Forum Games / X-Freaks Spampocalypse 2012!
« on: March 15, 2012, 06:17:09 AM »
Hey everybody, I have gotten real tired of the lack of info on the band's activity, and especially all the spam we get everyday. So I figured we can start a little game. I call it...

 "SPAMPOCALYPSE 2012"

As the end of the year draws nearer, more and more spam has oozed itself onto our humble little forum. Taking away what was once an online haven for deeper discussions of alternative music, culture, and all around, badassness heavy metal music from around the globe. In the last days of 2012, the few X-freaks left holding on by only their love and devotion for the band, have banded together to fight and stop the impending doom of the spampocalypse. Arm yourselves! Show us your weapons of might!

This is what i've got in store for them spammers! >:D
Sidearm, Markarov pistol.

Secondary firearm: Sawed off shotgun, for close encounters :)

Primary firearm: Flamethrower, because spambots deserve no mercy

Melee weapon: Ballistic knives

Support/extraction vehicle: Hind attack helicopter

And most importantly, the theme music blasting from my support vehicle

Drawings / My final project for Japanese 103 (X Related :D)
« on: January 04, 2010, 11:00:14 PM »
Hey everybody, I've been meaning to scan this in since the end of my last term (bout a month ago). I figured that it would be nice to share with the forum. The assignment was to write a short story in past tense about anything we wanted to. So I decided to write about X running out of hair spray and going on an adventure to find more. The art is extremely amateur, because this was my first attempt at drawing anything ever I think (or at least in a long time). It went over well and got a lot of laughs, I got an A+ on it (although I suspect there are some grammatical errors here and there. Doesn't hurt to have a teacher that likes X Japan too  ;D) The title of the story is "Ekkusu no bouken tame no moto heasupure" which means X's adventure for more hairspray :P. Anyways the English translations will be below each pic, hope you enjoy!

                                                 X's Adventure For More Hairspray

Once upon a time, there was a Japanese heavy metal band. This band's name was X. There was Yoshiki-san, hide-san, Taiji-san, Pata-san, and Toshi-san. They all lived in Tokyo.

X loved hairspray very, very much! Hairspray was the source of their super rocking powers.

But one day, X ran out of hair spray D: So they all immediately started to panic!

They tried putting, eggs, jello, ketchup, glue, and even soda in their hair, but nothing worked.

Yoshiki-san wandered all around Tokyo, "I can't find hairspray anywhere, this is absolutely horrible!!!" Said Yoshiki-san. X had used every can of hairspray in all of Japan.

After that, a demon suddenly appeared! "Muahaha! Sell me your souls, and I will give you hairspray" Said the demon.

"OK" said X! And then they rocked once again!

                                                                          The End!!!

Other Bands / Mari Hamada [the metal years]
« on: June 03, 2009, 03:54:57 AM »
I recently picked up Mari Hamada's debut album "Lunatic Doll" the other day at a local record store. Anyways gave it a listen and found that it totally friggin rocked, so I looked up her stuff on the interwebs. I found out that she strayed away from the heavy metal sound towards the end of the 80's and is now primarily doing poppy ballads. Anyways if you're interested in some good early 80's 'eavy metal' with a female vocalist I recommend you check it out!

(the other songs on this album are a lot more fast paced)
