Who the hell pays 2 Million dollars for drum sticks. I wouldn't even buy them if they were signed by GOD.

If I was that rich I'd pay Yoshiki to play a private concert for me rather than buying one of his drumstick, but that's just me.

RIP

It's YEN not dollars.

So, for a rough and ready "just about" conversion subtract two zeros. High bid at the moment is 8,205,000 Yen, but with two days still to go I assume it will end up well over 10 million yen.

Hm, that would still be over 100,000 dollars - much as I love Yoshiki, I think I wouldn't spend that much on something like drum sticks if I had money to burn.

I might fly to LA and bribe my way into his studio instead, then sneak up on him and listen to what he's currently doing. :P

But why substract two zeros? Is it another way of displaying the value? Because yesterday it had 360,000,000. and now 8,205,000..

I meant, to get a rough idea what the prize would be in dollars, subtract two zeros from the Japanese number.

And this is an ongoing auction - for charity, by the way - so naturally the price will change while the auction is still open. Which will be for another two days, roughly.

May really be that there was an mistake so that they started by a lower prize new... btw: 10,000,000, Panthere - You should set a higher prize the next time ;)

Well... it think it will go to around 30,000,000 Yen... some other opinions?  :D

Remember I said "it should go over 10,000,000 Yen EASILY."

Oh, and as a point of information for everybody: it seems that for whatever reasons, yahoo auctions sometimes (or often?) has problems displaying the current high bid value properly. If it's a four digit number showing you, just assume they did that again . . .

I think it might take a little more than 100,000 dollars to hire Yoshik for a private concert.

Actually, what I'd like to do is entertain HIM instead, taking him to dinner and so on . . . yeah, I know, dream on! :P    :P    :P
