There are some...She Looks To Me by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, for example. The fist time I've heard it I felt like the lyrics were about me.

If I could cry easily (which is a thing I can't do, I have very dry eyes), I'd probably cry to these (and mostly because of personal reasons and nostalgie).

Queen - Show must go on, Too much love will kill you
Bonnie Tyler - Total Eclipse of the Heart
CMX - Minne paha haudattiin
Led Zeppelin - Thank you
LUNA SEA - I For You

And some more. Perhaps they aren't sad, but as I said, they are nostalgic for me and that's the reason why.

So many interesting answers, this is inspiring.

I do not know if I have songs that make me cry, but one would be, Rei of Neon Genesis Evangelion soundtrack.

X Japan Last Live Forever Love does get my eyes moist most times I watch it or listen to it, even if I don't actually cry.

Every once in a while, Nazareth' "Love Hurts" might do that, too. Also upon occasion, the Dieing Aria from La Traviata (forgot what the actual title is). Stuff like that . . .

You are welcome, Dian.

Maverick, thank you for broadening my musical perspectives- I had absolutely no idea what the last two mentioned bands and songs are like and now I know

Ditto to Living On My Own.

Note about drama queen deserves a cookie. (= was amusing)

Well I was listening to Amethyst and I had tears in my eyes at the spot where the announcer at live concerts starts to announce the members...

Tho I rarely cry and I don't think a song has made me cry yet...

I forgot about Queen's "The Show Must Go On" . .  .

Actually, I feel a bit like crying just now, but that's "ureshii namida" - tears of happiness.

Not exactly cry, but I'm little moved by Billy Joel's Honesty, for the lyrics of it.

Are you crying for the sake of the song being beautiful or for some other personal reason while listening to these songs? I haven't really cried because of a certain song but sometimes they can enhance a feeling I already have. Most usually I think music is comforting and make you feel less miserable though.

I'm usually being reminded of something of personal history, in which case songs provide me a chance to stay focused on that piece of history brought up while listening to them.

Some of these can be inspiring or sad.

Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here
Guns N' Roses - November Rain
Van Halen - When Its Love
U2 - Stuck In a Moment
Michael Jackson - Will You Be There
Massive Attack - Unfinished Sympathy
Massive Attack - False Flag

Cruor, you're saving me a lot of work, I'd just hopped in to write something similar to the first five of your post, it's quite calming to see someone liking the same songs.
