yoshiki, get out of the video and on with the damn album.

We get it, you're upset. bitching and moaning isn't going to get the thing out faster.

Anyone else feel hardly interested or sympathetic at all? I mean, yes today is the one year anniversary of the tragedies in Japan, however, this is just another one of Yoshiki's fluff events where he speaks in front of squealing fans with broken Engrish and takes a couple press photo's with peace signs and then vanishes into the night for another month or two. I can't believe I am starting to shut myself off to Yoshiki...but his actions since the "world tours" have been a disgrace. We are now nearly half way through March and there is not a single word of the world tour or the new album.

He's raised millions of dollars for earthquake relief through his foundation, I'd hardly call that fluff.

And it seems like they're going with the same setlist as before. Hope I don't piss off any fangirls/boys but... what a joke. What band plays the same setlist something like 30 times in a row?

Uh, like every band ever that has any sort of production value.

You guys are the ones always complaining that Yoshiki doesn't do enough promoting of X in the states. Well, there's your promotion; people are just finding this show for the first time this week, can't not play some new-ish X.

They definitely re-recorded Toshi, and the bass is a deeper sound in this recording. It is by far the cleanest and best version of the song so far. It's juuuust different enough that you notice.

his voice made me laugh a lot...OMG! I cant believe somebody hired him as a radio host

You're right, he's only the most popular radio host in history. No big deal.

Thankyou very much!! :)

So its the whole song, but only just over 4 minutes, so this is the Buddha mix? Would that mean the 6 minute version with no solo is the full band version? So no solo in any version? Blah! if so.

Also its a bit odd that they used Toshi's highest note in the whole song for the preview all this time, they should've saved that for this full version and used some other part of the song for the preview instead.

Anyway, very awesome song.

This is definitely the Buddha mix, given that it's ripped directly from the movie credits.

Here is a really lousy quality version of the song, probably bootlegged from the credits in the movie theater.

but hey, it's the whole song!

Yoshiki talks about the next song meaning apocalypse and how Japanese doesn't translate easily to English. Female co-anchor pronounces apocalypse in french. Tre bien.

Yoshiki talks about X Japan's beginnings, how they started when they were 14 and did covers of songs, including the next song he plays (song #3) Iron Maiden - Run to the Hills.

Starts with a backstory about how he went to the record story to buy a Beethoven album and ended up buying a Kiss album and how he eventually went to a Kiss concert with his mom and brother.

For everyone excited about the bids getting so high, there is absolutely no chance, NO CHANCE, the $6B bid is legitimate. I expect the winning bid will be <$10M USD.

A couple of weeks ago I was wondering why didn't they play some old songs like the ones in VV and standing sex, I came to the conclusion that the themes and melody in those songs reflected the mentallity of the young X, where all they wanted was to be fast and loud, on the other hand Standing Sex and Orgasm seems to be a matter of maturity in my opinion , being 40+ years old musicians it may feel odd for them to play songs that talk about sexual intercourse (altough Orgasm was played in HK) and has international musicians they might not want to show that wild side anymore.

Maybe this songs are a reflex of X's maturity, they are not that young anymore and they don't think like they did back in the days, this is a new phase in X Japan.

this x1000. Although I would like to see them play their old stuff from time to time if for no other reason than to remember their roots.
