Cogito, ergo sum. (which our phychology/philosophy teacher translated incorrectly...)

Salve!

Pater noster, qui est in caelis, sanctificetur nomen tuum...

Habemus papam!

Loose German translation: Wir sind Papst!

Oh, our latin teacher is the best, she doesn't translate incorrectly, but she makes up her own for the tests, made of mixes of famous quotes. I can't think of one right now, but they're great ;)

I know it by heart (I used to be at a summer camp with russian kids), though I don't know how to spell it :)

Slovak language:

Sme X!

*lol* XDDDD SME is actually even a name of one Slovak newspaper.... and in Slovak you don't need to say WE ARE.. ARE is enough and everybody knows you mean WE. ^^ Otherwise it would be:

MY SME X!

May X be with you!

And you can try some Czech tongue twisters:

"Strč prst skrz krk." which basically means "Push finger through throat." - but the point is that there are no vowels in this sentence. So nothing for Japanese.

or

"Tři tisíce tři sta tři a třicet stříbrných stříkaček stříkalo přes tři tisíce tři sta tři a třicet stříbrných střech." ("3 333 silver fire engines spouted over 3 333 silver roofs.".

Okay, how about this:

People always say that the "Geordie" English accent is hard to understand, and in some cases is like hearing a completely different language. My accent itself isn't Geordie but I live close enough to understand its slang terms, here are a few randomly chose words/phrases  :

"Canny" = A positive term, usually a term of endearment to someone.
"Tuppin" = The act of love making
"Hacky" = dirty
"Well aye", "Wai aye" or "aye" = Yes, affirmative response.
"Gannin" = Going, to go somewhere.
"Alreet" = Are you Alright?/ How are you?
