"Miyaviuta ~dokusou~ (雅-みやびうた-歌~独奏~)" Is the full name, I guess I can't put asian characters to the topic name :D

So, I just got the album and I love it :D

I ordered it from http://www.play-asia.com . It cost me only $30. And I decided to share it with you :)

I scanned the booklet and stuff and uploaded them :) :

I hear you.. my scanner is crappy too.. the only thing that is nice to scan is black and white stuff. For the color it just looks shit. It got a little better when I turned the resolution up, because then when you make it smaller again after you scanned it, it will look like a nice picture.

But good job on this hehe, buying CD's rocks. Nothing beats having a real CD instead of mp3's

Not everybody can afford it to buy every cd she/he likes. I love owning the original CD as well, tho.

However, the album is GREAT, love it! I can't listen to his old stuff because it just sounds plain boring to me, in Miyaviuta and Pops on the other side he has his best moments, thanks to his crazy skills on the acoustic guitar

Oh, and I DON'T own the CD, but I DO have fabulous scans of the booklet :P

RIP

I don't know all his stuff but "Are you ready to ROCK" is awesome and I like Joushou Gaidou from Galyuu...he's hot in that PV!  8)
As much as I experienced his stuff is pretty chaotic. But I love to collect pic's of him 'cause I think he's somehow the most photogenic jrocker of all (at least when it comes to cool poses - especially when you need inspirations for self made drawings) And I just can't help it but in some pic's he reminds me of a friend of me and YES, I mean a female friend ;)

I've said in the past, I'm not a fan of Miyavi's heavy stuff with the exception of a couple of songs but I love his acoustic stuff. I just downloaded the PV for his newest single and I think its excellent. Its extremely catchy and some of the girls in the video are hot :P

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-O1y394_iNM

A link to the PV incase anyone wants to see/hear it. Miyavi is much better on acoustic guitar than he is on electric.

I do like this song. Even though it seems a little "gangsta" :P Did anyone else think so?

He experiments with so many different styles, it's hard to pick which I like best... but this song was good. :D

Lady, lady are you ready to go?
Why do you have to be laying down?

Its a nice mix of styles, you could probably find a bit of "gangsta" in there  :P

I was wondering about that too... I don't know.. It looks cool though.. but it's really weird to see someone who tattooes his artist name on his cheeck lolz...
Probably it's drawn on, because you see the other members with painted and with the name drawn on their cheeks also..  :?

Imai of Buck-tick has something drawn on his cheek, too...soo...
With miyavi, it's not a tattoo! There are pictures from J-Rock-Revolution where he doesn't have it ^^
I was worried about that earlier, too...

ah okay, thanks. It is a bit strange that anyone would do that.. I might right my name in fancy letters on my cheek and see what happens :P

A lot of people are starting to like miyavi now because of his acoustic stuff. As I've said many times, I only like a few of his heavier songs but I really like his acoustic stuff. :D

Imai has B-T on his cheek and it looks pretty cool  :P  (AND, sometimes, the B-T miraculously changes into BiTch, hehe).

I think it's funny, people who disliked his old stuff become fans, and some fans of the old stuff want the old MYV back. Good for us, sucks for them  8)

Oh, and the song is sweet, the scratching is one nice idea (reminds me of Are You Ready To Rock?).

RIP

So I'm gonne put it in this thread, so I don't have to open a new one and all the Miyavi Stuff can be in one Thread:

On January 16th, Miyavi released a new single called Hi no Hikari sae Todokanai Kono Basho de and it features Sugizo as a guest guitarist. Here you can find the PV:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TrByQTtRoYY

the more music I hear from him, the more I like him, and reading on wikipedia (but doesn't have to be true) that he may come to Germany next year I will try to see him live.
My only concern is the amount of fangirls that will be at the concert, but life isn't easy.

I dunno how I will afford it, but I'm thinking about going to his gig in Sweden on the 1st of July, and then X on 5th. That would rock so hard

Do it, I will also go (well at least I want to) to his gig in munich at the end of June, and then a week later to X *g*

XD He had some concert, no idea where, but it was pretty cool and then I was a special guest and we had some duet, which was originally a song writen by me and we did some fun stuff on stage... x_x And when I woke up, I wrote down the chorus... >.>

Just watched one performance of Due le Quartz's farewell tour, again, and it's really touching and I like that song a lot.

Just wondering if anybody was going to see Miyavi in concert in London next week or have seen him play recently?!?

I'm going down, I don't really know a lot of his stuff or what to expect but am really looking forward to checking him out live based on his prolific reputation...

So yesterday was the concert and what should I say? It was a really cool gig. During the first fiveteen minutes I wasn't so sure about it, it was more like, 'yeah, good show, but not that great', but the longer it took the better it became. He's really a hell of an entertainer and during the second half of the concert there were more 'harder rocksongs' which I prefer. All in all it was great to see him live, the audience was as expected, means a lot of girls but also some men (more than I expected *g*). The only thing that sucked was, that it was so freakin hot in the club, that wasn't funny anymore, so I decided to stay in the rear section where you could at least get some fresh air from time to time.
