Does Violet UK have drums? I thought it was pianoballads and some sort of techno stuff... Correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes Violet UK has drums and yes Yoshiki plays them.

As far as I know he started playing again after getting over the depression. I think he said something like that hide wouldn't want him to stop playing...

Btw he came over his depression, after successfully composing a piano concert in the honour of the 10th anniversary of the Japan's emperor's ruling. (he came to throne 10 years ago... tho I think it was in year 2000 or so, so it's about 15-16 years for now :P).

Well, he once use digital drumming loop with Mary Monalisa but then it just didn't sounds right so he changes that to raw drumming. Anyway, he is still drumming, and he's doing pretty much of this.

that would be horrible for yoshiki..hm.. n I don't think that gackt more skillful than yoshiki..gackt maybe trained but not talented like yoshiki...

so I'd rather if yoshiki keep playing his drum for rock songs and playing piano for ballad songs...

(but I guess he won't compose a song like silent jealoust anymore..coz first he must playing piano then a short break and continue for explosive drum,he won't  strong  enough for his age)

He was highly depressed over hide's death, but luckyly he got over it enough to play drums again. I mean he can't stop living his life as a musican and rocker becouse of that.

as i've said before hide's death was sth tragic but Yoshiki and the other X members remain human beings with personal lives.they cant stop living just because hide died*i cant believe i say that XD*
so Yoshiki WILL and MUST continue to play drums and so on...

i guess thats true, they cant stop living. but he said he would never play again. and then he turns his back on his word, thats like turning his back on hide. ;_; and anyways hide's death was even more sad because he died at 33. the same age as yoshiki's father so hide's death reminded yoshiki of his dad's death. sadness

Well sadness or not, you have to ask yourself- 'What would hide want Yoshiki to do?' Would hide like if Yoshiki only mourns and doesn't compose anymore, doesn't play anymore. I personally think that if that would happen- if Yoshiki would have not recovered and stayed a sad, depressed person, hide would be really sad...

when you lost a dear person.. you can say a lot of things... just like when some man lose her wife, he cans say that he won't get married again.. but after that anything can go on...

Ah, true that.
But also, what do these fans know about what hide wants, would want, or wanted in the first place? They know him not personally, so they should stfu. -.-
