wow your first post! welcome here.

It is going to be awkward to see them on stage but without hide.

However, I think having them on stage again will only make things better, especially for Yoshiki & Toshi's relationship, that's just my opinion. Furthermore, Yoshiki stated on his blog that it's still painful for him to watch vid clips of X Japan. A reunion will only make him get stronger and let the past stay in the past...

We will see what happen. Hope all goes well

So I finally finished one of the projects I have been working on

Meh, the OST for the horror movie, I suppose.

I'm really excited for the VUK album now, since he said it's gonna blow our minds away and that he actually IS satisfyed with his songs.

Haha, they went eating Japanese, they're such dorks

Tho the end became quite heartwrenching...

RIP

I had no idea the OST was ready already...but somehow I doubt it's something new, tho you never know with Yoshiki.

And he still won't say who the fourth member is (I've seen some MYV fans going crazy because they said they know he's the forth from some of his blog entries)

RIP

How have I got idea that Yoshiki has composed music for anime film? Damn I can't get in my head what was the name.. something about roses. If I remember correctly, he was supposed to make the music for the film, but I can be wrong as well, because I can't remember.

I so damn hope he gets the time he's asking for, the love he deserves and a lot of normal sane fans to support him with whatever he's doing. . .

('kay, I rule with useless comments lately, yet his blog post got me kinda sentimental.)

Forever love, forever dream.

Aim for the future, or the past will eat you up alive and think you are very yummy.

We'll see how things pans out. But once the reunion thing kicks in, I'm sure they're relationship will get somewhere. Just that we all hope it'll be sonner than later!

I will be bothered by hide's absence, but so I would be if it was Pata missing, and I already have been bothered by Taiji's absence, but still all of them feel replacable, unlike Toshi or Yoshiki.

I don't dislike hide or anything but I do think theres a certain hide excess for me to handle. Not related to anyones post, I just said it :P

I think it would be to soon anyway on May 2. Plus the fact that it would indeed turn into a memorial, and I don't see Yoshiki handling that yet as well, seeing how he expressed himself in his blog about Toshi.

To set aside V.UK and the new band to make room for an X reunion and a concert on May 2 for hide??

Right, they really don't make sense from the previous information.

Also, Hurley, when you put it that way I think everyone will miss hide, but when you check who wrote all the songs then it's pretty darn clear that Yoshiki is the band in terms of musicianship. From what I remember, hide wrote Sadistic Desire, Give Me The Pleasure (together with Taiji), Celebration, Miscast, Joker, Love Replica, Drain and Scars(?). These songs really don't represent the X sound for me.

The ones claiming there can't be a real X Japan without hide are being silly billys.

So which do? Just the ones Yoshiki wrote? To me, all of X's songs represent X, the hard and fast ones as much as the ballads and more emotional ones.
Plus, although you can read that those are hides songs, you can certainly hear that X (the song) as well has some parts that were taken from hide's songs from his Saver Tiger times (especially when played live, that intro is certainly from hide).

For those who are saying all members except Toshi and Yoshiki are replacable...so maybe they are, but the chemistry that was between the members, isn't. X (with only Toshi and Yoshiki) could surely find some completely new people, 2 guitarists who are more talented guitarists than hide and Pata and a bassist whose playing kicks so much ass like Heath's and Taiji's together, but the chemistry between the members will never be the same again. And chemistry between the band members is one of the reasons why I like X so much.

RIP

Well but chemistry does not always matter, as long as people can remain together in some form or an other. . .

Sometimes the fact of survival of bonds in any form can be more than what the nature of relationship seems to be, nobody said it will be pleasant and nobody said it is not different--

Yet X *exists* and that is about all one needs to know, I think.

Forever love, forever dream.

Aim for the future, or the past will eat you up alive and think you are very yummy.

That is kind of true. I miss a certain guitar sound in most of the songs hide wrote. Not saying they're bad though.

YAY.sm who agrees with me.yeah i will be bothered by hide's absence.and i would be bothered if Pata was absent.and I AM bothered that Heath"replaced"Taiji.even if hide was not the founder of the group and his not being part wouldnt hurt anyone,it still bothers me to think that X Japan may be created without this energetic man.but i don't have a problem as soon as the second guitarist will be as powerful*cough Taiji cough*

hahahaa I understand what you mean. I don't exactly classify them as artists, but that's a personal thing. I guess technically they are still classified as "artists"

Howcome you tend to pretend V2 never happened?

Well honestly I never really liked Komuro anyway

hahaha great comparison. I like that. Ya I can understand where you're coming from.

His tunes are usually the same.. just check out Globe's music. There are about 2 songs I like from all their albums and that's probably cuz I liked Keiko's voice.

I don't like Komuro, period. But I won't totally shoot down his skills. To me he's not making music for the sake of making music, he's just making music for the market, where the $$$$$ is....

How the heck did he get so famous anyway? I never understood..
