This is something I don't think he should waste energy doing tbh. He should let little fluff stuff like this go while he's recovery and stick to the music related appearances only. He's going to run himself back into the hospital.

I think this is a test event for him. It's in July, so by that time he sjould have enough energy and stamina to fly and give an appearance. The Japanese concerts are less than two weeks from there.
