when I was at the HK shows, I talked with some people who went to the 3 days live last year, they told me that they got the tickets at yahoo.jp auctions. (after the tickets were officially sold out)
I remember some X freaks from Germany went to the shows in Tokyo last year, hopefully they will answer your question :-)   won't you prefer to go to the Taiwai one also??  wish you luck :-)

Sorry, can't help you, there's no "unofficial seller" I'd know about. I bought my tickets via Japanese friend.

I bought my tickets via Einsof Marketing (?) as JRR linked to them. I suppose they only saved and sold tickets to foreigners because those were the first shows to be performed since reuniting. Still, I wouldn't consider it entirely impossible for it to happen again as they still haven't toured the west.

by the way, new song 'Blue Sky Heaven

I am still waiting to see if I get tickets for the concerts as I will find out in a week.  By then I will know if I need to bid online.

Blue Sky Heaven is a song by Yoshiki that he wrote for a weather forecast program, not for X or anything.

Einsof Marketing are the guys who run JRockRevolution. This is their website:
http://www.einsofmarketing.com/

Guess they aren't selling anything this time...

Jacquien, you said you already confirmed your flight, so it might be late, but I don't think you actually have many chances of getting tickets...

For the 3Days lives last year there were International ticket sales, through JRR and JaME, because it was their first live in 10 years. This time it looks like there will be nothing like that.

In fact, this time it's harder to get tickets even for people in Japan, even for fan club members (only people who have been members for over 3 months can buy and only four tickets per person, regardless of the number of fan clubs they're in. That is, even if someone is a member of all fan clubs, they can't get the maximum 5x4 tickets, they only get 4)! There will be a public ticket sale starting on April 18th, but I think it wouldn't be at all surprising if all tickets will be sold out by then, through fan club reservations.

Online auctions are an option, but one I'd advise against. One, as you yourself said you can't know they're genuine and two, they will likely be insanely expensive. Same for buying on location on the day of the concert...

The only hope would be that tickets don't sell out through fan club reservations and then, IF you have a contact in Japan, you could have them buy you a ticket. But I think that's very unlikely (that = tickets not selling out).

Sorry, really, but I think you'd need a lot of luck to get tickets, unless you know some one in Japan (and even then, you'd still need luck) >.<

thank you KRazyJess for the very detailed info..................

my heart is........sinking.....................

realli..thx for the info !!

i juz read from other sites that some tix are being bidded to over 100,000 yen...

what a torture...for being in tokyo but coudnt get into the dome..........

>_<
Title: Re: X JAPAN WORLD TOUR Live in TOKYO
Post by: holly.x on April 03, 2009, 08:40:07 PM
actually those bidded over 100000yen are very very good seats, mostly block A Arena seats (ground floor) cos I am also looking at some Japanese sites and they are in row 12-15 so these have to be expensive.  However i am not sure if Im going when I found out on Monday what seat I will get as my friend cant go with me and it's me again, going alone for the 4th and 5th concerts in a year.  I expect a not so bad seat or i'd rather forego the seats and wait for Osaka outdoor concerts later as I might prefer to watch Ryuichi's concert in mid May...

jacquien i can ask for you to see if my friend has her money back yet or not so that she could transfer hers to you?

btw, Yoshiki's interview about bird nest and HK fans

holly.x, Thanks for the link.....
Don't really understand why the questions were in Chinese, then translated into English, Yoshiki answered in English and then his answer translated into Chinese again.  it should be an interview for 10 mins.....but, poor Yoshiki, sat almost half a hour there, he was patient enough though....LOL    and, she said hide (as in English, at around 13:14),
but not hi-de......  (didn't they do any homework??)

Got my tickets confirmed for both dates at last ----- *phew*

Now all I pray is that I got hide's side and pray that the 6th member is not Sugizo (cos I love LS as well).  Anycase I will still accept him with open arms but still he is and always a LS member, first and foremost.

yeah thanks magucathy.

hope the concerts will be at least as good as their HK concerts in Jan.   I will be at the Tokyo Dome very early to make sure I get all the concert goodies this time - it was 100X worse than what you experienced in HK

yes, surely they will have very nice goodies selling in Japan, I envy you so much!
(I just bought a T-shirt and a tote bag in HK)
since you will be in Tokyo, don't miss the chance to buy all X related stuff at Don Quijote..
oh... so jealous......

magucathy hehe i'm relieved now more than excited really as I can plan my itinerary properly.  I will try to get all those things we couldnt find at HK concerts.  I remembered local fans were already there at 7am (!) just to make sure they got to buy the goodies so I am gonna do the same as well XD

jacquien, why still the wait?  the street army results are out at midnight..  you'd better check with your friends.  Good luck anyway ^^

I have a ticket!!! ;D
It's on its way to me now! I've been tracking it on the Parcelforce site, and it was last tracked at Heathrow Airport! Just knowing it's in the same country as me makes me really happy! Especially since I had a nightmare about it last night, it got to the day of the concert and my ticket hadn't arrived  ::)

i only know i got S seats...any one has any idea what S seats mean ?????

i read from some ppl's blog re: their experience of the 3 days live....they said S seats could be at the last row of the dome up above...............................( despite it's the most expensive tix )

so if S seats could be at the last row...where would the A seats locate ????

My ticket came today!!!! Best 9am wakeup call I've ever had ;D I have a pretty good seat too! It's in the B section according to the seating chart darkcat posted, towards the left hand side.

And I don't know if anyone's seen this already, but there's a poll up on the official site asking which songs we want to hear them play live.

I had to go through a buyer and get it off the Yahoo Japan auctions. It was pretty expensive, but there were a lot of tickets for the same price that were a lot further away. :)

i  have some updates re my situation >< ''

i juz knew my friend got into the draw too and now she got 2 tickets for 5/2......
so now i got 2 tickets each for 5/2 and 5/3  ( look perfect isnt it.....)

yet...due to my limited budget...i should not be able to afford going to both concerts ...

my preference would be going to the 5/2 one...
so...if any one ( or you know anyone) is looking for a pair of X concert tickets ....
please kindly let me know.... ~~

thanks ~~

that would be a good start XD.. dunno if I'd be already half dead as the concert goodies open for sale at 10am..I'd rather be there very early (i mean maybe 7ish) as I dont wanna pass out again (fell asleep before the concert) which starts at 6pm and knowing X Japan, a half hour delay is minimum *_*

Hi, I'm new here and a read only member always, but I'd like to let you who are going to come to Japan  know this :)
You can get ROSA of Violet UK or any tunes you want at Japanese iTunes store with iTunes Japanese card.
iTunes card is available at convenience store like seven-eleven in Japan. It cost 1,500 yen, 3,000 yen, 5,000 yen(three kinds).
You can take an account at Japanese iTunes store with it.
You need an japanese address for registration, but it is ok even the hotel address you'll stay.
And of course you can use the iTunes Japanese card after you come back to your country ;)

ok maybe I should get ROSA while I am staying here ...yay

what version of utorrent are you using?
I'm on 1.8.2 and it's working great.
Are you behind a router?
Did you set a big enough port range for incoming connections.

usually default port range should be enough.
check if you have ports forwarded correctly on your router.
Do you have connection problem to tracker or peers. JPS tracker is sometimes heavily loaded and can have some probs connecting.
Title: Re: X JAPAN WORLD TOUR Live in TOKYO
Post by: obi325 on May 22, 2009, 10:33:39 PM
about port forwarding, i cannot forward them

in the tracer tab in uTorrent it says the conection to server is not established and DHT, local peer discovery and peer exchange aren't allowed

i didn't have problems with this before, it just sudenly happened (no p2p works for me, no online games, no msn etc.)  i treied formating disk, it's still didn't help, but on other PC connection works like it should be(hardware problem?)

I dunno why. Though, I think Yoshiki looked tired at some parts...hmm.

Aaaanyway, I was wondering......the videos they showed during Without You.
Does anyone know if they are from official video releases and if yes, can you list them?..(youtube links work as well...XD)
I have seen some of them and probably have some of the videos (from random downloads or original DVDs) but not the ones I wanted to watch clearer...^^;

Maybe there were not so much fans, because of the "hide memorial day".
To be sincere, these were the worst X performances that I ever saw. Yoshiki misses A LOT, Toshi should take care of his voice, Sugizo being member doesn't change NOTHING, he almost doesn't play and hide still appears more than the 5 alive members.

Maybe some people are getting tired of going to concerts to see "live performances" and there was The Last Live recordings on the screens while 5 another randoms are on the stage.

Maybe 'huge' compared to some of the previous shows, but there are still many guitarsolos which aren't played live.

thats because hide's still a member there for he still gets his solos which should only be played by him i dont want sugizo to play hide's solos there hide's.

he's dead, corpses can't play guitar and somebody should do it instead of him and this is sugizo

+ Sugizo already took over some solos, but if they are willing to continue touring (and maybe releasing some new songs) the live-concerts should really be 'live', at least that's my opinion.

exactly what I think. I mean, if we want to watch hide we still got plenty of old and great X Japan lives.
New X Japan has a new guitarist and should make real good use of it.

hide stil being a member is just for hide fans to come to their lives.

Sugizo shoud do solos but not hide's but his own.

Since everyone has posted their opinmion so far....I'lkl go ahead and post mine too.

I'm actually happy with hide stillbeing called a member, still being announced as a member in the concerts, still being shown on screens etc etc.
I do want to see some more of Sugizo playing but then again, I don't necessarily want to see less of hide.
I want to see Sugizo playing the solos in the new songs and as far as the old ones go they can have him playing in half of them and have the live recordings in the other half.
Or something like that.

Call me an idiot who sees things in a very romantic and unrealistoc way but I want hide to still be a member of the band even if he is dead.
I think he deserves it, jusyt as much as Sugizo deserves credit for who he is and not for 'the guitarist who replaced hide'. Therefore I think that him being called a sixth member is the best case. (IMHO.)

Also, I really hate it when people start saying that X or Yoshiki mention hide all the time because of the money etc.
I guess everyone will have their own opinion but I strongly believe this is not the case. I don't think that they woul;d want to leave hide back themselves. And more than trying to get more people in the lives for money, as some suggested, I think they are trying to please as much people as it is possible. (And no, that doesn't equal money, not in my head at least.)

All this time, for every person O have heard saying 'no more hide, let X continue on their way and leave him on the past' there has been at least one more person saying 'hide should still be a member' or even in extreme cases 'we don'tr want X without hide.'
I suppose when you are standing in the spotlight you just can't please everyone.
I wish people would apreciate their efforts to please both sides instead of critisizing them the whole time...:-/
(Though, yes, criticizing is also good some times....I just don't like seeing this specific argument go one for ever...^^;;;).

Anyway, those were my 2 cents on the subject...~
Title: Re: X JAPAN WORLD TOUR Live in TOKYO
Post by: Wearex316 on May 28, 2009, 01:30:06 PM
They've said from the very beginning that they would do this World Tour with hide. I don't see why everyone seems so surprised that even though Sugizo's been confirmed as the 6th member, we still have lots of hide. I'm not saying it's right, but they said they would do it, so why expect something different?

After the Tokyo Dome lives last year, I too thought there was too much hide. I also think that Sugizo deserves to play more, since they made him a member. But I don't think the amount of hide stuff (recordings, video footage) to decrease dramatically. At least not until they say: OK, this is the last live of this World Tour.

I don't like people suggesting they're having hide stuff just to get hide fans to attend lives or to get their money or some such thing. IMO, that's total crap. X have plenty of X fans who would gladly fill up arenas without the help of hide fans. Plus I wouldn't be so sure hide fans would come to a live just to see him on the screen or hear his solos recorded. They can just as well do that at home.

As for why some would prefer the original hide recordings to Sugizo's live renditions of the solos, it might have something to do with the fact that hide's solos aren't very much Sugizo's style. So even while he'd most likely play them perfectly from a technical point of view, the feeling might be different. This is just a guess, though.

But anyway, Sugizo is the SIXth member of X, not fifth. He's not replacing hide, so I don't see why everyone assumes he would be taking over all of hide's parts as if he was replacing him. hide's here to stay, dead or alive, whether we like it or not. If I were you, I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for the day when there won't be any recordings of hide in lives anymore...
you said it pefectly i agree 100% with you. and i dont think sugizo wants to replace hide.

i thought the opening to Kurenai was awesome. its not like there not changing anything. imaging tho sugizo doing the beginning of rose of pain i get chills thinking of how awesome it would sound. anyway i think they are doing there best. and when they come to the US i hope they play a crap load of hide footage.
Title: Re: X JAPAN WORLD TOUR Live in TOKYO
Post by: Ulquiorra on May 28, 2009, 06:56:50 PM
Someone on the Kurenai video of the May 2nd concert on youtube suggested an alternate version of the Art of life opening with Sugizo doing a Violin version of it, that would be awesome too.

I definelty want hide to remain as part of X-Japan however they need to start using more variety in their clips, for example, since they reunited I don't think they've used any other hide clip for the Rusty Nail solo then the last live one, and it was starting to get very irritating, luckily at the May 2nd and 3rd concerts they played it down slightly, they used the last live clips again but from different angles, and didn't show the clips as much.

But they need to start using all the performances of it from 1994-1997, and with songs like Kurenai and Weekend they should use tons of clips from 1992-1997, and keep changing them up every time. For guitar solos, they could use one clip for several concerts, but each time use different versions that have different camera angles, they need to mix it up a bit more so it wont be repetative.

hide's "tobe, tobe, tobe, tobe, tobe" moment during X needs to use different versions and stop ending with the one from 1992/1993, those are getting repetative now imo.

I also agree with roseofpain84, they should have Sugizo playing one half of a song and hide playing the other half, or half the songs with hide playing the solos, and the other half with Sugizo playing them.
Title: Re: X JAPAN WORLD TOUR Live in TOKYO
Post by: roseofpain84 on May 28, 2009, 07:45:39 PM
I agree about them needing a variety of clips.
I don't know...I was wondering if they are using those all the time because they match better with the way the rest of the members are playing now?
Or maybe because hide's appearence on those matches better with the appearence the band has now?

About the 'tobe, tobe, tobe' part....I really liked how in this year's lives they showed clips of it from various lives. They didn't do this last year, right? Or did I simply forget it??
Title: Re: X JAPAN WORLD TOUR Live in TOKYO
Post by: Ulquiorra on May 28, 2009, 10:21:49 PM
No, them showing several "tobe tobe tobe"  moments at once has only been done this year.

Really I think all of hide's looks including the ones from 1995-1997 were basically just as far away from the other member's looks from that period as his looks from 87-94, so imo if they can show 1997 hide with the current band they can show hide clips from 1992, they did it with Blue Blood at the countdown gig.

My personal theory on the whole Sugizo not doing the solos for certain songs thing is that perhaps hide may have wrote that specific section of the song despite the fact that the song as a whole may have been written by Yoshiki, therefore the solos are hide recordings out of respect to hide.

And if thats the case then I have no problem with Sugizo not doing those particular solos.

Holy fuck, I didn't think that the hide fantards are so much.

I like hide. I really like hide. But I like X more than hide, they are making me get tired of so much hide and I think that X could continue without hide. Holy shit, there is any other band in the world that keeps repeating the same shitty playback EVERY FUCKING CONCERT just because a member is dead? They need a guitarist, they NOW HAVE a guitarist, and they DON'T FUCKING LET HIM PLAY, because a lot of fantards like to see the same fucking playback again and again and spend a fucking lot of money to see the same shit again.

I was running to renew my US Visa, I though I can go to LA to see the X concert there. I won't go anymore. If I want to see the Last Live DVD, I will see the Last Live DVD at home, at least I won't spent a lot of money.

X is A BAND, and NOT hide. X has 5 members, 5 ALIVE members. Why ONE dead guitarist is more important than the other members? Why ONE DEAD guitarist is more important than THE BAND? This doesn't make any sense.

If X returned to play like THIS SHIT, with a lot of mistakes, the same setlist of Dahlia Tour, Fashion Shows and playbacks, they should end again, or dismiss Sugizo and change the name from "X JAPAN" to "hide Tribute Playback Band".

They can do LIVE CONCERTS, they SHOULD do LIVE CONCERTS. Why they need to make every fucking concert be a "hide Tribute Concert"?
I totally agree with darkcat. Corpses don't play guitar. Let Sugizo take his fucking place and play.

1st. sugizo dosnt want to take hide's place
2nd. i belive there doing this so hide is with them during the world tour. if you dont want to go thats ok im sure theres thousands that will take there place. i for one who has never seen X live want to see hide on screen. that way it feels alittle more like he's there. and who cares what the set list is really. just the chance to see them is good enough for me. just because you have seen them more than once dosnt mean everyone else has.
3rd. maybe thats what they want. it is there band so if yoshiki wants lots of hide on screen than thats whats gonna happen. im sure if yoshiki or toshi died they would do the same. they are gonna do what they want when they want no amount of complaining from anyone is gonna change that. so you could just sit ther and complain or you can just sit back and enjoy the awesomness of X. its up to you.

me as a X fan and i guess a hidetard (whats next toshitard or yoshitard)am gonna enjoy them and scream my ass off when i see them IN NY and LA

and if you any fan of hide you would never talk about his fans like that its so childish and im surprised anyone on here feels like this. you just offended every hide fan.

oh this tour is the 1st time they are playing outside japan. so the setlist is new to everyone except people who have seen them in japan. so speak for yourself.

"Sugizo doesn't want to take hide's place." Fuck this shit, a REAL band needs an ALIVE guitarist. Sugizo was the best choice they could ever do to be the new guitarist, but THEY NEED a guitarist, they don't want to be serious with all these playbacks and Yoshikittis shit. This is ridiculous.

It was a good tribute to hide the hologram on 2008, the hide Memorial Summit. They playbacks would be a beautiful tribute, if they were user ONCE. Each concert being a hide tribute concert is repetitive, boring, even ofensive to hide, a lot of hide on each concert to make even more money to Hiroshi Matsumoto and Yoshiki.

And X Japan is X Japan THE WAY THEY ARE.

and well, just to avoid misunderstanding, when i said "offensive" i didn't mean that, you were offensive because you and Joker stated that hide is dead.He is, we all know that.

It was your attitude. Some people may actually be sensitive to such things, so things like " corpses don't play guitar" or "he smells really bad now" can actually be avoided for the sake of some people's feelings don't you think?

I agree.. the band repetitively stressed out that they want hide with them in this world tour.. that's why he still play most of the lead solos via playbacks + hide clips. That's how they want to incorporate hide in this world tour so we can't really do anything about it. However, I've read other people suggest better alternative that could give Sugizo more playtime and give hide the recognition he deserves. They can have hide play Scars, plus any of his song with Pata like they did in Tokyo Dome recently. Keep him to say the 'tobe tobe' part during X and have him play a solo part in AoL.. but leave the rest to Sugizo. (really if he was any other guitarist, it would be a slap on his face to be the lead but rarely plays the lead at all.. but not this guy, he's doing his friend a favor)
The problem is, a lot of fans see it as Sugizo replacing hide.
It's not about replacing hide's fame or charisma because I'm sure it was never Sugizo's intention. If you believe this to be the case, then there shouldn't be any problem with Sugizo playing the lead parts because he's playing it not just because he's a new member of X Japan but also, out of respect for hide :)

~I know, i know and I really like the fact that Sugizo is in the band, and he can have more guitar leads too. I was never one of those who thought that Sugizo is "replacing hide" and i know that he respects him. 8)

My problem was the the attack towards some fans's feelings with the attitude i mentioned. Plus, even if i totally love Sugizo playing more leads etc, i still don't want hide to completely disappear because he's dead.

Yu~kun & freshtofu: I agree with you.
surely, everyone has his own opinion, that's why we have this forum to discuss what we think. It's really okay that some people like to see more hide or less hide on the stage. Personally, I am happy with what they are doing at the moment. I don't really care about the setlist (except for VUK, I don't really think it fits in....) I am just too happy to see X Japan again after all these years.

Joker: 1) hide wanted to go overseas  2) the concerts will still be full with or without hide's clips and playbacks
Title: Re: X JAPAN WORLD TOUR Live in TOKYO

More importantly, what they intended to do in the first place when they reunited was to ""add" one more member to play parts where they thought a new member would be better than just using hide's playback and then there are parts where almost everybody would love to see hide (ie, intro of Kurenai) as he is still being counted as a member as the band can keep moving forward esp having new song like IV and Jade.

híde's name would not have been even mentioned if Sugizo has 'replaced' him which I believe no one in the band would ever think of that.  it's not just music as to keep hide's playback is a sentimental reason more than anything.

Yu~Kun ... maybe see it like this ... some peoples' attitudes, or the way they word them, are simply not worth the energy to feel insulted. Roll your eyes and just forget about them. The important thing is how you feel, and not some others.

well i am.

or maybe it doesn't matter if i am
it does matter and i found it very offensive and what pinku said i found funny. and i think that joker should. theres to much ignorance everywheres else it doesnt need to be here too. calling hide fans hidetards is extremly offensive so is half the other crap that was said by the others. what do you think X would feel if they read this crap or say one of hides family members. its not very likely to happen but still i think they would find it to be offensive. but most important i think hide would take offense. how can you call yourselfs hide fans when you talk like that.

There are a fucking lot of hide fans everywhere. I never said that all of them are fantards.

:D Somehow, I've missed these kinds of discussion or should I say, arguments? It's been quite
a while that this board has become alive with differing opinions.

anyways... we are all free to say what we want and those who took offense by the meaning
of others, well... i hope you just stay in the site, not disappear, and howler to those who offended
you!!!!

no matter what... I LOVE hide ;)

and like what MC said  "So.....X Japan World Tour anyone....?"

I bruise easily. Incase no one's noticed. I mean i love this forum but topics tend to almost always turn into somekind of battlefield for some reason.

Why?

I tried hard not to post much, obviously cos most you hate my guts. But i, at that moment, was just at my most honest to what i feel about all the BS he was implying. And honestly i dont intend to make my whole point cos others have already said it.

I'm a hide fan besides X, having said that, X is not the same without him nor will there be any to talk or say or whatever about hide without X. Cos that's where he bloomed. Sugizo will not replace him, and they were good friends too! Sugizo will freak out of all these if he knew what BS others have in mind.

And how many times should it be said to give some peace to hide?

Additionally, i dont see why hide fans should be called fantards. Why? Cos we watch a replay of him all over again all the time? We trapped in the past with him? hide is part of our sanity as well as what X or Sugizo have been to the rest of you.

And wha--- HIDE IS DEAD . . . ?

Honestly does that guy think we hide fans haven't got that sunk into our heads! ! !

Every year hurts because of that fact. And every year we try to come in terms of what can never be. For 11 years! And all we are to some are fantards? Get a life, joker! That's pure insult. And you deserve what you just got from me.

Everyone was thinking it, i just said it!

The rest: whatever!

Last post from me.
Get back to the topic for all i care, but i kind of see this to go on just a little bit more...
Which i will try best to just ignore, like what should've been.
. . .

i don't see why this discussion is off-topic, during these concert they still used hide playbacks

1- i don't care about your life
2- it's not about sugizo replacing hide, it's about a guitarist replacing a guitarist
3- some peace to hide? they're commercially exploiting his image

that's the ignorance we are talking about. i love this site and the ones that know me know how much i do. but few on here seem to piss me off. this wouldn't be happening if joker worded it right. why insult a bunch of fans when it wasn't needed. hide is everything for some and every X fan knows that. and as for replacing Yoshiki doesn't want hide replaced and Sugizo doesn't want to replace hide it seems that the only ones that want him replace are a hand full of people so it'll never happen.

and if you think like that then why bother to listen to them at all.

I totally agree with Wearex

plus, as I mentioned before, it's not that i'm paranoid and think that every thing you say is from another world.
It's the attitude that's insulting.
And even the way you continue to say all these is insluting.

Wtf, YES i would love to pay 100 euros to listen to playback!Because you know what?I've never seen an X gig!If you or other people have the chance to see their WHOLE world tour well sorry, i would be lucky if i had the chance to see half of ONE concert.

And many other people are like that too. So yes, X Japan will repeat themselves because of those fans and because it seems that those playbacks play an important role to their psychology.

Last but not least; This is the first time i've talked like this in this forum. I don't think i've created any problems before. but you know sth guys?Sometimes i'm human too, and when i feel offended i can't just roll my eyes or say "oops, off-topic" that easily.

To the rest that complained about the off-topicness, i'm sorry

Every concert of that tour is the same, except for a few songs or maybe Sugizo's contribution depending on if he's ill (like happened in Hong Kong). By now everyone should know that. If you have (illegally, as I'd dare to say 99% of you at least) downloaded the concerts and watched them, then that's your problem. As I and many others said earlier, this is a tour, even if the management seems to be quite bad for one, and the setlist won't change as much as you want it, as it's meant to be for different people each time. The only place I'd complain is two-day lives, which should have more variation (like happened in On the Verge of Destruction), but that seemed to be an exception rather. If you look at the setlists of their other lives (Aoi/Shiroi Yoru, March 2008 lives), they tend to be quite the same.

Also, they will use playbacks, no matter how much you want only Sugizo to play them. No amount of discussion here will change that.

And, if the insults here start going really personal, I won't hesitate to take action. I've been quite soft with the rules lately, but don't let your guard down!

That's good, I really want it to be fair with everyone. But I don't know how Sugizo can have more exposure whilst he's playing the lead if hide's playbacks are there. But then again, I believe the recordings are going to stay for the remainder of this tour whether we like or not.

Anyway, I also don't want hide to disappear completely from the lives if they are to make changes in the future. I understand why they show him a lot in this tour.. it was hide's dream to perform overseas as well. But if they are to continue making music after this tour then I would like for the band to reach its full potential with their existing lineup. It's not to say they shouldn't include hide in their concerts anymore.. I'd be happy if there's at least one or two hide-centric songs.

As for the ugly remarks made by other users concerning hide's death, I believe what they said are very insulting and disrespectful as well.. not just for the fans but hide himself.

2- it's not about sugizo replacing hide, it's about a guitarist replacing a guitarist
3- some peace to hide? they're commercially exploiting his image

Again, I never called all the hide fans "fantards". I am a hide fan. I just think that now he is dead, he needs some respect. And I don't think that what X is doing is respectful to him.

I know about a tour. The setlist will not change, I guess everybody here knows. They are playing for different people, they will show the same work to everyone on each place they go.

That's the point. Nobody wants to "replace hide", but replace "the guitarist spot".
Peace to hide is the only thing that X is not giving. They are insanely exploiting his image comercially. While the hide fans are crying for him, Yoshiki and Hiroshi Matsumoto are swimming in their money.
Title: Re: X JAPAN WORLD TOUR Live in TOKYO

I guess 'respect' means different things to different people.
And I guess that people express it differently as well.
For all my opinion worths (and I know it's not much), I don't think that Yoshiki is exploiting hide.
Unless you tell me he gets money from Headwax and all the hide merchandise then, his actions do not look to me like the actions of someone who only cares for money.
Then again, maybe that's just how I see it.

As fpr the whole replacing thing.
Well, I am gonna repeat that I,for once, do not want him replaced and I'd be happy if half the songs were played by Sugizo and some by hide (via old recordings).
Well, it seems it's simply not possible to please everyone either way...XD

I think that even if X would stop with all the hide playbacks, holograms and everything, they'd have fully sold-out concerts. At least in Japan. Their DVD sales might drop slightly, but the question when the post-reunion shows get on DVD is another one.

Anyway, although what they do might seem like using hide commercially (I really do understand why people might think so), unless significant addition to the money income is generated by using hide as much as they do now, it really can't be viewed as such. Besides, if we look at the hologram for example, I'm quite sure it cost them a lot more than it profited them, in terms of money.

To add more on two previous posts above, everything they've shown so far about hide is X/X Japan-related. It's not like they started showing more private.. never before seen footages and pictures of hide in the concerts.

ano ne,I'd like to give my 2cents,mostly I agreed with freshtofu, magucathy and roseofpain84...
hide will always be included in every concert and sugizo only there to help not to replace, beside that's why it is called 6th member not 5th...and sugizo already said that on his blog that he joined x because he wanted to help hide and X to fulfill their dream to go overseas,so what's the big deal here...
so yes, they're going and will always use hide playbacks, and sugizo only played some songs and background, and I believe it will stay like that until the end...

and who knows maybe that's why Heath problem was solved, cause maybe Yoshiki said to Heath something like this "come on Heath, let's finish all these, let's fulfill hide's wish,it won't take long,so hang in there",and Heath finally agreed to stayed, well who knows right?!?!

I think people should grateful that X still try to accomplish what has been left by hide, cause I honestly think that X won't still be here in say another 5-10 years,ok called me pessimist but I try to be realistic, right now I can only see that they only focusing to complete this world tour (just like hide's dream). So I think if X will make a concert in each of your country, don't waste the chance,I am just saying that cause so many people criticize...better treasuring the moment than no chance at all.

To anyone who complains about any aspect of one of X Japan's concert deserves a slap in my opinion. I would be 100% satisfied just to see them on a small little stage, singing one or two songs with not even half of the effort that they are putting in now. After basically coming back from the dead, after 10 years, throwing down the plans for a World Tour which I believe will be successful from here on out, and we've got whiners about the songs which they play, the way Toshi sings, hide playbacks (and to be damn honest, I hope they don't change this because I'd love to see hide all over the screens if I get to see them in concert.) To any true X Japan fan, this is our ultimate dream for them, to be successful on a global level. I'm eagerly waiting on the USA (hopefully still Madison Square Garden) plans to be announced soon. When they are, I'll be making my way there to give them full support and enjoy whatever they play and how they play it.

I think the concert must've been on tv or something because this video of Jade on the 3rd has (for the majority) a ton of different camera angles then the ofiicial clips we've seen. I much prefer the camera angles in this video, the performance feels more epic, and it shows a lot more Sugizo, which he deserves being the new member of the band and all.

Was trying to find some nice ENGLISH information about Ziggy and Juichi Morishige's other works when I cam across Joe's blog. Joe is the drummer for Ziggy and, more importantly, he was Spread Beavers drummer. Back to point, I found his blog with a picture of the World Tour Concert in Tokyo...(Don't know what day :P)....Apparently, he was invited to the VIP box....I wonder who else got an invite?
