Yoshikispotting: the Oscars?

Anyone know if Yoshiki will attend tonight's Academy Awards/Oscars? I know he tends to go to stuff like this so I was planning on paying extra attention to the red carpet arrivals (on TV) to see if I can spot him... but just curious if anyone knows in advance whether he will or won't be there.

The Oscars are invitation-only now. o.o But hey, he's been involved in making music for Hollywood movies lately, so maybe he'll be there. ^^ He was already at the Grammys (and hopefully X Japan will WIN a Grammy some day XD).

Yeah, if it's something he wanted to go to I don't think he'd have any trouble getting an invitation.

And I watched the red carpet but didn't see him. So if he was there, then he must have walked by either on the opposite side from where the cameras were or during one of the commercial breaks.

(Or maybe I blinked at the wrong time.) Oh well.
