We decided which song we will play,right? The transmission of the information for X JAPAN is too bad...(laugh). When TAIJI was belonging the band, you were so strict to that kind of thing..., You always said "Decides Clearly" like that...
About the Lollapalooza, YOSHIKI said, " That was a kind of debut game,so we tried with feeling of that we would do everything.That feeling is as same as when we debuted in Japan. I worried about that we would over the time,so I prepared a clock on the stage, But when show started, the clock wasn't there....So I paniced but took my iphone out and was confirming the time during the show.
ToshI said, "Actually he is the type of keeping the time.
About the North American Tour,
YOSHIKI said, "We'll announce the schedule on 16th in US all together".
About the concert at Nissan stadium.
YOSHIKI said, "I think it will be the special show,because TAIJI will play as a guest ana I really appriciat to HEATH ,because he accepted it as the same bassist.
5:30pm in Japan
For anyone living in the UK I think that's 8:00-8:30am.
I think the US is 6-7 hours behind us, then again the PDT time on my pc says the time is 6:00pm in the US, 8 hours behind us, so I have no idea what time it'll start in the US, I'd say 12:00 to 3:30, somewhere between those times.
We should all try searching http://www.ustream.tv/ (thanks for the link Palma) again for any live streams or any other places for live streams. There might be people somewhere streaming the WOWOW/DMM broadcast.
