I has always loved it quite a lot, but somehow I think this is one of the best versions I have ever seen:



Toshi at his best, in my opinion. And I especially enjoy the part akari no kieta on the stage (03:20), I think it's a really nice effect.  :D

One of the best band performances i've seen of it.. but its not as good as the acoustic on Aoi/Shiroi Yoru :D

Yeah, I like Aoi/Shiroi version very much... but somehow, this one has stole my heart.  :D

of course, no doubt they should have done the toshi-lonliness-effect (lol) while akari no kieta on the stage  again in other performances.. it was really a nice atmospheric effect, too bad that they didn't have used it in any concert performance   : :(

Just found a live performance of Say Anything, with Toshi, Yoshiki and 4 string players. There doesn't seem to be anything information about a performance date, but I am assuming it is around December 1991, when the single Say Anything was released. (Also, they show his Selection CD at the beginning, which was released in December as well.)

PS. I haven't heard this string arrangement before, but it is very beautiful!
