New X Japan JADE Video Details

I added Dean Karr, director of the video for Jade, on Facebook and noticed he has an extensive collection of high quality behind the scenes pictures with captions from the indoor shoot for Jade. Also, there is a still image from the Electric Cucumber video he did for Zilch with the caption "Hide will make a special appearance in the new video". I can't post images here as you need to be friends with him on Facebook to view his albums, but he's pretty laid back and seems to accept most requests.

Here's what Dean has to say about the video:

Reunited again, Japan's largest rock band came to me to direct their first video in ten years! Two long and crazy days are going to turn into a Japanese music video history! I am confident this will initiate more workload from the far East. My crew was amazing as always-THANK YOU. The 100 year old sprinkler system in the theatre went off accidentally in the bedroom scene (thank god I got my last shots), douching everyone with ancient sewer water which had been stuck in the pipes ever since the system was put in the theatre-it REEKED! After an hour the fire dept showed up and shut it off. Toshi, Yoshiki, Pata, Heath and Sugizo ripped so damn hard on their performances! We have a special guest appearance in the video by fallen band member and dear friend hide, fans won't believe what they are about to see! I should have a cut of this epic video within the next couple weeks. Please read the L.A. I found some photos when I followed that link that's on Beauty/Broken's quoted part of the text. There right under the headline there's a link to Shannon Cottrell's photo gallery.. But I doubt these are the same that Dean Karr has on his facebook...?

Pretty cool photos... Couldn't watch them all, since my computer decided to upgrade itself right then

there is something called last live DVD, which i hope won't be used for this (but it is highly likely it will be)

I'd like it if they used some unreleased footage, or something else than the LL.

i doubt we'll get any unreleased footages, it is a high chance it will be from Electric cucumber(didn't see this one yet), cuz the director is the same

Why are they bound to use something of hide with X? They could use some single-shots of hide in the electric cucumber video and put it into a painting in the background.

If this appearence of hide is meant to be so amazing that we "won't believe what we're about to see" then I think there's a possibility it could be be something like the hide hologram again, except playing between the actual Guitarists.

For example, remember that pic of the indoor ballroom, with Pata and Heath playing guitar at the top of that cylinder stage, they might edit hide into the shot between pata and heath so they're all playing their guitars together.

It sounds a bit out there, but I'm thinking of something that could match up to the statement "fans won't believe what they're about to see", and simply footage from a previous hide music video or a large picture on the wall doesn't match up the hype within what Dean said at all imo.

Well,... because there are theories and rumours about JADE that this will be the final hide-tribute song as trilogy from X (Without You, I.V., JADE) I think it fits very well
