I was at the hospital with my mom today.. while she was being admitted and we heard on the news that Comedian Dom DeLuise passed on....

I was poking around on the IMDB website (http://www.imdb.com) and I found a listing for a movie coming out in 2011-

Cowboy Bebop.

We all know there is a anime movie... but... is this one going to be live action?

Who do you think would be good for the cast?

Spike - Jet Li
Faye - Maybe Jolie... has to be someone curvy... and who can kick ass

I've been a fan of this band for quite a while.  Here lately, I've been following the band via their My Space.

Also, I've been keeping up on the lead singer, Michael Sweet and his wife's condition.
Kyle Sweet has been battling cancer for the past couple of years.  Here in the past couple of days.. she's lot her battle.

Please, for those of you who pray, keep the family in your thoughts and prayers.

If you'd like to email Michael and his family personally, I can give you the email through a PM or I can give it to one of the Mods to give out.  Though the email address was in the blog, I don't feel very comfortable posting it here.

I have a hide cd/dvd combo... well it's more of an 'enhanced cd' but it plays in the dvd player.. lol

The dvd has the making of Rocket Dive and Pink Spider... and I think the video for Ever Free... but what is the song played during the credits?

I'm not sure how many of you know who Paul Newman is, but he was in quite a few http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000056/.

He was in quite a few "Western" (as in old west, cowboys and such) and plenty of older movies.  His most recent work was as Doc Hudson in the movie "Cars".

I know we have a thread to rate the song, and a thread for movies... and movie quotes.  So.. I think I'll see how this game goes.

In Name the song, you post lyrics to a song and see if someone can name the song and the artist who released it.  Then.. once one person guesses, then they take over and post.  Just like with the other games.

Are there any here who read Mercedes Lackey?

I've read quite a few of her books, I own most of the Valdemar series from... Brightly Burning (The story of Lavan Firestorm) to By the Sword.

So far, my favorite books from the series are the Exile books.  Another favorite of mine is Jinx High.
