It's a combination and may be an allusion to the film "Top Gun" in which Tom Cruise's character got that nick and my favourite racing game, in which the driver of my favourite car got that name.
And afterwards it's accidently the name of the main character in a movie which happens to become one of my favourites as well... Maverick! LOL

Post by: Dangle on February 15, 2007, 03:58:44 PM: Well my surname is Berry and my friend's dad who likes to take the piss a lot started calling me Dangle Berry, from the well known disease piles. He called me that since me and my friend were young kids.

It really caught on around the start of primary when me and the friend made a website called Dangle N Shite, Shit rhyming with his name Whyte. The site is long gone but since then many people refer to me as Dangle and I still use the nick. People at school even forgot what my real name was due to the years of using that for me hehe :P

Noire - again French - is black, since I love the night, Film Noir and a number of other things black.

And because there are no violet leopards. ;)

My nick comes from J.R.R. Tolkien's book Hobbit - there and back again. It's actually name of elf sword. I chose it when I joined my first forum (that was Tolkien forum) four years ago, if I remember correctly. And it's really usual that people write it wrong.

Mine doesn't mean anything personally to me. After I began to use it I've learned it's a name in South America, a island on the Indian Ocean and an old ship (from 20' or 30's) used in North America.

I "stole" the idea from Nightwish's "End Of Innocence" dvd. The drummer Jukka Nevalainen is the who says it. And you're right, it doesn't make any sence and it doesn't mean anything. ^^'

The manager of NW (Ewo Pohjola) had baked some gingerbreads with the band members names on them. Ewo and Jukka are going through them and when Jukka see's the gingerbread with his name on it he shouts: "Hei kato! Keppikeksi!" (translated: Hey look! Stickbiscuit!")

I guess the "stick" refers to drumsticks or something like that. Inside joke of the Nightwish crew I guess. ^^

Because I live in Japan and am fluent in Japanese and I've never heard Aetsu as a name.

I've had this since day 1 (sort of.. started off with a few variations like BizKiTRoAcH 666, BizKiT-RoAcH and stuff) so i'll stick with it. I always use this unless some punk already took it.. in which case I use BizKiTRoAcH666. Not because I worship the devil.. just because I used that in the past :P)

And IRL people call me nage too. I mean my close friends. And that I always write it with small letters has nothing to with hide...

I changed my name into SiriusBlack (before it was TooruNishimura, MasterOfPuppets and so) and people started to call me Siri.

That name kinda stayed XD but that's too short, so i added the japanese word mono = thing (i think at least) and maybe just because people call kyo from dir en grey warumono XD

well so it became Sirimono, but people keep calling me Siri XD that only goes for internet friends though. People in rl call me by a short form of my real name, IF they even give me a nickname -_-

So it kinda caught on and from then i was "friday man" or "jimmy friday" and then just "friday"

I mean who cant love something that's part cat, rabbit, masu(watch I think ep. 9 or 10 of the OVA) and whatever else Washu threw in the mixing kettle. I mean she's awesome... she looks like a bunny, meows, eats carrots and can turn into a kick ass space ship.

It's pretty long and complicated story, and after all I have actually no idea where it came from. :D

I've been Roy almost from the very beginning of my "internet-life", or atleast from 2003....
I guess it came from the game series "Fire Emblem" which I loved and still love so much. There's one game that was actually only released in Japan, with a red haired "hero" called Roy. So some of my friends started to call me Roy. And I copied it.
I'm actually sometimes Roy IRL too.

By the time, people have also called me "Roikku, Roychan" and so on...
Usually if Roy is already taken, I'll be Roikku or Royw... Roychan is history 'cause it sounds too childish, though I still have it as msn-name and LJ username... -___-

Roy is also pretty confusing, eh?

And my friend and I always had a weird inside fantasy about her daughter that was born than adopted and never seen again. So there's some unknown Bathory bloodline out there that's completly unknown.
And at the same time we have a small bit of european blood from our grandmother, and apparently that comes from an unknown bloodline, and since I love Elizabeth Bathory it's a small fantasy that I could possibly be decended from her through a secret bloodline.
Hence=Blood of Bathory

Love it!

besides, Mrs. Hayashi would be way too fangirl...lol

I drew a sketch of a photo of him and sent it to him ages ago, he told me I was a Sweetheart. Then it just got shortened to Sweets and it's stuck since, nine times out of ten when he speaks to me he calls me Sweets.

I've worked on a few other properties as well, including sketch cards for Marvel's upcoming Avengers movie, but Star Wars is always my main focus. =)

matsumoto means "base of the pine tree". https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matsumoto_(surname) There is also a city in Nagano by this name.

That started my journey back into X Japan. Hence, "returner."

Literally noone uses this one, but back then when I was really into anime, I wanted a cool sounding username. We often shorten Alexandra to "Sandra", "Sandi", "Sasa", so for some reason I picked "Sasa",and put "sama" at the end because it sounded cool LOL ;D
