Does anyone know if X Japan will be performing this year? I heard earlier that they were scheduled to perform, but I checked the artist list, and I couldn't find them there. Are they no longer going to perform?

If they are, is there any way in order to watch the show live via internet stream?

You probably heard a rumor. And that rumor probably isn't true.

OR they might be surprise preformers.

there were indeed some rumors about X Japan taking part in Kouhaku Utagassen, but apparently they are not.
Here is the performance schedule from official site and sadly, there is not X Japan.

EDIT: X was not performing during the rehearsal, so no X this year

(Surprise performes... that would be nice, though!)

I was hoping they would take part, too, so since the beginning of December, I was even watching those horrible little videos on Kouhaku website for possible information, but lost my patience with the moderators too quickly. Well, at least I didn't miss anything important. :?
