it seems like yoshiki is starting a new project called Lady's X
well most articles were in Japanese and I didn't understand anything and I'll be grateful if anyone can translate the summary...
but well there's an official site for the project too!
http://ladys-x.net/
well yeah....
this guy is erratic...seriously...a girl band?all of a sudden?!! :-X :-X :-X
"A producer of many big name artists, Yoshiki will be starting a new Visual-kei movement!"
well you can check the website for more info...and we can discuss about it later here...

p.s: umm...tbh I'm shocked....doing this when everyone is waiting for the album and it hasn't finished yet!well he said they're finishing the last touch when he was in beat film festival....but he's been saying this since...when?!ok I'm done...

This literally is a fucking disgrace and a major, major disrespect towards his fans. Yoshiki, if you can read this, wake the fuck up you moron. Start giving back to the people who PUT you in the position of fame that you are currently in. Stop lying, stop delaying, stop being a fucking sellout.

Yoshiki, whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy?! Do you even have time for this bullshit? Besides, isn't visual kei more or less dead in the Japanese scene?

It's one thing not to give news on pretty much anything for months/years but it's another when you finally decide to do something and it's THAT kind of stuff, feels like a stab in the back of X's fans who's been waiting for years for something X related and only get delay, cancellation, postponement, 90%finishedalbumsince2011 and then Lady X, yeah no thank you Yosh.

I agree with kuro.yoru "erratic" is the perfect term for Yoshiki now.

Annnnnnnnnnnd I'm done. It's been real. Glad I saw these guys in 2010. Literally lost all interest in the album at this point.

GNR literally reunited before we got info on this supposed album

Peace

It amuses me in a weird way. I mean, c'mon, after Madame Tussaud's and now a new girl group(they're casting till 31.12.2016, so we won't hear them so soon), what are you supposed to feel? Now that I left the disappointment behind me, I can enjoy the madness. But I wonder if Yoshiki is really mentally healthy.
And, BTW: I WANNA SEE THE FUCKIN' MOVIE!!! Why make a movie, when you don't make it accessible for anyone?

I am not really sure what to say about Lady's X...but I also really want to see the movie! Hopefully it will be available digitally in the very near future and then perhaps a physical release in Japan?

First of all, it seems there are news.

Quote
First Audition Term:
~2016/12/31

and second:

Quote

m(
In my opinion a so called "movement" is nothing what you can start by planning it. Its just happening. Maybe it's a Yoshikis midlife crisis and he doesn't want to be an old man, what he actually is. All of the Botox can't cover that the time is not a friend of aging rock stars.

But what annoys me most is the following line:

Quote
1. Age: Must be older than 12.

I mean, maybe its ok in japan, but in the western world we prefer an age of at least 16 for business. And in my opinion, that's also really young. Maybe it's also because I'm a father of two...

Quote
Experience: Does not matter.
(...)
Although the place of residence does not matter, we are looking for members that can travel all around Japan while having a base in Tokyo.
Must be able to sign an exclusive agreement as a member of Lady`s X

Ok. A group of girls, most of them are pupils, travelling around japan. I thought they were in the age of went to school, but maybe I'm wrong.
But I'm really bewildered while I'm reading the homepage.

Hopefully I can make my point understandable. What do you think?

Oh that's right Yoshiki's doing that too...

I don't have a very fixed opinion on that project yet, I'll wait to see what will come out of it, if something is eventually (I'm looking at you S.K.I.N).

Here's yet another video, where you can hear some of the potential singers.

Some of these girls are really talented. I don't know where this project might lead to. I just hope that the careers of this talented little girls will not end abruptly, because Yoshiki decides he has no interest in that project anymore... ^^°

While I'm away, read this line again...

Has Yoshiki actually addressed his motivation for doing this? It says to start a visual movement but then why is it just X 2.0 with vaginas?

We are not trying to keep the legacy—we are trying to move forward, so our sound is going to change. I’m ready to be criticized, for example by fans saying "you should rather be this style." I’m ready for it, I’m okay with any concept of criticism-Yoshiki

God, I don't even know how to respond to that returner. Like I wanna post a dumb laugh GIF because your statement is kinda true, but a part of me is kinda cringing because I can imagine it being the case. (Also, I have a huge reaction image folder & I can't find one appropriate enough to get this feeling across)

I just read about this yesterday. I have a big WTF on my face right now.
Sometimes I wonder if Yoshiki is sane or if his neck stuff kind of messes with his brain sometimes. One day he does an aweome thing, the next he's George Lucasing his own self.

Woah, I can haz admin colour.

Yoshiki has never been sane since age 10. Had he been, there would have been no X Japan. So stop complaining about his sanity. :)

Haha, Kurenai, your response was apt enough I enjoyed it ;D hehe

And yeah, nb, I was thinking that too... How can a movement be manufactured? From a record company? And when it's something that's being redone?

Just not a very good idea imo.

You may have seen this videos.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qyRzBO_MEm4

A girl playing the drums of "Kurenai"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YC4XZ2aSoOk

She plays the drums of "Silent Jealousy". You can see more videos on her YouTube channel.

When I first saw the clips, I thought she was a teenager. But wikipedia said that she was born in 1992 and released her mini album already. (https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E3%82%80%E3%82%89%E3%81%9F%E3%81%9F%E3%82%80)

I was surprised.

At the end of last year, I found that the drummer had auditioned for Lady's X and passed it. Here is the twitter she wrote about the audition.

https://twitter.com/tamu_murata_dr/status/880767076708659201

(translation)

"Today I was auditioning for lady's X. I played "Kurenai" in front of Yoshiki! I'm very grateful to him for his arrangement of the audition while he is very busy! Meeting Yoshiki was a dream since when I was a highschool student. The dream came true today. I am happy that I have kept my dreams until now."

I'm curious how Lady's X project is going on.  8)
