Favourite interlude?

I wasn't entirely sure how to articulate this, heh.

In all of X's songs, what's your favourite instrumental solo/interlude/etc? I refer to things like Yoshiki's infamous AoL piano solo XD

For me it's the rousing guitar-led instrumental in the middle of Forever Love. The dramatic melody combined with the steady underlying piano just stirs my soul for some reason. It's so emotional and heartfelt, then softly disperses back into Toshi accomponied by piano. Epic.

This is a difficult one. Can't pick a favourite so I'll pick a few that come to my mind right now.

Forever Love - I agree with you that the whole piece with the guitar solo is really beautiful.

Silent Jealousy - The guitar solo and the part before the guitar solo. About
3:30 to 5:30 in the song.

Tears - The whole outro. Love that melody.

To pick one is impossible for me.

UNFINISHED (Vanishing Vision) - Midway through the "oh! I'm looking at you, I'll lose control of myself" part
Rose of Pain - 6 minutes in when Pata starts doing those riffs which is then followed soon by Taiji's bass solo
Say Anything - Yoshiki's passage at the end.

Yes. That piano piece at the end of Say Anything seems simple, yet so
wonderful.

I think for me it would probably be the orchestral section during Longing before "I can't face the thought of being alone..." etc comes in.

I'd say that it's probably closely followed by the guitar solo in Alive, the instrumental passage in Silent Jealousy prior to the solo or the solo from Standing Sex.

and of course, the guitar solo of 'Forever Love'...

and one more, the orchestra part at the end of 'Tears' ... the part when Yoshiki read the poem, it's just perfect

Ah, true. I also like the piano/bass solo towards the end. Sadly they usually leave the piano part out of the lives for obvious reasons ^^;

10:35-ish to 12:40 in Art of Life. I stop everything I'm doing and take all of that in. I just think it's breathtaking. The orchestra with the guitars and--- Ahh, I just love it, it leaves me shaky sometimes.  (I'm lame, I know.)

Not sure if it counts as a solo or interlude, but in Forever Love Acoustic Ver., starting at 4:37, just Toshi singing and nothing else is so beautiful.

Celebration's guitar solo just gets me all pumped up for some reason. It just makes me want to dance a little. xD
