I had access just before it was downed: I could hear a little of his 2 new songs on it that he made just recently :)
And i have read in twitter that Pata and Sugizo are doing the guitar in his 2 new songs.

The new songs are awesome, especially 'Samurai', Toshi's raspy voice is sounding a bit more like the VV days in that song imo.

The album is a limited edition with only 2000 releases with 4 songs. It can only be (pre)ordered from the website starting 17.00 February 9th (so today). And it looks like only Japanese residents can order it.

But all in Japanese and the translater don't work on that website.

Just a summary and no real translation but that's the content:
They apologize that the website yesterday was temporarily not available due to all the fans who wanted to preorder the CD. But Toshi is very happy about all the support from his fans.
Those who managed to sign up will get there CD until Feb 24
And there is still a chance to order the CD from now on until Feb 15th 23:59
On Feb 11th around 11a.m. Toshi mobile website will open and it will be also possible to order the CD from there which will be delivered until March 8th
The CD will also be sold at the concert on Feb 24th
but further news about the ticket sale will follow soon.
And Toshi is happy about all his fans and wishing them all the best.

The Website does look cool. Is he now ToshI rather than Toshi? That should mean Masaya does not have any rights to any music written/performed and profits obtained from performances under that name?
It is a shame the CDs are not available outside of Japan!

I'm afraid all the stuff that is sold there is indeed for Japanese residents only :(
So we gotta wait for eBay...? :P
And mobile, i think is also for Japan only. Well, I'm never connecting to the internet with my cell phone - so others who do so could have a try but i think it only makes sense for Japan...
As for the name, I personally think it's nonsense to change his name like that. And Masaya doesn't have any rights on his CD's that he's publishing from now on anyway - no matter whether he calls himself TOSHI or ToshI. (Actually I thought it's just a way to trick on MIXI so that it's not the same name as he had before LOL) Maybe it's just Toshi's way to display a new beginning.... reminded me a little to 'hide'...

Ah, ok! I thought that maybe Masaya had rights to anything (past and present) performed under the TOSHI name so that was why he changed it!
Fingers crossed for eBay and the CDs!

We'll I don't have really a clue about copyright in such a case. But as I understood it, Masaya was only allowed to keep the websites and sell the healing CDs because Toshi had a contract with Healing World - and even now Toshi-Official website is gone anyway even though Masaya claimed that the contract is still valid for half a year. But basically that contract should apply to those works, Toshi and Masaya released under the Healing World label (besides it was Masaya who wrote and produced it, of course he is the owner of the copyright then)
If he would have rights for everying, I think that would have been a nightmare for X and the fans. And IMO that situation with Toshi alone was dangerous anyway.

As far as I can understand, the song Amaoto seems to be dedicated to some people he cherished. For example, there are "(To you) please shines [be bright] at any time / Please always keep me company / Please be my light / Please be my everything / Please bring [make] me smile..." - reminds me of the English lyrics of I'll Be Your Love :D
