^Thanks for that! Disappointing that not much was revealed. I read that Yoshiki was going to announce some new project? (If that was meant to happen...I only wish that he would work on previously announced projects before doing more!!!)

Yeah, I'm a little disappointed that noone's telling what they actually showed/talked there. xD Well, the audience were Anime Fans mostly, and not X fans. So it's not really surprising that news are sloooow this time *drop*

Weelll, he did reveal some new info about Lollapalooza that I hadn't heard yet.. that X isn't performing until the 8th and they would be the next to last performance on the main stage.

The 'movie' was just a 30 minute preview of Yoshiki's activities during years after X's disbandment. Here is what the report has about the movie:

So basically even though he was there to make people aware of X-Japan, which also means, make people aware of the other members as well, he basically shows no footage of X shows at all, except his drum solo, and the rest of the 30 minute video is just about how great he is, wow. Some people might still view him as the "leader" in their eyes, but I havn't seen him that way for years now, and personally I think he's going to f'up the bands chances in the U.S/U.K and I have a feeling I know exactly how its all going to pan out.

I did read Yoshiki's answer to why he decided to show a video, but his answer is irrelevant, he was there to tell people about X, therefore a half an hour video should be about the history of X and ALL the band members, not just me me me.

Ai Ulquiorra, why thinking so negative?
It is a promotional video for people who don't know X Japan.
I don't believe that the meaning is to show 'me me me', it is promotion to excite people to be curious about X Japan and then they will search on the net for more.
That is what I think.
He loves X Japan too many, I don't believe what you are saying. It is a decision from management and members to have Yoshiki to do the promotion, and to show what they show. That's what I guess.

Ulquiorra: Even if I basically tend to agree with you about the me me me- thing, who else is the leader if not him? I do not have the feeling that the others do much about X, or even care much, except Toshi maybe. But he has no other choice regarding recent unfortunate events in his life. If it wouldn´t be him, I think no one would do anything to promote X.

From all I have read about X´s history I got the impression that his bandmates leaned back and let him do all the work, so maybe a bit me-me-me is justified ... I don´t know. Maybe he is just used to this, or maybe he really is the egomaniacal tyrant so many people like to view him as. We probably will never know.

According to YOSHIKI mobile, Yoshiki injured his elbow 2 days ago at the airport in Chicago and it will take about 3 weeks to heal.
But fortunately, it seems it's not a serious injury.
