Watched the WOWOW broadcast, and I never thought this boring setlist would make an awesome concert like it was.

They were really powerful, their interaction with the audience was nice (I lol'd at the jokes about the album delay). Beneath the Skin and Sugizo playing Life on Mars were the highlights for me.

The concert was awesome, I had a blast! To the girl who recognised me from the forum, thank you for saying hi! I'm sorry I didn't talk more to you but we were a little confused about whether the concert was finished or not... ^^"

X Japan were AMAZING! I'm so glad we got to hear Art of Life, however my favourite bit of the concert was when Yoshiki talked about X's indie era and everyone sang Endless Rain.  ;D  I almost cried haha

Magucathy, very glad to finally meet you in person. It was such a great show.
And I cried like a 14 year old girl the whole first quarter :D

Ha! That's the reason you didn't head bang in the beginning because you were busy crying.  LOL

Just got back home.
I had an amazing time at the concert. My neck still hurts from all the headbanging! I'm so glad I went through the trouble to get there.
Lets hope they come back to perform in London with some awesome new songs from the ¨new¨ album.

Was a really good concert. I'm not the biggest fan of some of the new songs, but when you are at the concert and experience them there (+ the stage show) I enjoyed them. Of course for me it would have been even better if they'd have played more old songs, but I'm not gonna complain. I had a lot of fun and it was the best X Japan concert I have visited. The ones in 2011 have their special place, because it were the first ones I saw, but if I had to compare them, which ones delivered more ... it would be the one in wembley.

Showing the movie before the concert was a nice idea and the transition from the movie directly to the concert was well done *thumbs up*. The merchandise wasn't that great, so I didn't buy anything.

Hello,

Just registered with the forum. Been to Wembley on Saturday - first X-show ever - and to say it was epic is too small a word!

I have been talking to some other fans there who were aware of the wowow broadcast and wanted to see this, too, to re-live the beauty of the event.

jpopsuki seems to be the only place where this is available at present, any chance someone can set up a download link or provide an invite for jpopsuki?

Would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Nicely written review, thanks! Says pretty much what I thought, too. While I criticize  when needed, I can't really find anything remotely negative to say of the whole event.
Some positive surprises though, their interactions with the audience was great, despite the size of the venue, it almost made for an intimate feeling at times.
And the banter between Yoshiki and Toshi was priceless, funny and heartwarming.

Plus, I thought Toshi's vocals were better than ever, he was in great form right until the end.

As for the blu ray on amazon, it says running time 95 minutes, I thought the film was a little longer? Wasn't the Wembley version roughly 90 minutes long?

I haven't seen the theatre version yet, so can't say.

Then again, amazon are not always accurate with things like that.

Yes! me too!!

BTW, did you notice the guy sat next to me?  I think he's kind of weird. He didn't clap his hands once, he didn't stand up nor make any noise, only sitting there and made some photos or videos with his small camera.

I wanted to ask you since some time but kept on forgetting, is your avatar Arashi Kishu in CLAMP's X?

No I didn't notice him. But the two girls in front of me behaved very quiet, too. Weird. I did not go there to quietly watch everything, yknow?

My avatar is Sunako Nakahara from "Perfect Girl".
