Important / Re: It seems that Taiji passed away...........
« on: July 17, 2011, 01:03:52 PM »
I don't know what to say other than RIP Taiji you will be missed.

I really liked the gig. I'm only 5'2 though so I had a pretty hard time seeing anything. I wasn't able to get to the venue until about 4 and I really regret not going earlier. The queue was around the corner by that time and the fans around me weren't very talkactive. I got quite annoyed at the group of people in front of me too. Sorry if it's any of you guys but I personally don't see the point in getting drunk before the concert and trying to sneak booze in. When we did get inside one of the security guards realised and began searching people a bit more.

The support band weren't brilliant. I think the band themselves were quite good but the vocalist really grated. I did not like her voice in the slightest. A few people sat down near the end of their set and I joined them as my legs were hurting from all the standing. It didn't help that they were murdering Nine inch nails-closer. I did find it quite amusing that they were being their own roadies for the most part whilst X had a guy who was polishing the piano.

When the concert started the crowd went wild which was quite fun but I did see quite a few people rushing away from the front. They looked quite panicked so I'm guessing they weren't used to gigs. I did think I'd have to move back at one point because I'm asthmatic and it was getting quite hard for me to breathe due to a combo of the heat, being crushed and pushed around. I managed to stay at the front though which was good. I couldn't see much for most of the concert but I had a good view of Yoshiki on his piano at times and a very good view of Sugizo during his violin solo. I do feel the solo went on for too long but like others have said it's probably because Yoshiki needed the time to recover. I did think Yoshiki was going to drop but I'm glad he didn't. I am worried about how much he seems to be pushing himself though.

I'm quite happy they played Drain because there's just something I love about that song. I'm really disappointed they didn't play Tears though as that is the first X song I ever heard and it means a lot to me. I couldn't stay for the encore sadly as I had to catch a train from Euston at 11:30. The train didn't leave until 12:10 in the end because the driver lost the fucking keys or something. So yeah I wasn't pleased about that. The encore sounds amazing from what I've heard though.

I think next time though I'm going to go to the Paris gig if they do one. I'll try for both but I have a feeling the Paris one is going to be better. When I went to the Japan expo a few years back the atmosphere just seemed better to me. The video of X they showed just got such an amazing reaction and the Ra:in crowd were pretty cool. Plus even though my French is pretty poor the queue was more fun because everyone was more friendly.

I do have to say that my highlight of the gig is 'PG fucking tips.' Along with Pata's fabulous facial hair. I think it was a nice touch that Toshi was playing with the flag too. The band looked quite happy from what I could see so I'm hopeful for another gig soon.

I voted for Voiceless screaming I love that song. I doubt we'll get to hear Taiji perform with them again though:(

Still waiting for my magazine to arrive, I ordered it exactly a month ago. It really does seem like anything X is cursed. Here's hoping we get it soon.

Hello Kitty X:D Where can we buy them from? I want them so much. I'd love for the X related guest to be Taiji but it's very unlikely. Maybe they'll anounce the 6th member and that's who they're refering to?

Of course you can ask, but i really shy to write
the answer in public.....coz the meanig of this isn't
very nice.... So if you wanna know, write me a PM~

Haha I'll leave it then because knowing me I'll just go around saying it to everyone and then get killed by someone who actually knows what it means. Thanks anyways.

I love this video makes me laugh everytime. Anyone know where the rest of the show is? Like the part from Vegas to Miami? Or where Yoshiki actually finished in the race?

Right now, the best option is delaying the concert again to coincide it with the UK show.

What UK show? lol.

The rumoured one which is also rumoured to have been cancelled because it got revealed early. Yeah I don't believe that rumour all that much. I doubt there ever was a UK show more like a discussion about one which ended up in a big no. It would be cool if there was a UK show along with the Paris one though. I'm 95% sure the concert will be postponed again now. I just hope it gets changed to April then I'll be able to afford it. I'll cry if it's in May or June though since my final exams will prevent me from being able to go. All in all trying to see X so far has cost me around £500ish counting the July mess up lol

11
I think it's quite likely to be postponed to be honest. I hope it isn't but with the lack of ticket sales in early october like we were promised and no new news what else are we supposed to think? As great as X are they won't sell out the Bercy in a month. I doubt they'll be able to sell even half the tickets not with how unorganised it seems to have been. I dunno if it does get postponed yet again I hope they move it to the Japan expo.

I'm going to cross my fingers and hope the concert hasn't been postponed since the next chance I'll get to check the site will be at college tomorrow and somehow I don't think anyone will be pleased with my reaction if it's confirmed to be true. I'm going to teach them swear words they've never even heard of:)

EDIT: Right I've just looked on the Nous Productions website and I can't find anything about X on there at all. They're not under artists or on the dates for upcoming concerts at all. Here's the website: http://www.nousproductions.com/ My French isn't that good but I couldn't see anything on there. So for now I'm going to completely ignore the rumour and pretend I never heard it.

12
According to the BXTE website there's a rumour going around that the live has been postponed yet again.

http://bringxtoeurope.com/Bring-X-Japan-To-Europe-English-1.html

I'm hoping this is a fake.

13
I doubt the concert will be delayed since there will be a Yoshiki press conference on Nov 24 in Paris

Really? Where'd you read that? On the 24th I'll be back in England at college lol Damn. Ah well hopefully that's true. Gives me more hope for the concert anyway.

14
Haha it better not get delayed now because stupid me booked flights that can't be cancelled:D Serves me right for going with the cheap people. Going to put it down to fate.

15
especially Yoshiki, you know...everything has to be perfect for him,so I guess he is down
or he's angry and swearing around :D

Yeah that's my bet aswell. It would be like the youtube video all over again except worse. I really wish someone would turn round and tell us when the tickets go on sale though. I'm thinking another delay is imminent to be honest. I'm not sure what my feelings about the live are anymore. Since the November gig got mentioned I've gone from ecstatic to not so happy to annoyed to very pissed off and now I'm just neutral with it I guess.

Part of me is thinking that if so much has got delayed and gone wrong already what is the actual concert itself going to be like? I don't doubt X's skills I just doubt everything going to plan and being what it could be. I'm thinking we're going to get a half arsed show not because of X but because of whoever is organising the damn thing. I don't want anything other then 'proper' X if you get what I mean? I know I can't have hide and Taiji back in the band and everything perfect that way but I want what we do have to be as close to perfect as possible. A true X show like so many before us have gotten. I don't know if I'm making much sense but yeah.

16
Blah well I have college all week and it's looking like I'm getting the sack at work. Really starting to consider cancelling my flights etc. If the tickets don't go on sale by next week or are over £100 I'm not going. I love X and everything but after paying to go in July and having that all messed up and now having this gig messed around I'm not sure if it's worth it. I would love to go and see them it's just it doesn't seem well organised at all and it really is starting to seem I've got my hopes up for nothing again. If we just had something definate and not some half-arsed comments from different sources I might be feeling abit more positive but atm there really isn't anything positive for the Paris live. We just know that it's apparently happening but they said that about the July live aswell. I know it wasn't Yoshiki's fault and I'm glad he took time out to make sure he was 100% but you'd have thought they'd do their best to reassure the Europeon fans about the new Paris live. Delaying the tickets was bad enough but it's October now they should say when we can actually purchase them. They did say early October and it's quickly becoming the middle of October. Sorry for being so negative but lack of news and everything else is starting to crush my spirit a bit.

X JAPAN World Tour / Re: How will we recognise each other?

I CAME UP WITH AN IDEA!

Somebody could hold a flag in a location with X-FREAKS on it and then everyone could just gather in one spot, like a meetup.

Oh good idea. We could all then sign it and try to get it to X some how maybe?

My name is Sarah-Anne but most people just call me Sar or Sarah. I don't mind being called Sar but for some reason I like being called Sarah-Anne but not Sarah. I'm weird I know. My nickname is Skittle. My friend decided to call me it because I have a habit of rocking from side to side and not realising it. Although it does help for losing weight lol

Rocknrolla. I liked Lock stock and my boyfriend wanted to go and see it so I got dragged along. It's better than I thought it would be and had pretty man from Sweeney Todd in it for one little scene. I'm planning on going to see The boy in the striped pajamas next but it will probably end up making me cry:(

X JAPAN World Tour / Re: X Japan in Paris: Who's coming? Round 2
« on: September 11, 2008, 04:11:12 PM »
I've been using http://www.tripadvisor.com trip advisor to help find hotels near the venue. It has reviews from people that have stayed at the hotel aswell so it tends to be quite useful. It helped me find a really good hotel for the Japan Expo in July that was literally just down the road. I think booking.com does add some money on aswell but yet again I'm not sure how much.

So anyone have any ideas for a bar or anywhere we could all go to afterwards? Maybe we can tell X about it and if we're lucky they'll turn up. Doubt it though but we can always hope.

X JAPAN World Tour / Re: X Japan in Paris: Who's coming? Round 2

I've been looking at hotels like pratically next door to the Bercy and they're all around £70 a night. It's been going up in price though, when I first looked it was about £58 on average I think. I'm waiting until I have my ticket to book though just incase. We should find out if there's anywhere near by that we could all go though like you've said it would be cool, maybe a bar or something.

It depends on whether I can get a ticket and how much money I have saved. XD And I'll only come to Paris in the morning on 22nd November... because I can't afford to not be at work for more than 2 days. ^^;

Ah awesome, I hope to see you there then:) I'm lucky I had some holiday left just going to make Christmas abit awkward this year since most of my saved money that isn't for uni is going on getting to the concert. Just hoping the tickets don't cost more then £60 since I've promised to buy my friend one.

I'm really getting excited about it now. Just hoping we don't have a repeat of July. I'm more excited this time round I think:S
