Perhaps the avosbillets priority registration was to check how much interest there was...

If it was, that's perhaps the dirtiest market research, ever.

I doubt it will really happen...it is still too soon, then they again find some problem and it will be postponed again. Ticketnet has confirmed it but in X's case it doesn't mean anything, it's more like "maybe we will come but not 100% sure" :/
I really would be happy if they do it in january, but after like 3 postponements I don't know if I should take them seriously now.

There'd better be fucking good reason for this farce.

I hope people who are going to the other gigs get treated like this.

@nemetroid, I doubt that's true, although with the way we've treated, anything's possible

This really is a good way to put someone off a band completely, I mean come on, the postponing in July was bad enough, but the thing that really fucking pisses me off is that the whole 'November 22nd' show went really quiet for a while, nothing had been said, the tickets hadn't gone on sale, this would have been a perfect time to say "Sorry, it's been postponed again', but no, they decide to string as along by saying 'No no don't worry it's still going ahead, look, heres details for the ticket sales, SEE, it MUST be still going on' then they go ahead and postpone again, they literally strung us along, utter bullshit.

Perhaps the sale-date november 10th will still be the date for the january-show.

yeah, i think January will also be too soon. surely it will come after all the other anounced gigs. They wouldn't have scheduled shows the way they have unless it was due to Yoshiki's health - squeezing Paris in January would be too much of a gamble. im thinking April/May 2009

You mean the sale is still official despite the fact that the show is being postponed? Well, anything is possible when it is about X...

The natural thing would be to have the Asia tour first, then the Europe tour during the spring, the US tour in the summer as rumoured, and then a tour in Japan in the autumn. China concerts messes that up though.

Well this is wonderful news to wake up to.

I'm sure Yoshiki will pay people back for the plane tickets because he always says how he LOVES and TREASURES his fans.

Fuck.

Nope, I don't believe in the January thing either.

Now how did the press conference go? Was there one? >__> And no official announcement on the web site?

some news on X Japan French official site...
here is translation:
Caution Concerning the management of X JAPAN and changes in world tour

X JAPAN Production Management Committee has worked with the strong intention of all members of X JAPAN, to begin world tour in Paris at any price.
However, to consolidate the success of this world tour, we made a partnership with the largest management companies in America, namely AZOFF MANAGEMENT (with Mr Irving Azoff as president) and Filament Inc., Led by the creator of the company Warner Brothers Records, Mr Phil Quartararo to coordinate everything with a comprehensive world view. We are also in late trade with the world's leading concert promoters, AEG, for details of this world tour.

After several exchanges between the parties involved to achieve the success of this world tour, it was decided that AZOFF MANAGEMENT play the role of leader with full powers of decision-making side, working for the global promotion of X JAPAN, INC. with FILAMENT.

AZOFF MANAGEMENT INC and FILAMENT. have agreed on the new strategy to push the entire schedule until next year, which includes the concert in Paris on November 22 and announced concerts on 24 and Dec. 25 at Saitama Super Arena. Therefore, the tour will begin for the concert countdown to the end of the year in 2008, although concerts in Hong Kong, Bangkok, Taiwan and Korea will take place as announced earlier.

The next spring, there will be a Japanese national tour which will be followed by a concert in Paris to replace the November concert as well as additional concerts in Scandinavia, including Sweden, etc.

For those who planned their visit to Paris and / or Saitama Super Arena, please accept our apologies for this flat sudden announcement, although the reasons behind these concerts repelled from the contractual situation involving international operation.

Please give us a little more time to finalize the new global strategic plans for X JAPAN.

Sweden, eh? Not bad. Much cheaper for my part.

But.. I.. I still don't understand why they postponed it. Except for the fact that it's been late with announcements and all. I mean, why announce ticket sale, and then suddenly turn on the heels and postpone it all?

Once again I must curse all you people in the northern hemisphere >_>

Did anyone else think that felt insanely impersonal?
