And quoting BXtE (http://www.bringxtoeurope.com/Bring-X-Japan-To-Europe-X-Japan-Concert-in-Korea-English-1-1-News-101.html):

During the press conference today in the Seoul Plaza Hotel, Korea Yoshiki announced a live in Seoul next year on March 21st at the Gymnastics Stadium of the Olympic Park.

So Yoshiki's in Seuol today. Where is he headed next? I lost track of him after Taiwan :/

kbish mentioned setting up a forum for fans in Australia/the South Pacific region in general.

Anyone got a spare domain we could use to establish a non-ad ridden forum?

good idea with setting up a forum or web for South Pacific fan base.
Not necessarily have to be ad free website, at the beginning I don't mind if we use the freebie one. Later we'll upgrade, just at the meantime, gathering the fans in OZ and NZ is more important.
So who's gonna set this up?

i read from my local x-forum that....the Korean Live would be cancelled and it will be announced soon.....................

So... are the rumours about Heath leaving true? I passed it off as mindless tabloid drivel at first but I'm seeing a LOT of comments from fans about it. This is utterly discouraging.

Also, AGAIN cancelling so close to the date? I hope you guys didn't buy plane tickets...

Nothing about Heath. Korean official site confirms there're problems with his contract, but it doesn't say anywhere that he's leaving.

Don't know what to say about that. Things can go wrong and you may have to cancel a gig or maybe two, and maybe you have to cancel them again, but this really becomes ridiculous. Sucks for the people who planned to go to the gigs.

but problems with his management aren't a reason to quit X now are they?
and if this was serious, there would have been some official message by now (I hope)
>___<

Seems to me like it's important enough to cause the delay/potential cancellation of Korea's and even Tokyo's shows so... yeah, I can't help but be worried.

As much as I love X, the management of this world tour has been, so far, HORRIBLE... disgusting for fans...

According X Japan's official home page, the Korean lives, scheduled for 21st and 22nd March, as well as the ticket sales for the 2nd and 3rd May Tokyo Dome shows, scheduled to start tomorrow, have both been postponed for "various reasons". The Concert Management Committee apologizes to the fans affected and promises news regarding new schedules to be released as soon as they have been decided upon.

They should really think of a way to make it up with us fans and at least release the next DVD box of the 4 boxes that had been announced in 2007.

I think it wouldn´t be so bad if there would be some kind of information for the fans, and not just "for various reasons". They want our money, they can give at least some real communication back for it. As a fan, who has to pay alot for concert tickets, train, hotel, etc. I feel alot ignored and not very valued atm. Without us fans, there would be no X. Maybe they should consider that for a second. Just in case the management hasn´t noticed so far.

I'm beginning to wonder if there is really any communication between the upper management (outside Yoshiki's influence) and the band.  It seems like one part goes one way and the other buries it's head in cement.

Very good point.
The way things are going right now, I've been wondering if it had been better X hadn't reunited. Don't get me wrong. The shows X have done since their comeback were awesome, still all those issues about the world tour remain.
Maybe X should stick to a 2-3 Tokyo Dome live once a year. They could pull of those and everybody would be happy.

I was kind of "smiling" to myself when I read about this...  (don't get me wrong)
as I lost count of how many shows they have postponed and cancelled. We should be happy
that we didn't have the Paris tickets in our hands and then all of a sudden, it's cancelled.
I am really pleased that I experienced the two nights in Hong Kong, it's just like I won a lottery.
When the Pairs shows were postponed, I used to think, well, Yoshiki's health is more important. When
the Bangkok show was postponed, I thought, well, maybe they are right not to go to Bangkok due to
the political situation. Then, when the Taiwan show was postponed, I thought, what the..... , and now, the Korea one.... speechless
Let us keep our fingers crossed and bless ourselves.

Title: Re: Seoul - March 21 and 22, 2009
Post by: Ashemanu on March 15, 2009, 11:28:02 AM
Well, I lost around 100 Euro for train and hotel reservations due to the cancellation of the Paris concert and had to put up a real fight to get the money for the tickets back from the German ticket agency. So I was totally put off with this mess and I will think twice if I will even bother to get tickets again - especially after all the cancellations and postponements that followed Paris. It didn´t help that Yoshiki posted his MySpace-excuse only in French, there were other people in Europe too who would have loved to come (and don´t understand French).

So I really think they should care a bit more about their organisation. Even if I feel totally sorry for Yoshiki, I really think he had done nothing to deserve this mess.

^ Lol, 100 euro isn't that much at all, you were lucky. I ended up spending just over USD $2000 for the NY concert. Sure, I did buy my tickets for the plane and accomodation earlier that was needed...way earlier...didn't even wait for a ticket earlier...but I don't have any regrets, NY was awesome.

But, I can understand how people can be pissed off, considering how many times this tour has been screwed up.

please understand that "The (new) X JAPAN Management" is the one who screwed up the World Tour , not Yoshiki or X JAPAN itself ...

yes, you can blame someone for it (the postponement, etc.), but the one who should be blame is The Management ...

that's what I think :p

Hey hey - I think we should still be careful with any conclusions. In fact, we don't know much what's going on at the moment.
You blame the management, and I have the slight impression that is, because earlier last year, there was that trouble with the management changes, now there's some rumor (!) telling that there's some trouble with a contract (nobody knows what contract exactly is meant) of Heath. But who says whose fault it is? Really, I have no idea who is to blame for what exactly there. We don't even know what's the problem right now.
All we know is, that there's a big mess left.

As for the former postponements. Yeah okay, many people lost money. But that was their own risk - especcially for Paris, since in any way there were no tickets out for sale. Many fans (including myself) nevertheless ordered their train/plane tickets, booked a hotel room, and considereing the fact, that there were already a couple of postponements, everyone should have known that there was a possibility that the concert won't take place. Nevertheless, I don't regret that I had my train tickets already - and that money I lost (wasn't so much, but well, others could live a couple of days for that money) was a risk I knowingly took and for me, that was worth it. I don't regret it.
Now the Korea live was a tad different. It looked like it will really happen. And I feel sorry for both, the band and the fans that that's not the fact now. But what exactly do we know? Nothing - at least not enough to blame anyone for anything.
I'd be happy myself if there'd be at least some clarifying explanation, and I will go on waiting for that. But i think it's wasted energy to raise a fuss for things that happened already.

There are a lot of fans who so wish to see X live - at least once in their life. An to me, it would be worth another try to see a concert. So yeah, i'd do it once again! xD

Exactly Maverick, you're right.  And in those cases where travel plans were already made... go ahead and make the trip.  Have a blast... you catch my drift?

(going on a poker theme here) Just think for a moment... The stakes are high, but I bet there's an Ace in the hole.

It seems to be the same story all the time though.  Management conflict/issues/problems.  Why can't this "management" pull their heads out of their asses and do something right?

So has Korea got another date yet?
