TRANSLATION

Disaster for X Japan's fans had finally arrived. Rumours of X Japan's bass guitarist, Heath, leaving the band had been flying around for the past month and a half. 10 years after guitarist hide passed away, there is another member leaving the band as X Japan, announced yesterday (April 20 2009) that bass guitarist Heath is leaving as well - this leaves tremendous amount of disappointment and sadness in the fans.

A little more than a month ago, X Japan suddenly announced a cancellation to the lives in Korea and postponement to the Tokyo lives. What was worrying the fans was the fact that whether they would disband, again, or not. This is due to the different management companies the members are under. Because of this, the members' contracts with their management created contradiction, especially the one with Heath - he might be forced to leave the band. Band lead, Yoshiki, negotiated with the management companies numerous times but failed to come to an agreement. Heath, is forced to face the faith of leaving the band. What's even more worrying is the Tokyo lives on May 2 and 3, whether or not they will be canceled, again.

100000 tickets to the lives in Tokyo on May 2 and 3 at Tokyo Dome were all sold out. However, with this breaking news of Heath leaving the band, X Japan is missing a bass guitarist. With only 1 week of time, will they be able to find a replacement for Heath and be ready for the lives? Even more worrying is the fact that X Japan may be disbanded because of this. Yoshiki, after numerous and numerous negotiations, he had encountered a huge hit mentally. Currently, he is in NYC, attempting to find a way for Heath to remain as a group. If there isn't a way out of this, most likely, the live in HK was the last time this band performed as a complete group.

Though I doubt its just this guy on youtube who has a recording of it, I'm kind of blaming the lack of torrents on him right now, seriously this guy on youtube seems to be incredibly slow at uploading videos, or even realising that we want all the videos of all the songs of the concert, he should've realised what he was getting himself into when he uploaded the first official clip from the concert. He seems to only upload a new song after you ask him to do it because he hasn't uploaded one in a while, its a bit weird.

And if he doesn't have all the videos and this is all he has then why doesn't he just say so, doen't he realise we're all looking at his channel now for new videos?

stop freaking out...the dude can do whatever he wants. he isn't born to serve anyone. he can take them all off and put in a huge insulting video to all and no one can even talk back at him. it's his choice, my friend.

News / Article on Team Yoshiki & 童夢 Project

I tried my best to put it in English.

Yoshiki

After finishing 2 lives in HK last month, Japan rock band legend leader Yoshiki has a new liking, only this time doesn't have anything to do with music. He announced, in the press conference, that he will be teaming up with a Japan Super GT Team Takata to form a racing team, Team Yoshiki & 童夢Project. THey will be racing in the upcoming Super GT Series.

Under the economic crysis, Japanese racing industry is facing bigger than ever challenges. Big makes such as Honda and Mitsubishi are forced to quit racing because of lack of money. Yoshiki's presence in Japanese racing is regarded as a "Saviour" behaviour! The Japanese racing market showed tremendous appreciation to Yoshiki and Rock Star's investment in this field and named him the "Saviour" to Japanese Racing.

This is not the first time Yoshiki has been involved in racing. In 1995-1997, X Japan sponsored one of the racing teams in a Japanese F3000 formula race. This shows the support in racing from the X Japan members. "Team Yoshiki and 童夢Project" racing team will officially participate their first race in April 19. YOshiki says, "Since we are now involved in racing, the only outcome must be a victory!"

X JAPAN World Tour / Re: World Tour in Macau ??!!
« on: January 20, 2009, 06:03:55 AM »
My first thought was 'Were the hell is Macau' ;-) if they decide to perform there, good. The more dates the better.

Macau is right beside HK. You take a 1 hour ship ride and you're there. It's smaller than HK but recent years, this place has been uprising faster than you can imagine.

Macau is seen as the Las Vegas in Asia. There are many brand name casino-hotels newly built and in constructions. Venetian Macau is actually bigger than the one in Vegas, MGM also has a casino there.

WOW, if X performs in Venetian Macau...............lol.. a rock show in a hotel....

I was just reading an article on a HK radio's website. this article is a brief description of what's going to be talked about in their radio session.

Apparently, it mentioned about X Japan mentioned about how much they love hk and the fans. so there is a possibility to return to HK when they do a second world tour. Also, Yoshiki mentioned about there is a chance of seeing a 6th member to join X in the near future!

This means they are not ending X just yet right after this world tour. At least they are planning to last for another tour. Now, this is bothering me; who will be this 6th member??? Taiji rejoining??? Rumours said Taiji was at the 17th's concert too.

K I've just found something kind of annoying, I found another full video of Kurenai, I know for a fact that its from a different day then the last one I posted because Toshi sings with a clear voice in this one, the problem is, Pata makes the exact same mistake at the exact same point in the solo he did before, which makes me think its not a mistake at all, and they're actually playing that part of the solo like that from now on, which I don't think I like, it sounds like Pata plays completely the wrong note.

It happens at 3:39, he plays it the exact same way on both days, it sounds weird, I might be able to get used to it.

Also we're all obviously wondering what this "02. Pf & Vocal Rusty Nail" was like, well here it is

It happens 5 minutes into the clip, its basically like what they did with Blue Blood before they played the proper version of Blue Blood on the countdown live, only with Rusty Nail this time. I don't know what happened with Toshi though, something went wrong with his voice, he started his falsetto, then his voice died out, then 2 seconds later the falsetto starts up again.

exactly what i heard and noticed when i first sawt hat clip

but i just thought it was a wrong note but not gonna stress thru it...it's f-ing awesome the whole show

off topic but on the countdown gig, toshi's hair has been pushed up...to me, it's the most similar to their old days style..yoshiki's hair is also the longest ever since that first cut, i wonder if they r growing them now and remake those hair in the shows later on world tour, maybe the last show in tokyo???

that would be f awesome

seems like they will be performing Art of Life as he practiced a lot on the drum part and got the injuries he showed during the press con.  some papers mentioned there will be 15mins of drum solo.  the press con was 50mins late and the management company told during a radio show that they have so many demands that the lists could be as thick as a yellow pages.

the run down of the 2 concerts are going to be at least 30% different and he will stay an extra day on Sunday here to try Chinese cuisine.

ps: they will perform Art of Life exactly like what they did last year.  YESSSSSS I'm so thrilled
the fan have also organised to sing happy birthday to Heath on 17th during break.  that will be so sweet :)

Thanks..though I understand fluently cantonese, i read ur msg before seeing his clip about the press con. but hell!! reading that they will perform art of life just made me collapse...then u mentioned 15min drum solo...how much i wish im in HK now and not stuck in the cold in canada!...wow im so excited for the fans in hk...

is there a stream or TV recording to this?? maybe we can sneak some copies after? ;)

sigh....Taiwan concert is postponed........
i dunno it's because 16th in HK is not full or not......

i just feel bad abt this news

ya bad news. I also think it is because hk's concert on 16th isn't full. that's y they pull a trick on postponing taiwan concert and at the same time introduce this package and pretend to apologize with this package...who knows, chances are some ppl in taiwan may actually use this package to go to the 16th hk show, hence, their plan to fill 16th is working...
