X's solo's aren't just there to sound pretty they add so much to the songs.

But few can make guitars sing like hide can. I mean, really sing. The "solo" in I.V. was just noise.

"Fart control" and "Rape fields"

What are the, uh, "translations" of those?

Fart control (fartkontroll) = speed trap
Rape fields is correct, actually. Rape is a plant. We have a lot of them fields here.

Basically it was along the lines of "People shouldn't say horrible things on MySpace if they can't back it up".

People shouldn't raise their daughters to think it's ok to beat someone up, especially not 6 on 1. AT ALL, even if they CAN back it up.

You know you have a right here....but I have to say that I noticed this thing in Rose of Pain....is it just me or you can BARELY listen to hide in the album version?

*gets murdered*

Yeah, I think so too, Rose of Pain had a very different quality than the other songs.

In regards to the Dahlia rock songs personally I think their more similar to the Violet UK stuff than old Taiji-era X

Right, this is what I was trying to say but didn't xD. I think it's kinda not a good idea to compare Dahlia with Desperate Angel though. it's not very.. similar to anything else they've done.

I've read in several places that Taiji and hide were important factors to keeping Yoshiki from doing too much ballads and keeping it rock.
With Taiji's leave I guess that Yoshiki got a bigger say in it, and I do feel that Dahlia feels more like Yoshiki than the entire band.

Yeah, exactly.  I've read too (and from reliable sources) that Taiji and hide pushed for more rock and fewer ballads, and I guess hide alone wasn't enough (unfortunately) to hold back the ballad tsunami.

But on the other hand it was around then hide's solo career started, I guess he found his outlet there and felt like he didn't need to put so much effort into keeping X ballad-free, it was Yoshiki's project after all.
Still, Dahlia has a few stong sides too, like Drain, Scars (ok, so that was hide's "fault"), Dahlia and Rusty Nail. And Wriggle, who's responsible for that? :0 So it's not exactly dominated by ballads.

And I think it's pretty hard to deny that, whether one prefers X with Taiji or X Japan with Heath, just changing one member had a major impact on the "feel" of the band.

Though I agree, because all members are indeed important, I have to ask whether the fact that Taiji left really was the true reason for the change of the aforementioned "feel".

I have an original Blue Blood and I don't remember right now, but I think the quality of the songs vary a little. Still, I think they're all in fine quality.

"I DUNNO, CAUSE YOU'RE PUNCHING MY FACE? T__T"

Or, it's not really punching. I don't exactly know what it is.

Also, why do people record their crimes? Where is the logic behind that if they want to get away with it?

They probably thought it was a fun idea or that nobody would care.

It's amazing what girls are capable of when they're angry.
Also, pink-pants has an very interesting fighting style.

I love parents for blaming the website (Anti-Christ, LOL :D) and not the people on it. It's like blaming the world for wars and not the people who start them.

Think of it this way. Let's say you are walking down the road and saw the most aesthetically-appealing person in your life. You don't know who he/she is, but you can't get his/her image out of your mind.

And in the days that come you still regard them as a cherished ideal. You don't know who they are, but you sure can't forget their beauty.

That is a very good metaphor :3
