Avosbillets.com just annouced that X JAPAN concert in Paris will not take place on 22nd November 2008.
The new date of the show is not annouced yet.
There will be an official press release this afternoon. We will let you know as soon as we have more informations.

-
wtf?
this thing sucks pretty badly.
I doubt i'll trust them again
-
WHUT.
-
i feel as if someone is stealing.
-
I just don't get it... this is crazy and stupid...
I just started to believe that it is really happening and now????
-
I'm giving up on the idea of seeing them performing live. I just can't trust them after all these.
-
If it's true, then good luck selling out anything more than a pub that fits 60 people in Europe.
-
Is this a joke? If so it is really a bad one! Come on! this can't be happening!
Maybe it just won't be sold at avos.... The freaking flyers are hanging everywhere!
-
I'm sorry to say it, but after this I've decided I won't EVER go to see them live even if one day they decide to keep their word.
This is really too much.
I'll keep on waiting for their releases and all that stuff, but as for concerts in Europe , I just don't care anymore.
-
Naaah... this is a joke.
(A very sick joke, that is.)
-
I actually feel physically ill. My friend and I had just booked our tickets to Paris. Come on, I love X's music but this is grossly irresponsible!
-
I agree with Artseeker. Unless they perform next to my house, i'm not watching them anywhere else in europe
-
Now I'm really pissed.
-
I think I'm the only one who would still go to a concert, if there would be one ._.
Yeah, I am mad, but... seeing X live is all I ever wanted. So even if they postpone another 10394827940 lives, I will stil support them.
Call me an idiot if you wish XD
-
MIHO, if i had the money i would to. But i can't risk my lifesavings this way
-
Of course I would also go to one, but right now I think 'Yeah, two weeks ago I was pretty sure the concert will be postponed, then there was the message 'Hey, ticketssale will start at Nov 10, everything is being fine' after that I booked everything and now it is like 'Ah, by the way, we decided to postpone it''.
-
(post nr. 666 hurr hurr)
Yeah, I know this is confusing... but I'm wondering how X feels about this. Can't wait till the press conference.
-
Christ, they can't treat us like this
-
True, but we must hear X's side of the story. I just hope they have a reasonable explanation (and I hope they will), and a new concert date, PLUS the promise that it WILL happen this time.
-
Well, seems like they can.
Meh, I guess the one good thing is that if they ever do preform, it'll be at a nice little venue with a few hundred die-hard fans because they won't be able to do much more than that... Unless maybe if they postpone it to ~summer 2009 and all the other concerts happen without any problems.
-
they had the same promise after June. Best thing X can do now?Fire their management, at least if they want to do a world tour.
-
they had the same promise after June. Best thing X can do now?Fire their management, at least if they want to do a world tour.
If it really is the fault of the management, they should immediately do so.
-
Well i'm sure it's not Bercy's though. Since the same thing happened in June and Bercy was NOT involved it's either X's managment or someone who got involved in both concert arrangements.
-
Ahahaha. Omfg I can't believe this. It's so far from being funny but I'm laughing hysterically out of frustration.
Oh X Japan, you will NEVER see me at one of your Europe lives.
Maybe if I happen to be in Japan during one of your concerts someday, I might attend.
All I can say is: NO. You can NOT do this, whoever's fault it is. This cannot happen TWICE in one year.
-
Oh jesus.
Do they even realize that them NOT playing is costing people fucking money? Cancelling rides and hotels isnt that fucking cheap, X.
I'll be still going of they play, any (i think) real X fan would. Guess I didnt wait with booking the hotel for nothing.
-
Booking hotels usually doesn't cost that much, maybe you have to pay a small fee if you cancel, but I have usually paid for the hotel when I get there (or check out). Plane tickets however are a different thing.
-
Ok, I'm sorry for you guys but I'm loling that I didn't make any reservations whatsoever (both times). They should fire their management, though, not for postponing but for basically not giving the fans any information at all until it was too late (twice).
-
Hey guys.
I just logged in (I've been reading you for a long time, actually since this fictitious world tour was announced).
I cannot explain with words how ****ing pissed off I am right now. I booked flight for me and my girlfriend to see them live. From Spain, and you know what? Low cost companies DO NOT ACCEPT CANCELLATIONS! I mean, I will have to pay the bloody ticket no matter if I catch that plane to Paris or not. Fortunately, reservation in a hotel did not cost anything. But for God's sake, is there anybody to give us back 200€ for a trip we won't do?
I CAN'T FIGURE OUT HOW IN THE WORLD THEY CONFIRMED THE DATE IF THERE WAS THE SLIGHTES POSSIBILITY TO HAVE IT CANCELLED. I waited as much as possible to do the reservations, but come on!! It was so E-V-I-D-E-N-T that they were going to play this time, once for all, in Europe...
I am ****ed, pissed off, angry, sad and with 200€ less in my wallet. Now, THAT'S annoying.
I would "only" have to pay 50 more € if they confirm the new date in Paris before the 20th of November, because I will be able to change the dates. But of course, this won't happen, and they will wait AGES until the next announcement.
God, this is ridiculous. ****'em.
-
^ why don't you just go to paris and have a great time there, without X? There's a lot to visit over there. (may sound stupid, but I just want to help.)
-
In one day? oh c'mon. I would invest money in seeing X because they are the best rock band ever. But honestly, I have been in Paris several times. And you know, this time was an X Japan thing. Nothing else.
I'd rather go see some punk band for 5€ around here lol V_V
-
Hey, maybe they will send T.Earth to save the day! XD
-
I thinks its very shamefull.
-
I'm not pleased... okay, so that's a HUGE understatement, but if I start ranting about how severely pissed I am, I don't think I'd be able to stop. :'(
And I just read this on Ticketnet:
"CONCERT REPORTE JANVIER 2009 à Confirmer", which according to Babelfish means "CONCERT DEFERS JANUARY 2009 To confirm". I guess we'll know more after the press conference.
-
That would be a head shot, really xD
Btw where is this official announcement supposed to be released? Their website? Ticketnet? Avosbillets? Yoshiki mobile (and only those with premium access will be able to access it? meh
-
Jesus.....this is REALLY getting ridiculous. After giving us those great news and sky-high hopes they POSTPONE it?! I definitely will go to their show IF there is even one, but I will not forget this...postponed show twice in a year...man, that's too much.
-
Lets wait for the press conference. But it is really funny because nobody really believed that the concert will happen and a few days ago they said "Oi. Tickets go on sale on 10th." and now they are saying "Oi. It was just a joke. HAHAHAHAHA."
Im glad that I didnt book anything and I can understand that everyone who booked already is slightly pissed off now.
-
Guys, we survived july, we'll survive this time too.
* still waiting for the press conference * Anyone knows an hour?
-
in the mail from avosbillets it said that there will be an anouncement on the official band page...
and I guess it won't be a press conference but only something on the webpage...
I wonder what happened.. I mean one week ago they said it will happen and now it doesn't ... :(
-
Haha, now that I finally found a way to get money for it.
It seemed like it was gonna happen this time D: Finally, with the ticket sale and stuff, and the posters in Paris.
I wonder what caused this sudden (?) postponement.
-
phew.. just in time.. I was going to book my flight and hotel today
-
phew.. just in time.. I was going to book my flight and hotel today
Same here, my friend was going to book the train tomorrow ;D
-
I was really looking forward too it.
Well atleast I can drive my car again, I was going to work on my bike to save money on gas to use in Paris XD
-
You know what? Problem is all the hype they have put on the show. First, this completely absurd delay in the tickets sale (remember beginning of october?). Then, the even more absurd "priority code" (it looks like a scam all together), which made us think that there was a lot of demand for the tickets (otherwise it wouldn't have made sense putting codes in the ticket sale procedure). Apart from all this, BIG banners, advertising and even in the streets of Paris.
You who didn't book anything yet, you lucky bastards!
-
I came so close to booking stuff, thank goodness I didn't.
If X Japan ever play in Europe - it won't be at Bercy and it will be under a cloud of shame.
-
I still don't understand why they put up all the posters... >_>
And all the announcements...
I really can't believe it's actually being postponed.
-

I dont think so, Ticketnet says its delayed till Januari, and its probably going to be in Bercy after all

You've obviously never been to a Babyshambles concert. :P
I'd laugh really hard if it had ANYTHING to do with the hologram system (which I doubt, but that was my first thought for some reason).
-
I still don't understand why they put up all the posters... >_>

That's surely a blessing. It would be an exaggeration to call that shit music for starters :)

It is? January, that's sooner than I expected.
-
I think the next time I book the plane/train/whatever the day before the concert... well I had a really nice weekend in Paris in July and I luckily I didn't book anything yet... I'm sorry for all those that lost money but despite of that I'm very disappointed..
maybe they made the preregistration to see how many people are interested in tickets and realised that they would sell not enough? which is not really a big surprise when you look at the timing...
~Katrin
-
But who says that it's REALLY going to happen in january >>
Anyway I too think it is all about selling enough tickets. Perhaps they realized, as Katrin has stated, that the demand wasn't strong enough and decided to postpone the show.
-
maybe they made the preregistration to see how many people are interested in tickets and realised that they would sell not enough? which is not really a big surprise when you look at the timing...
I was thinking that last night. :(
-
So, seems that I can cancel my hotel pretty easy, but with the flight it doesn't look that good (lucky for me it wasn't THAT expensive).
Right now I'm still pissed, but you know what would really pisses me off? If I cancel now my hotel and flight and then they decide to send Toshi with T-Earth.
-

I had exactly the same with Ra:IN in July...
DAMN, I really wanted to go.
(I'd go for T.Earth tough... XDDD maybe.)
-
these fuckin bastards, i booked the plane ticket 2 hours ago.
i cant believe this fuckin shit
-
in order to pay us back, we have to see a t-earth concert, a Violet UK concert, a S.K.I.N concert and a Juno Reactor concert with Sugizo
-
A week after I book my eurostar tickets, thanks X, this is getting beyond a fucking joke.
-

Cash would be more welcome.

CONCERT REPORTE JANVIER 2009 à Confirmer
http://www.bercy.fr/billetterie/ticketnet/1056/X_Japan
Too close to 'recover' the money XD (tho I doubt January will be the month, they already have concerts in other places in that month)
-
If they postponed it for being afraid they won´t sell any tickets, then January is too soon, imo...
-
Perhaps the avosbillets priority registration was to check how much interest there was...
If it was, that's perhaps the dirtiest market research, ever.
-
I doubt it will really happen...it is still too soon, then they again find some problem and it will be postponed again. Ticketnet has confirmed it but in X's case it doesn't mean anything, it's more like "maybe we will come but not 100% sure" :/
I really would be happy if they do it in january, but after like 3 postponements I don't know if I should take them seriously now.
-
There'd better be fucking good reason for this farce.
I hope people who are going to the other gigs get treated like this.
@nemetroid, I doubt that's true, although with the way we've treated, anything's possible
-
This really is a good way to put someone off a band completely, I mean come on, the postponing in July was bad enough, but the thing that really fucking pisses me off is that the whole 'November 22nd' show went really quiet for a while, nothing had been said, the tickets hadn't gone on sale, this would have been a perfect time to say "Sorry, it's been postponed again', but no, they decide to string as along by saying 'No no don't worry it's still going ahead, look, heres details for the ticket sales, SEE, it MUST be still going on' then they go ahead and postpone again, they literally strung us along, utter bullshit.
-
Perhaps the sale-date november 10th will still be the date for the january-show.
-
yeah, i think January will also be too soon. surely it will come after all the other anounced gigs. They wouldn't have scheduled shows the way they have unless it was due to Yoshiki's health - squeezing Paris in January would be too much of a gamble. im thinking April/May 2009
-
Perhaps the sale-date november 10th will still be the date for the january-show.
You mean the sale is still official despite the fact that the show is being postponed? Well, anything is possible when it is about X...
-
Sucky news for you guys...:(
I'm feeling lucky 'cause I wasn't coming this time.
-
I believe it will be sometime between May 4 and May 22, as that's my exam period.
-
december 31 in japan
january 17 in hong kong
january 31 in thailand
if it's in jan it can only be the 3, 10 or 24
and in may and june they have concerts in china
-
The natural thing would be to have the Asia tour first, then the Europe tour during the spring, the US tour in the summer as rumoured, and then a tour in Japan in the autumn. China concerts messes that up though.
-
No comments. Total waste of time.
-
i don't know what to say
-
Tell me this is not really happening...
-
...what the!!??
-
Well this is wonderful news to wake up to.
I'm sure Yoshiki will pay people back for the plane tickets because he always says how he LOVES and TREASURES his fans.
Fuck.
-
I've just visited X official myspace... really not a nice view of the comments there.
-
Hahaha, oh God I lol'd. Lotta angry people on MySpazz. For once in my life I'm glad I'm not Yoshiki >_>
-
good one,Fri :D
i'm starting to be sorry for them >.<
-
Hahaha, oh God I lol'd. Lotta angry people on MySpazz. For once in my life I'm glad I'm not Yoshiki >_>
OMG, so cruel words~
But true ones......
Even i, who doesn't going to buy ticket and go in cocert, am is kind a sad.
What is going on, i think there is big problem.
I hope they are healthy~ And this thing will be solve.
-
Nope, I don't believe in the January thing either.
Now how did the press conference go? Was there one? >__> And no official announcement on the web site?
-
There was no press conference, well, there wasn't any announcement about a press conference, who did invent this?
-
some news on X Japan French official site...
here is translation:
Caution Concerning the management of X JAPAN and changes in world tour
X JAPAN Production Management Committee has worked with the strong intention of all members of X JAPAN, to begin world tour in Paris at any price.
However, to consolidate the success of this world tour, we made a partnership with the largest management companies in America, namely AZOFF MANAGEMENT (with Mr Irving Azoff as president) and Filament Inc., Led by the creator of the company Warner Brothers Records, Mr Phil Quartararo to coordinate everything with a comprehensive world view. We are also in late trade with the world's leading concert promoters, AEG, for details of this world tour.
After several exchanges between the parties involved to achieve the success of this world tour, it was decided that AZOFF MANAGEMENT play the role of leader with full powers of decision-making side, working for the global promotion of X JAPAN, INC. with FILAMENT.
AZOFF MANAGEMENT INC and FILAMENT. have agreed on the new strategy to push the entire schedule until next year, which includes the concert in Paris on November 22 and announced concerts on 24 and Dec. 25 at Saitama Super Arena. Therefore, the tour will begin for the concert countdown to the end of the year in 2008, although concerts in Hong Kong, Bangkok, Taiwan and Korea will take place as announced earlier.
The next spring, there will be a Japanese national tour which will be followed by a concert in Paris to replace the November concert as well as additional concerts in Scandinavia, including Sweden, etc.
For those who planned their visit to Paris and / or Saitama Super Arena, please accept our apologies for this flat sudden announcement, although the reasons behind these concerts repelled from the contractual situation involving international operation.
Please give us a little more time to finalize the new global strategic plans for X JAPAN.
-
X Japan in Sweden!!!
-
Is that your translation Sayu? Thanks a lot!
X Japan in Sweden!!!!!
-
X Japan in Sweden!!!
if i were you, i wouldnt get my hopes up, until i hold the ticket in my very own hands...
-
These are the most stupidest reasons EVER! F***ing megalomaniacs!
-
I don't care! I will be in Sweden!!
-
Sweden, eh? Not bad. Much cheaper for my part.
But.. I.. I still don't understand why they postponed it. Except for the fact that it's been late with announcements and all. I mean, why announce ticket sale, and then suddenly turn on the heels and postpone it all?
-
Once again I must curse all you people in the northern hemisphere >_>
Did anyone else think that felt insanely impersonal?
-
@nemetroid: yes,it's mine(my friend hepled me with it a little)
but i would be happier if i didn't have to translate article like this >.<
but you're welcome
-
thanks for the translation then!!
-
X JAPAN just posted a press release on their french official homepage.
AZOFF MANAGEMENT will take care of X JAPAN WORLD TOUR.
They decided to postpone every tour date of this year. The first concert of X JAPAN WORLD TOUR will be the countdown live.
In the next spring, there will be a nationwide tour in Japan followed by a world tour with a concert in Paris and Sweden, and probably some more.
Read the full press release here (in french).

-
maybe it'll happen during the spring holidays \o/
-
no problem,darkcat:)
-
SWEEEEDEEEENNNN YAY!!!!!!!!! :D
IF THIS WILL HAPPEN I REALLY HOPE IT'S BEFORE I JOIN THE ARMY (if not I hope I can have a free day).
-
This whole reunion has been totally mismanaged, I mean to date we still haven't seen an official release of Without You. Moreover several sources did confirm that after the cancellation of the July Paris Concert that the November concert was going to happen. And now its been canceled? after all sources indicated that it was going to happen? The very least they could do after all this garbage is give a free concert in Paris for the cancellations.
I dunno what other people think, but when I compare this whole thing to the Luna Sea reunion concert, it really seems like X's Management is making this whole reunion thing up as they go along. I myself won't bother going to any of the concerts now, there's just to many problems with these concerts to bother. I'll just put my money away and pray for another Luna Sea concert.
-
I'm sorry, I realize people are pissed, but I can't help but laugh! This is rich, really.
Of course, I live no where near Europe, so that's probably why it's funny. (haha) If they were doing this near me, yeah, I'd be pissed.
But, (call me crazy), even if they pull this kind of shit at any American lives they might do in the future, I just can't let the chance of seeing my favourite band live slip away from me, even if I'll be sceptical.
I do think that maaaaybe the management should really straighten everything out before they try to announce a concert and then proceed to cancel it again. Honestly, I don't think the fans care if they have to wait, as long as they aren't given false hope for a live that continues to be postponed.
-
okay, Im pissed ¬¬
I didnt book anything (thank god) but still, I was planning on going to see favorite band!
You can say whatever you want about the other bands I listen to, but when they say they'll play, they'll fucking play!
-
I have to admit that it not really calms me down to read that Azoff management is the manager of Guns'n'Roses (they are not getting anywhere, do they?)
and started to make a reunion album of new kids on the block... (noone needs that)
(according to wikipedia)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irving_Azoff
-
The next spring....................
*too pissed to say something more*
-
I have to admit that it not really calms me down to read that Azoff management is the manager of Guns'n'Roses (they are not getting anywhere, do they?)
Are you kidding ? That's exactly the opposite... AZOFF MANAGEMENT started to work with Guns N'Roses in the beginning of this year, so it's very new, and now, the album is getting released FINALLY. I tell you, Azoff is VERY good.
-
ok, then they might be good, I just read that I thought that you never hear anything about Guns'n'Roses... although I have to admit that I don't follow them closly...
well anyway we can't do anything than wait...just if the keep us better informed what they are up to I wouldn't mind the wait that much...
-
Yeah Azoff is the man and I'm sure with his help they can pull of a great tour, but of course I'm not happy with the decision to postpone the concert ;) I really hope the next date will stick and if there are more european concerts that would be great, too.
But I'm still pissed lol
-
ThanX so much for the translation, Sayu :)
I got really pissed off today, reading the comments on the X myspace... Some people have no respect. I understand their dissapointment, but I'm scared if Yoshiki will read the comments, he will be too upset to even think about another live. We should support X now, it's not easy for them either.
The only thing we can do now is wait, and hope they will keep their promises this time.
-

Somehow when your £150 out of pocket with no way to get that money back, its hard to care about a bunch of super rich mega-rockstars 'feelings' im afraid.
-
Yeah, it really does suck for the people that lost lots of money :( But what can we do about it? X can't pay it back to every person, can they?
-
I'm not saying they could, or should, but what they should have done is not mess people about in the first place, the flack that they are getting on their myspace is completely deserved, regardless of if its X's management or Yoshiki's fault. They need to own up for their mistakes, and not just by getting some suit to post a letter on a website, how about a personal apology from the band, is that too much to ask? If this had happened to a concert in Japan then they'd do that, they'd have to otherwise there'd be serious backlash, but somehow Europe seemingly doesn't matter as much, typical.
-
I agree. They really should apologise to us, I'm still confused they didn't say anything. Not on their blogs, not on their web site, not on their myspace.
Oh wel... they don't know us, and they have no clue how big the fanbase here is. Is that an explanation? No idea. I just hope the official apology will come soon.
-
It's really the least they could do to be honest.
-
I just hope the official apology will come soon.
You have it on the page before: "For those who planned their visit to Paris and / or Saitama Super Arena, please accept our apologies for this flat sudden announcement, although the reasons behind these concerts repelled from the contractual situation involving international operation."
-
I just hope the official apology will come soon.
You have it on the page before: "For those who planned their visit to Paris and / or Saitama Super Arena, please accept our apologies for this flat sudden announcement, although the reasons behind these concerts repelled from the contractual situation involving international operation."
But that comes from the management, not X, right?
-
It's the same.
-
Yeah, I think the apology is from the management and X (since the management works for them).
Anyways, like I've said I'm not going to their concert now that it's postponed. The only concert I would consider would be a concert in Finland (which is probably not going to happen).
-
i hope for some apologise from band too >.<
-
I'll still attend their concert (should it ever happen) and I will still love them. But apology is definitely in order.
-
It's the same.
As far as I'm concerned, its really not.
-
Yeah, the apology posted on the website was horribly impersonal and business-like and no doubt wasn't even written by Yoshiki.
-
Hah, I decided today that I was gonna go to the concert after all, though I definitely wouldn't have bought a flight ticket before I had a concert ticket. Damn dissapointing, but somehow I didn't feel that they were very reliable, playing only ONE concert in all of Europe. Also I don't think Yoshiki would get upset about the comments on his myspace, he would rather get nervous about playing here. "How will this affect future ticket sales? Will they be angry?" I believe it would only endanger the concert in that sense, though of course he can't let such things get to him.
Oh and by the way... Concert in SWEDEN!?! I can't stop thinking about whether it would be in Stockholm...or even in my hometown of Gothenburg :O
Many artists choose to play in Gothenburg even if it only has around ~400 - 500,000 inhabitants, cus it's in a good place to have people from all over Scandinavia to attend. It's close to both Copenhagen and Oslo, and Finns won't have a choice but to attend (as it's so much closer than Paris anyway, with direct flights from/to Helsinki). I've been blessed by the presence of many bands here, maybe even by X in the future?! I'm probably leaving for one year in Seoul in March though, so maybe I won't be able to attend a Swedish show?? ;(
I would "only" have to pay 50 more € if they confirm the new date in Paris before the 20th of November, because I will be able to change the dates. But of course, this won't happen, and they will wait AGES until the next announcement.
That really sucks.
Is it possible to change it twice? Postpone your flight until next year, and then change it again when you know the concert date? I guess you could save €100 on that if you still plan to see their next show.
-
well...i'm going to Paris anyway xD
-
s w e d e n
i'm so glad i listened to my mom and didn't book anything 8))))
but yeah, I really stopped caring there for a while.
-
Well, it happened just like I wrote previously... They even made changes in the management like I recommended.
It is scary how they make decisions based on what I've written. I mean, I strongly urged them to re-unite and tour across the world, and that's what they've tried to do. I came up with a musical, and we got REPO MAN. I came up with visual stuff/emphasis, and they did a fashion show of sorts in March. I wanted to see more "rock", and we've been informed that a new more traditionally "rocking" song has been at least composed. I said film music would be nice, and that's also been attempted.
Perhaps I'm completely crazy but some interesting coincidences. ;) The Finns are similar to the Japanese anyway, many of us... And somehow I think Yoshiki doesn't want to hurt us (just as I think he doesn't "fake it" completely). If anything, their strong emphasis on co-operation with "big names/companies" in their latest communiques indicates their desire to become more well-known world-wide (psychological interpretation).
However, it is possible that since X has never toured outside Japan, they mis-managed the thing. And there's Yoshiki's physique. So, I think there are only two options: either they genuinely tried to organize the concert up to the last moment, even if with miserable "building blocks" so to speak... Or they have some serious problems, are more interested in looking at things "purely" financially, etc.
I think it's best for them to get the logistics and Yoshiki's health in proper order before going international again. I would also like to see a lot more communication in the future and a press conference (none is coming at the moment?) with an apology. I should think it is the norm in Japan to publicly apologize something like this.

Perhaps i'll be able to go to the thai live \oXoXoXoXoXoXoXoXoXoXoXoXoXoXo/

Babak, you must invite me.
@ferret: since there're no xmas japan shows, asian concerts will be very difficult to get tickets because lot of japanese will try to go there

*whistles* *ahem*
BXtE: In the next spring, there will be a nationwide tour in Japan followed by a world tour with a concert in Paris and Sweden, and probably some more.
xjapan-france.com: Le printemps prochain, il y aura une tournée nationale japonaise qui sera suivie par un nouveau concert à Paris pour remplacer le concert de novembre ainsi que des concerts supplémentaires en Scandinavie incluant la Suède, etc.

The Other East: Here’s a summary of the rest of the stuff that was posted on the French site today.

You even quoted xjapan-france.com on MetalBanzai (though you didn't mention the Japanese tour) yourself!

So what? Thai concert is in January, the Japanese tour won't be until April. And I know from HK people and Thai who are already worried.
-
Well I still think that with the Japan Tour, there won't be that many people trying to get to the Asian shows.
-
It'd totally rock if X could fill out Ullevi, but I'm prettttty sure they wouldnt :P Globen would also be too big, wouldn't it? And what does that leave, fryshuset (which is too small!)?
:/
Anyways, X in SWEDEN is frixxing awesome and I couldn't have cared less about the location of the concert, I'd watch them in a small pub if I had no other choice ;D
There's Globen Annexet, which takes up to 3500 i think.

hi! I have been following this forum since months but didn't feel the need to post anything.
But, after the concert is postponed twice and read all the comments here, I really can't stay in silence anymore.
I agree with most of the comments, but, I won't say that
I will never want to see them. Who knows, how long they will remain a band?? If we miss
this chance, we may regret it later..... Surely, I am as upset & angry as most of you, but, I try to be rational
and don't say something bad about the band. (maybe we are allow to get angry with their management??)
I feel sorry for those who booked their flight, train, hotel and
cannot get the refund. Actually, I was planning to confirm my flight and hotel on Nov 10 and feel "lucky" that
I didn't confirm them earlier. I have been a fan of X since almost 18 years, we all love their music and I am
sure we will see them in the near future! ;)
See you all soon in Paris! ;D
-
See you all soon in Paris! ;D
Or Germany or Sweden :)
-
See you all in Bangkok, Paris and Germany (if there's one live in Germany ^^)
I know I'm crazy but I love X so much ^^'

yay...from hk here....
so with the french concert got postponed....hk will become the first stop of the world tour
yet...pathetically, ticket sales is also postponed here......and updates from management is limited...
there're ruomours saying the internal ticket sales has already started...but yea...who knows if the concert is realli happening...............
emmmmmmmmmmm
-
lol i've disappeared for such a long time.
hi everyone! =D
anyways i might be going to Taiwan's live, which is on Valentine's.
However seeing this news about postponing and all still makes me worried even though they say they won't change the date.
I imagined myself saving that lot of money, finally going to Taiwan and on the last minute they tell us the live is either canceled or postpone. D=
Oh yeah and the ticket's are not even on sale! =/
I hope there will be a proper apology from X. That apology from the management is kinda meaningless.
-
I thought about going to Thailand.... but I doubt that I will go... traveling alone is not so much fun, getting days off will be difficult and and if they also cancel, postpone or whatever I will probably too disappointed to enjoy the country... and also just to see the country I would spend a longer time there than I would be able to spent in january....

Maybe it was really a good decision of mine that I waited with posting about this a few days.
Thanks for the link Hypno, really interesting to read.
There are parts I agree with and parts I disagree with.
All in all it seems to me as if the amount of work which automatically comes along with a world tour has been highly underestimated. It's just my impression after all. Too many things obviously didn't went the way they should and considering the point that there are really many people involved (with organizing the stuff) I understand that it's not easy to manage. I think, the tourdate in November was just a wrong decision, because there was obviously not enough time left (only three and a half months between the now postponed and the one from July - that's really not enough, I guess). I also believe that Yoshiki might have done his best to let this concert happen, but it wasn't possible as it seems. It's his dream and I'd really understand, if he did the best to make it come true, but from my point of view it wasn't the right way.
I also can understand all the fans who are truely pissed because of all this! With not being inside this organization it's just normal, that no one can understand what was going wrong there. Even more due to the lack of information. And when the ticketsales have gotten anounced, they believed this is the evidence, that this show will happen - and I guess so did Yoshiki.
I understand people being pissed because of having lost a lot of money. Sure, it shouldn't be about money (and it surely isn't ONLY because of the money), but so many fans are teens and twens, students or people with low paid jobs (or even unemployed, to speak about my personal case for example). And it's hard losing money for nothing. People risk living at a minimum for seeing X, but people don't wanna live at a minimum for no result in the end. And people have not only ONE dream. Besides seeing X live, people also have other goals in life and it hurts reaching no goal at all because of an incident like this, I'd say.
But for sure this wasn't the intention of the not happening concert at all. The intention was making dreams come true on both sides - I'm sure it's that and nothing else. And sadly for now dreams are over for some people.
I'm not willing to say "don't rant, please understand" - there are moments in life when some people can't hold back frustration anymore and when they think of themseves in the first place and NOT of their idols anymore. I think it was simply too much for many people to experience this twice and in the second time even more intense than in the first (because of announced ticket sales and so on).
I myself are pissed too, but not in a high degree to be honest. My very first reaction was... well.. I laughed... not because of being desperate, but because of true amusement. I shouldn't find this amusing and with thinking more than just a second about it I know it isn't amusing at all. But I just wasn't surprised. I didn't want this all to fail, but it really didn't surprise me. (+ It was amusing, that I posted in another forum "I want standing tickets" while the show was already postponed - I didn't know about the postponement, I missed it, found it out just two minutes later and felt like a dork. :D So maybe I was also rather amused about myself, haha!)
Sorry for that long post! |D~ Mwaha...

Yoshiki just posted a message on Myspace.
It's in French though, and my French really sucks, so I'm not gonna attemt to translate it :P
Anyone?
Actually, I got some help from a friend :D
My apologies
I would like to apologize. I am really sorry.
I don't really know how I should explain my feelings towards the fans who has been looking forward to the X Japan concerts in Paris and Japan.
Even though I didn't make the decision, I take the whole responsibility.
This isn't something unimportant; no, I still take it with a heavy heart [not quite sure how to word this xD]
I really don't want to see this pain our loyal fans had to experience, you who have been supporting us all these years.
We are now working fast with new concerts, but the production company have many problems they have to solve before we can start a new tour.
It is important that we meet all the expectations for a good tour [not sure about this]. If we could be there, we would give you the best show[/spectacle 8D]
Sometimes I hate everything... I hate life... I hate myself too..
Hate me... Keep hating me.. But I will always love you.
Sometimes I wonder if I can open door with the name X Japan again, but at the same time I don't know how to lock it either.
With love,
YOSHIKI
Mes Excuses
Haissez moi…. Haissez moi encore…Mais je vous aime toujours.
Je me demande parfois si j'aurais du rouvrir cette porte qui s'appelle "X Japan". Mais en meme temps, je ne sais pas non plus comment la fermer.
Avec Amour,
YOSHIKI

Haha, got the whole thing up now xD

As I had already purchased plane tickets, I decided to go to Paris anyway.
And on November 22, the D-Day I went to Bercy. Too sad, and there was nobody should have been full of fans X.
Then, when I return to the hotel I started to listen to their songs with tears in my eyes ...
-
I was in Paris, too!
I tried to be positive and made the X sign in front of the Eiffel Tower and on the Champs Élysées ;D
-
I was in Paris and our hotel was 20m next to the hall ........ e_e What shall I say. xD;
See you there next year hopefully. ._.
-
Maya wtf mine was next to it too O_____O
-
You two were probably neighbors without realizing it.
-
OMFG, what hotel??? XD Don't tell me it was the all seasons bercy ... XDD

Me and my friends stayed in the all seasons ;)
-
Its sort of a relief that I didn't travel and prebook everything, I was planning on going to Bercy from the UK and then back after all in the space of like 24 hours, it really would have been tiring.
We'll all totally need to sort out a big meety meet when the concert does actually happen, though im interested to see what other dates there are going to happen on the european leg.
