So apparently our
Lord and Saviour dear Toshi is releasing his new album in December (4th of December) as a perfect christmas gift for all X- and Toshi-Freaks out there. ;)
Toshl brings the second cover album! Includes self covers of "Masquerade" and "CRYSTAL MEMORIES" made in collaboration with Yuzuru Hanyu for his performances at the ice show, "Fantasy on Ice" plus "A Cruel Angel's Thesis (Yoko Takahashi)," "Manatsu no Yoru no Yume (Yumi Matsutoya)," "Yuki no Hana (Mika Nakashima)," "Bohemian Rhapsody (Queen)," "Konayuki (Remioromen)," "Oh My Little Girl (Yutaka Ozaki)," "Kanpai (Tsuyoshi Nagabuchi)," "Story (AI)," "Nagoriyuki (Iruka)," and "Memory (from the musical "CATS")" (12 tracks in total).

Looks like it's basically the same style like on the IM A SINGER cover, but in white color this time. Nothing spectacular. And personally... I don't like it at all. ^____^°
Regarding the track list: I looked up all these songs today, cause I was curious and I did not knew all of them. Toshi is actually really taking on only the biggest hits. Most if not all are the original singers greatest/most famous songs. So all are well-known by the japanese public and the album could have the potential to become really popular among the japanese fans. But then again... what do I know? :)

Okay, love you Toshi. Anyway, I really love his cover of the Evangelion OP, it’s really good and most people seem to like it. I don’t know most of the songs but from what I’ve heard, this album seems to be more upbeat than Vol 1.
But Bohemian Rhapsody was a mistake IMO, I think he sounds good in the slow parts but the fast parts aren’t very good. I think he should’ve done We Are The Champions, his cover of that one is actually very good, would’ve been a much better choice.
The first single, the Evangelion OP, comes out on October 23th, same day Yoshiki McBurger comea out ;)

Masquerade and Crystal Memories are the first songs of Toshi's that I heard, I look forward to hearing the studio versions.
I can't wait to hear his version of Memory, too 8)
