So I found a video of the New Year countdown Niconico broadcast by X on Youtube (Not sure if I'm allowed to share but here it is: ) And Toshi is in a wheelchair? I was wondering if anyone here knows what is going on?

I had no idea about this. I really hope he's not seriously injured.  :(

Well they seem happy and all so I guess it's not something to worry about.

Pata seems well too :) (but he's speaking so maybe he's not that well ;D)

On the end of 2015 Japan Tour he left Nagoya in a wheelchair also. You can even see on WOWOW broadcast that on the last songs he needs a cane to finish the concert.

Two years in a row like this, I hope there's nothing wrong with him.

Poor thing. If I remember right, I *think* that I saw him rocking a cane or wheelchair around the time of the Ishinomaki live. Either ToshI said or a fan translator said that messed up his knee after falling off the stage during rehearsals or bumping into to something really hard.

I remember him on a cane now that you mention it...

But maybe it's a "better safe than sorry" kind of reaction?

For instance, Japanese (and in Asia in general I think?) always wear mask when they're ill or something.
I know in this case it's not about propagation of any virus or else but it might be a way of doing the minimum to heal faster or something?

Don't know... I think something really happened.

He is already limping when enters the stage, then on Rusty Nail he suddenly falls and someone runs to bring him the cane.

Maybe he really fell off the stage and still feel some pain from it.

After the jump at the end of the concert you can see him leaving the stage with his hands on his back, as if it was hurting. Maybe it's just some general bone disease, afterall they're getting old. I wouldn't say it's serious tho, he seems fine in the latest short performances so maybe he just gets tired after a long time standing.

In general I could also see how lately not just him but the whole band kind of seems to be lacking in energy and motivation.

hi there

Agreed. Exactly what I was thinking.

In Japan it's because you will not make someone else ill. If you are ill and you have to stay at home you have to use your own holidays (dont know the english word for "Urlaubstage").
So everyone in japan take really care of each other.
