If you search for X JAPAN + I.V. on Yahoo Auctions Jp you can find some pictures of the t-shirts :)

But aren't there several new versions?

Yeah, that's why I wrote logoS :3
Those are fairly good but not very high-res, but thank you

Well, with the reunion they've released some merchandise with new logos and stuff like that - they've pimped the old one with some roses and shit like that.
I think they look absolutely lovely and I'd like to know if anyone has high-resolution pictures of them anywhere?
I'd like to paint one of them on the wall of my room, but the only references I can find are tiny.

Feel free to discuss them here as well XD;

Um... perhaps he meant taishou with this kanji - 大将 - meaning general (like an army leader).

I read somewhere it was rather 対象

Haha XD;

I haven't had the time to be pissed today yet. And yesterday I wasn't really pissed either, except when my male friend started grabbing my ass while drunk -_-;

Other Bands / Your top 10 favorites bands !
« on: April 05, 2008, 10:15:13 AM »
Umm, I'm no good at ranking them but I'll try xD
I don't listen to them actively, so it's kinda like an over-all list.

1. X Japan (both with and without Taiji)
2. hide (with Spread Beaver)
3. Coaltar of the Deepers
4. Merry
5. Muse
6. Luna Sea
7. Gorillaz
8. machine
9. David Bowie
10. Guniw Tools

God, this doesn't feel accurate at all because I love so many bands, but there ya go.

Metallica, Paul McCartney and X Japan are really the only bands I'd have on a "see before I die list" but a reunited Axl, Slash and Duff line up of Guns N' Roses (wouldn't even matter to me whose on the other guitar or drums as long as they're good!) would be pretty up there too.

Oh if that happened I'd totally go too.

Other Bands / Versailles
« on: April 04, 2008, 08:55:49 AM »
I missed them in Sweden, I ouldn't go to Stockholm that day.
Ah oh my god, they played Race Wish and I missed it?! T_T
I really love Versailles (with an exception from Kamijo's vocals, he was much better in Lareine), and I've been a fan of Hizaki for even longer.

Random question, did Spread Beaver ever play any X Songs on tour?

Not that I heard of. Well, except for hide's versions Miscast and Celebration, but I think that was around the hide Your Face era, so it's not really Spread Beaver.

The Concerts / Has anyone ever met any X Japan members?
« on: April 04, 2008, 08:51:02 AM »
I've recieved a few mails (3 or 4 I think) from Yoshiki on myspace.
They were very short though (understandable, I don't wanna guess how many mails he gets) and contained a million exclamation marks :D
Also I once got my hands on a mail address to what someone told me was D.I.E in Spread Beaver, and, well, I mailed and got a reply and it seemed like it, but I'm not really sure. He wanted to enjoy rock music with me some day xD

Okay, I took a look at the live version and... wasn't impressed x_x But I'll try, Sugizo's mauling of teh guitar will be kind of hard to copy with GP5's crappy effects.

I especially like it that it was the same technique they used for Gorillaz, I love them XD;

I've got no idea!
I mean, I've been a member for a year in a weak (I almost wrote week - I blame X :P)

It might be the concerts that have made all the swedish people to become members instead of lurking in the shadows? I did that for a long time before I became a memeber, and I still do it on some forums (mostly because I'm lazy - orkar inte registrera mig :P). But I think it's nice! :D

With this many swedes we might finally get that concert in Globen? ;) I bet Yoshiki reads all these forums for ideas, so come on! :D

Sadly, I don't think they'll be able to fill Globen... Unless we get some help from our Nordic neighbours.

Umm, I took out some of the chords a while ago, I'm thinking of doing a gp5 version of it somewhen soon. If anyone's interested?
Does the live version vary much from the studio version?

Sure, I'm sure it'll help a lot of people trying to learn the song. The live version varies so that there's no piano, and Sugizo is playing the hide-noises a bit differently.

Which version would you think be most appreciated then? XD;

For everybody that hasn't heart about fika! Fika is a very useful word that often translates into coffee or kawa or кофе or something like that, but the word fika covers it in a far better way :D Fika is when you get together for a cup of coffee AND (this is important) somekind of sweet bread, like pastry, cookies or buns or just regular sandwiches. You don't have to drink coffee, it can be tea or soft drinks or you don't even have to drink anything. It's really a hard word to explain! But it's so useful! :D

Maybe simplified, fika is what you do in a café?

Sorry if it's too much offtopic :P

But fika can also be a snack or a substitute to a regular meal xD; Fika fika :D

I don't understand the skinny leg thing.  For me, extremely skinny legs = not sexy.  Not on girls, and not on guys either for that matter...

But honestly, I don't find Heaths legs THAT thin. I mean, sure he's thin overall but I'll give you a picture once I can post urls xD

David Bowie - absolute legend and one of the most influential artists of all time. His wild make up and dress sense is awesome. So many catchy songs and wonderful entertainer. Would be good for him to do a farewell concert as he is getting on a bit now.

OH YES, how could I forget him?!
Last year there were actually rumours he'd make a new CD, it was even in the newspaper.

Well, when it comes to swedish band names we have several different interesting candidates if you look at the underground punk band names xD

I like Thee Michelle Gun Elephant, (japanese) it's so random and great.
