General chat / Favourite interlude?

I wasn't entirely sure how to articulate this, heh.

In all of X's songs, what's your favourite instrumental solo/interlude/etc? I refer to things like Yoshiki's infamous AoL piano solo XD

For me it's the rousing guitar-led instrumental in the middle of Forever Love. The dramatic melody combined with the steady underlying piano just stirs my soul for some reason. It's so emotional and heartfelt, then softly disperses back into Toshi accomponied by piano. Epic.

I've listed my unopened copy of the I. V. photobook on eBay at a significantly reduced price.

Its 60 pages contain gorgeous glossy photos as well as interviews, timelines, discographies and more. There's plenty of images from the shooting of the I. V. pv as well.

Yoshiki / Repo... limited release?

So I was hunting around on the Internets and I came across various people saying that Repo! is only going to be a limited release (read= it's only going to be in a few cinemas in New York). At first I thought it was just generic misinformation, but then I read that people were signing an online petition to get the movie released worldwide. (And as we all know, online petitions are about as effective as doing nothing in the first place.)

I do hope this isn't true as I'm in Australia -_-;

Of course we'd love our X even if they were hobos, but sometimes it's fun to look at photos of them where they look less than perfect for a change. Lord knows they can't always be wearing layers of make-up!

I wasn't sure Yoshiki was physically capable of growing facial hair, but there you go.

What's the name of the song in the solo they played footage of him performing on the 30.03.2008 concert? The one after "Weekend", just before he started singing "Doubt".

I'm just trying to make out what's being whispered before the piano bit in "Rusty Nail". It sounds kinda like "I can't die, I can't live, I can't die to set me free... I can't die, I can't live, I can't live to set me free..."

Merchandise / A cute thing I noticed about my Yoshiki necklace

n00b here.

Did anyone else buy the Yoshiki jewelry they had at the March concerts?

I just noticed that the Ring of Silence piece I purchased has the date of the concert inscribed on it. Made me feel all warm and fuzzy and nostalgic ^^; (It only has "Yoshiki" inscribed on it on the official jewelry site... maybe the concert ones were special editions o.o)
