There is an article that apparently says X will perform ALL of Art of Life in Shanghai. Can anyone who reads Chinese confirm this?

It says "they will perform Art of Life in Shanghai, and this will be the first time the song performed fully abroad"...
Let's wait and see...

Oh my god this is awesome! This is some of the FIRST official footage I've seen of the North American tour! I love how L.A and New York have like 10-15 second clips but everywhere else, like Toronto (where I went) has like 4-5 seconds haha.

Also, that is really weird about the Beijing show. I don't know much about it other than there has been a notice of cancellation and I don't even know for what reason. I'm very surprised Yoshiki has not said on Twitter that it is on or off. It wouldn't take THIS long for him to get in touch with his agents.

probably the same thing as with paris years ago. Yoshiki wants to do it, whoever else doesn't want to and yoshiki won't let anyone officially cancel it until he eventually gives up after all......? >_<

I'll be in the next chapter...

X JAPAN’S BEIJING CONCERT CANCELLED

It is with great regret that X Japan announces the cancellation of the band’s November 2 date in Beijing.
Chinese officials had issued a permit and were supportive.
The cancellation is due to a last-minute decision by the promoters that included technical and production issues.

The members of X Japan are devastated by not being able to play Beijing.

The band hopes to reschedule a show in Beijing in the near future.

All other shows on X Japan’s South East Asia tour itinerary will be performed as scheduled:
October 28 – Seoul, Olympic Park Gymnastics Stadium
October 30 – Shanghai, Shanghai Grand Stage
November 4 – Hong Kong, Asia World Expo
November 6 – Taipei, Nangang Exhibition Hall
November 8 – Bangkok, Impact Arena

but it´s the Beijing - show, not a really unexpected and uncommon behavier of the chinese government, by my opinion
so let´s hope, that the show in Bangkok can take place (keep fingers crossed)

^But it says in the twitter post: "Chinese officials had issued a permit and were supportive." So what makes you think it is the government stopping the show?

^But it says in the twitter post: "Chinese officials had issued a permit and were supportive." So what makes you think it is the government stopping the show?

yes, of course, they would like to play there, so they can´t announce there are proplems with the officals, if you say that you can stay away for ever, and btw. it´s China, a dictatoship of proletariat, a socialist country after all, I don´t think that the promoter are independent and doing their own stuff without being influence or watched by the government, so lets hope for the people in China and the fans aboard that someday somehow somebody of the leading functionary get in mind, that it is a really good idea to have an X.Japan show in China

maybe I´m wrong, but the show was announced that long ago, and no tickets were on sale and 8 day before the concert they realize, that there are technical problems, sounds very common to me, I was growing up in socialist country too, that´s why those thoughts came to my mind

Wow thanks for all of this info, Raf! I wonder when those interviews are from? Too bad more wasn't in English. Also, do you have a friend on the inside who is giving you their flight and travel information? Could you try and find out what their plans are for 2012, specifically North American tour again? I talked to an agent from WME and he said they hope to have X Japan back in North America early 2012, do you know anything?
