So when I saw that I had a new MySpace comment from VIOLET UK, I spazzed. XD Until I realized that it was a profile tracker message (you know, the kind where it says something along the lines of "Click here to see who's been watching your profile").

Which could mean either of these things:

Theory #1 (highly unlikely, but it would be cool if this one is right XD): Violet UK (probably even Yoshiki-sama himself, since I'm pretty sure he runs the Violet UK Myspace) is actually trying to help fans keep track of who has been viewing their profiles. XD
Theory #2 (much more likely, unfortunately, especially since it already happened to Yoshiki-sama's personal MySpace): The Violet UK MySpace was hacked! O_O

Did anyone else get those profile tracker message thingies from Violet UK? And if Violet UK's MySpace was hacked, is there anything we could do to help? o.o

The same and same for Lights. Could be done more cleverly, hackers announcing themselves so publicly are f-stupid.
Did anyone of you inform Yoshiki or Violet UK Street Team yet?

'll save you from yourself. Fly...

I sent a few messages to various people about it. Just so you all know though, "hacked" is not the term to be used. The profile wasnt hacked, it was "phished", either through a fake myspace page or cookie-stealing

Myspace isn't very well built to prevent messing with it.  My friend and I figured out that it doesn't resize images if it would warp them so we made fake accounts with 1 x 30,000 pixel images and joined the we love squirrels group to mess it up.

: Would you jump off a bridge just because everyone else was doing it?
A: Yes, because the pile of bodies would break my fall.

I didn't think so either. o.o We all know how busy Yoshiki-sama is. He wouldn't have time to send comments like that even if he wanted to. ^^"

I'm really looking forward to hearing that announcement he was supposed to make at the end of last month, by the way. ^^

That is what I thought, so it would be cookie-stealing. All someone has to do is setup a myspace page that can steal cookies from the person viewing the page. The cookies are encrypted so you cant just open it and see the password, however if the person obtained one of the cookies, he could just replace his own with the stolen one and he's logged into the account. I'm assuming that is what happened.

Yes.. I got this comment too.
At first I was like, wow, a comment from Yoshiki, that's pretty sweet.
And then I noticed that it was an effing profile tracker.

grrr
