My mom always said, if you think you love someone to the point of not seeing a single flaw in them, then you're not in love with them, you're obsessed with them. Ever since, I make it a point to tell my SO that despite her being amazing in all ways, she still has terrible morning breath.
Hope you don't tell her every single morning! But wow, that's very wise, what your mom said there,so true.
The performance didn't do much for me, but at least they keep on coming together every once in a while.
On Heath or Pata not participating in interviews or Heath looking uncomfortable on stage, just going through the motions: Playing music for a living isn't always fun. I think when you're in a band that isn't very productive anymore (and doesn't develop songs/arrangements together in rehearsal anymore), it becomes more of a routine(like in normal jobs), and you don't always have a say in which gigs to do.
On the other hand, when you're a musician, you wanna be successful and able to make a living, so you better think twice leaving a successful retro act for a new project, probably leading to a 95% salary cut. Fake-performing new material you hate on a tv show for a few hundred bucks per day sure as hell beats being at the office from 9 to 5 for a few hundred bucks a month! But I totally get how it 's an ambiguous experience.
