in Berlin will take place an after show party after te concert, are there plans for something like that in Utrecht too, or does anyone know a nice place where we can go after the concert?

Never been there, but as far as I know it should be around 1000, so it's the smallest venue of this tour.

I wonder how its gonna fit. In london yoshiki pushed over a guy who was working on his drums, and almost ran over a camera man.
The guy at the drums really didnt expect yoshiki to dash to his drums while he was playing the piano XD

I do really have to thank X-Japan for coming to Utrecht for a concert, otherwise I won´t have come and would have missed a beautiful place

dag, Utrecht show is done, it was really great
Setlist
Intro
Jade
Rusty nail
Silent Jealousy
Drain
Sugizo on violin
later together with Yoshiki on piano
Intro for Kurenai
Kurenai
Toshi said Hello to us, Yoshiki was talking to us, they talk to each other
Born to be free
Drum solo
I.V.
X
encore
Endless rain
Yoshiki talking about the Europa tour and he promised to came back
Piano solo
Art of Life

The venue was very cosy, I was on the balcony and had a good overlook about everything, the audience was nice and easy going and very patient - the show started at 9.20 insteat of 7.45, during the show the where dancing, headbanging and shouting, but always in a good way, seems to be a bit different from the other shows, maybe because of the smaller venue, was more like a big, big family meeting for a long expected festivity, that was my impression from upstairs
the sound was mostly good, one or two times a little problem, but it was sorted out quick enough
Toshis voice was very good and I like to watch Yoshikis fingers dancing on the piano :D
now I´ll see, how it will be in Berlin

Quite a long wait but it was definitely worth it seeing them upclose! Now I know how Yoshiki's sweaty head feels like :P

About their playing (from my point of view):
Sugizo did play the solo of Rusty Nail but made his own version of it.
Anyone else noticed that some solo parts of Kurenai weren't played? I think they were counting on hide but he didn't feel like doing it lol
When Pata was playing the solo of X something went wrong and he stopped playing at some point.
Endless Rain was shortened and the first part of art of life wasn't played of course. For the first half of the solo of art of life they used a recording of hide and Sugizo then did play the rest.
I thought the overal tempo of the faster songs was a bit lower then how they used to play it. I also found that their sound had a bit too much treble and some reverb (the piano didn't sound very natural) but that could be just me. I'm looking forward to seeing some video's!

Overal it was a great performance though!

ow and Yoshiki likes Dutch kroketten! He also explained why they went to The Netherlands. One of his staff members was Dutch and he thought there probably should be X fans in Holland or something like that so Yoshiki was like lets check it out! He could speak some Dutch as well like "ik hou van jullie" and "jullie zijn te gek". He also talked about the Japanese earthquake.

Wow...You guys are so fast O.o *only got up 2 hours ago..nd had a long shower first*  @elanor it's pretty much always like that in Holland xDD expect for at Dir en grey xDDD also i saw you at starbucks(butwastooshytosayanything) <3 glad you enjoyed it

I surely enjoyed it... It was amazing. I was first row in front of Pata, and really enjoyed his awesome guitarplaying just as much as I did the close view of Sugizo's in London. I was really surprised they were still so... 'fresh'  because of the show in Paris. I guess they did miss some solos indeed, but even with that I didn't like it any less than London, although it was definitely different. The Japanese fans behind me ...were really ...persistent, so that was a bit of a pain, but when Yoshiki jumped the crowd they got distracted. We did have a little problem with the fence when he did so, it fell over to the stage, which was really scary. The only thing I really thought was WAY better in London was the sound, because I agree with Wick, that the sound of the piano sounded off and there was a tremble in the other instruments. And also, the instruments were REALLY loud compared to Toshi's mic...

Overall...I was REALLY amazed and got completely X'ed all over again <3

P.S I LOVED Yoshiki's MCs xDD tho, he's really ALWAYS panting xDD it's amusing... but yh... kroketten, they're nice <3

ah then it's not just me :) Yes it did sound off and Sugizo had also problems tuning his guitar. Probably because he has a whammy bar so it's hard to tune (if you tune one string it effects the others).

Found a couple of video's on youtube already.

Oh and that is only part 1 of the video. I have more.

Had a really great time last night. I could see more so that was nice ;) Though at first there were these really tall guys with hats in front of us, the hats were really cool but not during a concert! Luckely the crowd moved a bit so later we could see more :) We also got to talk to people this time, wich was nice, in Londen we were a bit 'ignored'... ^^"
