For anyone who has 3/4 of an hour who wants a little more insight into Yoshiki the man, and a little less the legend, this is a good mini-documentary. Sadly, it isn't subbed, and there is that kitch factor at the beginning and end, and the resolution is for suck, but the general essence is wonderful. The resolution gets a little better as the video progresses and I found it well worth the watch even with 90% of it in Japanese. It was nice to hear that I am not the only one who considers the man a genius.  ;) Personally, I loved hearing the symphonic orchestrations of X songs throughout, as well as some Violet UK and Anniversary. And if they played 'Journey' because he likes them? Well then, even if I had hated him, hearing that would have softened my heart. Steve Perry is my all time favourite vocalist.  ;D Wonder if that was the sound Yoshiki was trying to coax out of Toshi all these years. lol.

Watch and enjoy my fellow X-philes.  ;D

I've actually watched that a few times.  I know at one point the interviewer asks questions about hide... some that were.. way, WAY insensitive. (something about how Yoshiki felt seeing hide's body in the casket)

It does show you a very intense and sensitive side to Yoshiki.

I would love just to give him a warm hug.

I got all the translation of this documentary in English. Somebody has translated it already since 2005, but never found anyone put in the clip. I can put all the translation here if somebody want to read it.

I watched it the other night.  I got the gist but I wouldn't mind a translation if you would be kind enough.

It's so painful to watch when he's asked about hide.  That long pause kills me.  I really feel his pain.  Oh, hide, what did you do?  And, why?

Ooo~ This. Haven't watched this for looong time! My friend sent it to me when it was 'new'.
I'm quite sure I had somekind of translations somewhere, 'cause I didn't understand as much back then.
Hmm.
Anyways, thanks for reminding of this. I really liked this one, and had almost forgotten by now. : )

The translation is quite long, becoz he/she translated almost all the documentary. I don't have Acrobat Professional so I can't make PDF file. I hope my DOC file can work well to everyone.

Arigato Gozaimasu!!! It was wonderful to gain some insight into the imp as well as the serious artist. Thanks purplexpride.  ;D

Really small translation corrections:

The actor who visits is: Robert Davi. He was in Die Hard, not Heart

I believe it is the Beverly Mountain Village, not Bebali (It is in the 90210 zip code of Beverly Hills) And it is Grand Havana House of Cigars, not Ground Banana.  ;)

Again, this was wonderful.  ;D

If anyone still has this, it would be great if you could put the translation here into the forum!
