The two new songs sound AWESOME!

I really, really can't wait to hear even more. Fire City is so groovy. Does anyone know who is playing bass on these mixes? I'm not sure if its been said anywhere else.

Well, he used to have throat troubles back then, often beacuse of the rough singing. So I am definitely not complaining about how he works with his voice now.

I think he was almost as raspy as he used to be in the early X days in these samples, he can sound like the old days if he wants to and he sounds a lot like it in these new samples, but want I meant in my post was that he's shown so many different singing styles over the years, (including his early X voice) is there anything he can't do with his voice.

I think so, it's very rhythmic, much in the same boat that hide used in his solo work occasionally.

The two new songs are really nice. Of course it will be really interesting to see where the rest of the songs go. What is the middle song called? (I can't read Japanese) I really like the emotion behind that one. I can't understand what he's saying but it makes me feel kind of sad. A good kind of sad though.
