It's just been announced that ToshI will release a new album containing 8 tracks and a new single at the end of this month! It will be made worldwide via iTunes and a couple of other online distributors as well as a pre order for physical release. ToshI to Release New Records Worldwide!

It has just been revealed that X JAPAN's TOSHI will release new materials for his solo work! As announced earlier about ToshI's "Worldwide Project", now his official website has been updated with upcoming releases...yes, we mean RELEASES for THIS MONTH!

New full album titled "CHERRY BLOSSOM" and new single "Love Is Maria" will be released at the same time globally on March 27th. While both will be released via digital stores such as iTunes, Amazon, etc in 111 countries, pre-orders for CDs will be opened on the same day at official website before to be released actually on April 16th. The album will contain 8 songs including the title track "CHERRY BLOSSOM", and the single will have 2 songs in total with the track "Love Is Maria" and its karaoke version.

Two spots for songs "CHERRY BLOSSOM" and "Love Is Maria" are now available as well at official YouTube Channel, so please check it out.

Oh God, the only words I noticed first were 'NEW album.... cherry... single', so I didn't even realize it wasn't about X Japan, lol
Well, way to go, Toshi. At least we can see some progress..

haha The first thing in both videos - "Toshl"....seriously? The I looks like a lowercase L. Weird.

And huzzah, I'm glad at least Toshi's working on music. Unlike, you know, the other guy. I actually really like the second one a lot! I normally am not crazy about Toshi's solo work but this shows some promise! Will definitely look into this.

I'm looking forward to it solely because there is a studio version of Say I Love You on there. I think that is one of his best songs from this era!

Glad he's at least doing something. It's a shame though that Toshi's convinced himself into this whole "my vocals are going so with "the time I have left" I'm going to sing nothing but healing 'beautiful' songs now (he's assuming there's only one interpretation of what something 'beautiful' is). It's really paranoid and silly and a waste of what I think is the best rock voice of all time, I'm just hoping this way of thinking doesn't extend to X-Japan as well, though at this point there's almost no reason to give a shit about that.

But yeah great to see he's staying active in someway.

Hello! Thank you for all the support and I hope everyone is doing well. The cherry blossoms have bloomed earlier this year in Japan and they are as beautiful as ever. Are there any places near you where cherry blossoms grow? I'd love to visit if there are any places like that, so please do let me know. Don't forget to check out my new CD "CHERRY BLOSSOMS" as well! I love to travel and would love to visit soon.

Tea time with my cherry blossom tea set is as beautiful as seeing the real thing....

Hmmm...it's been released on iTunes in Japan but hasn't shown up here in NZ yet...anyone can see it on their own country's iTunes store?

"CHERRY BLOSSOM" has ranked in at #5,
"Love is MARIA" at #6, "Umi no youni" at #23,
"Sayonara no akushu" at #46, and
"Itumademo dokomademo" at #66
on AMAZON's JPOP best seller rankings (as of March 29th).

2 songs have made it onto the top 10, and
5 have made it onto the top 100!

I've just heard that my songs are climbing
the charts for digital downloads. I am truly amazed at the results.
