Think about how most rock music is written. Lead guitar solos are not what is laid out. I have often wondered about guitar solos and ownership for years from many bands, and tend to believe that solos are from the players heart and feeling for the song, and yet they originate from the basic music. So, I believe most good guitar players create their own solos, and they even sound different from the same guitarist at different times, hence not written when the song is developed.

hide / hide's maxi single Hi-Ho/GOOD BYE

I have two copies of hide's single, Hi-Ho/GOOD BYE, and have a question about a difference in the two disc. Both cds are exact in every way, from the covers, Obi strips, all numbers.  But one came with a colored circular insert on the cd and a slightly smaller one came as an insert. Both are similar to the cover art.  The second cd did not come with the circular colored insert, and the cd is orange; and the cd has a positive etching of the circular colored insert/cd cover art identical to the first cd.  The colored insert in the first cd is too small to be placed on the cd, as was my my guess. So it looks like two different pressings. Can any one help with this. Both came form Japan, and look to be originals. They sound identical too.

http://I know this is an old post, and I just happen to stumble upon this site (think it is great) while tying to find out why "Pink Cloud Assembly' has 18 minutes of down time in it. No one seem to mention DOD.  I wish someone could have got hide not to drink so much. But, I have been listening to rock long enough to have seen the death of too many talented people by drugs/alcohol over the last 40 years. Love hide's music!

I have the cd from Japan, not a bootleg, and it is also goes quiet at 2:18, but has a few electro noises between there and the end.
