does it mean endless rain become endless tears..??

Exactly that does it mean. Rain is always a symbol of tears in Yoshikis Lyrics.

Quote from: "Hypno"

He and Yoshiki were going to reborn X in 2000 he would have looked forward to that and planned to be back on the stage again with Yoshiki that is what Yoshiki himself said.
I really don't know for sure but I have understood that Yoshiki was planning to re-create X... Is that sure that hide knew about that? Tho I guess he probably did...

Yes, hide knows it for sure, because Yoshiki mentioned it in the Last Life already.
In my opinion (first of all its JUST MY OPINION!!!) that would never have happened although Yoshiki said it.... I can't imagine they would have found another singer for X. Yoshiki rather would have said NO to everyone who should replace Toshi.
That he talked about the re-union was to me rather like a act of defiance towards Toshi's leaving.

Maverick, thank you for broadening my musical perspectives- I had absolutely no idea what the last two mentioned bands and songs are like and now I know

Ditto to Living On My Own.

Note about drama queen deserves a cookie. (= was amusing)

Both bands are rather hard rock, but even they got exceptions and those two ballds got an heavy effect on my mood.

<3 ThanX for the cookie!

I think the reason why he didn't put the 'Last Song' on DVD was indeed this point. To me that is another hint, that it isn't over, yet after all.

You can call me a dreamer - I actually know that!  :D

Sorry for that.... I think it's none of my business, and I was a much too long time absent... but somehow I'm wondering about that.

In fact we're ALL X fans, maybe everyone has another member of the band as favorite, and we've not always the same opinion.
But why can't we deal with every single opinion and accept it?
Maybe PN is in some ways very harsh and absolute with her postings, but I for me can deal with her very well although I have sometimes another point of view! And she can accept it!
In fact it seems to be too often hide who causes the controversials. May be, Panthere should have been more careful with her opinion (well, I for myself am someone who unwillingly changes his opinion), and some of the discussions may be gone much too far, and changed sometimes even in personal attacks...

But in fact there belong always at least two persons to a quarrel!! May be you shouldn't take it too serious, or even as personal attack, what is generally said in an official forum.

I for me like it to listen to different opinions. May be there can be opened up another way of thinking to me and I may see things which I have ignored or even not recognized ever before. But I also know that my own and personal opinion is NOT an universal thought as well!

May be everyone in that forum should keep this in mind...

endless rain =endless pain..

kind of funny words..  :)  :)

but actually I think,Yoshiki always composed many of his songs with sad/painful lyrics melody except X progressive song..

he lived on hard and painful environment..

violently constructed him to a strong person but with a mello heart..

and It's useless if we only support him without do nothing...

I guess Yoshiki just need more time to take a rest and he'll get new inspiration..

I'm wondering that you're so fixed on that R... i mean "rain" starts with R and Yoshiki hadn't for sure invented the R that it's that similar to the P... LOL
However... of course it's a play on words with rain and pain
but - above all I think that it's a play of words wit 'rain' as symbol for 'tears'.

I mean the REALLY beginning...
Think of the cover of 'Orgasm'. I don't think there's such a huge difference between X and other hair metal bands. They just changed it more and more later...

I think this idea of Kabuki was only because of Genes character.
Of course it's noth THAT similar, but the make up of Gene may be a bit influenced.... guess, I have to listen to their biography again, because they're talking about the make up as well.

VK is a modification of Visual with gothic lolita and other gothic costumes.

@ Visual Kei: eeh... ? Don't know if you can say it especially this way... okay, they're talking about X was the first visual band. Sorry, but I CAN'T imagine that they were influenced from the gothic look
rather those other 80ies Bands were their influence, I think. In the beginning they look really similar to bands like King Kobra, Mötley Crüe, Twisted Sister, Poison and so on... hair metal bands who were popular due this time (okay, King Kobra is 1 year younger than X xP)

In general to Visual Kei I agree with this opinion when I look at bands like Malice Mizer... but not towards X. (I'd anyways like to call X hair metal/sleaze but visual kei... but that's my opinion... and somehow confusing, because VK is of course only the style and not the music... @.@)

P.S. I'm back!! xD Did you miss me? xP

I love to see Yoshiki on guitar performing with the others. But i must admit that i like God Save The Queen sung by Sex Pistols better.

I must laugh when I compared the Sex Pistols version of those songs with the version of Muteki-band... to me it sounds both equal bad! xD;;

However - Muteki-band has had fun on stage and I enjoyed to see them... There were so much guitars...

Huh! I see there are many with the same musical taste here!

My favs besides X: Alice Cooper, D.T.R., KISS, Loudness (the older stuff ;)), Queen, Deep Purple, Joe Satriani, Guns 'N Roses, King Kobra, and things like that.

I'd say this is the connection do the amplifier (the big box with the marshall logo ;) )
Without this cable you couldn't hear any sound of their guitars and bass.

Yoshiki / Yoshiki and Toshi
« on: September 03, 2006, 12:05:39 PM »
Okay... now it makes sense to me why he choose the date of the disbanding of X to bring out "Sex & Religion"... the lyrics are also clearer to me....

However.. .I wondered if it couldn't be, perhaps Taiji, who was meant in "Without you" But I think it was a stupid idea of mine because it isn't difficult to get in contact with him..., Taiji besides is 8 month younger than Yoshiki... but the reason why I thought about this case was, that Taiji and Yoshiki have the same dream of X, too... because I remember an interview of Taiji when he said it would be cool to build up something with his best friend....

okay - may be this thoughts doesn't really fit here, but I just wanted to tell it ^^;

The Last Live / The Drum Break
« on: September 02, 2006, 10:53:20 PM »
I wouldn't call it "fake". Of course it was planned, when the drumbreak will be. It would have been stupid when Yoshiki powers himself out with this act and knowing that he has to drum in the next song.

Month ago I read somewere (don't know were it was anymore) that they made a rough planning of the concert, and things like the piano solo were also planned, but Yoshiki said that he was going to play those songs when he's in the mood for it. That means that there was no real rehearsal before.

But I think one can feel that he can't wait to make the drumbreak when "Dahlia" was over. It doesn't take one second after he played the last beat of "Dahlia" and he started to destroy the drumset. I've often seen him destroying his drumset - but not in this way with so much anger. Seems like he didn*t want to stop it anymore.

it's Taiji, Toshi, Yoshiki, hide...

well that's what i see...really look alike

anyway...mavy from SK? nice to see you here...

Taiji and Hide haven't played together with Yoshiki and Toshi due this time.. It must be the time when Yoshiki's and Toshi's band was Dynamite or Noise and not X - so the other members are unknown to me. Hide and Taiji were the last members who participated with X - and if I'm not wrong Taiji first got known to hide (when he still was member of Yokosuka Saver Tiger) and afterwards to X.
Erm... anyone understand this? @.@;V

And yepp, from SK.. you don't get rid of me! Hi there. ;P
