"Amethyst" Lyrics?

I've been wondering this for quite some time now.

Does anyone know if Yoshiki wrote "Amethyst" for anyone in particular?  

Here are the lyrics:

As with quite a few of his songs, I think it may have been for his father.

I don't think it's for his father because he wouldn't say "every time I see you I'm falling in love" to him! :lol:

And yes, it is SUCH a beautiful song! :D

I don't know... I think I read somewhere that it was hide who suggested to Yoshiki to use Amethyst
as an introduction to their live concerts when he first heard it being played by Yoshiki.

I believe it was written for a woman he was involved with before.
I think PN knows something...

hidetards strikes back. It looks like everything Yoshiki does is/was/will be for hide.
Amethyst was composed in 1993. hide wasn't dead yet for Yoshiki to use it to make drama.

he just loves someone for such long time...and I believe it's not for hide,coz hide never felt that huge love for him.except music chemistry and hired man...

The song was written in 1993, why would it be for hide...? LOL. He had girlfriends, and according to his autobio that he met a young singer in 1993. https://www.wattpad.com/58438434-yoshiki-autobiography/page/137 Although it might not be for her, since the album came out earlier than he met this woman, it could have been for a previous lover. I know some find it hard to imagine him dating women, considering his feminine looks back then, but not all of his friggin life was revolving around hide, folks  ;)
