Didn't find a thread about that topic and I don't really want to create a new one for every movie I've seen  ;)

So a few days ago I saw Zombieland and it's a pretty cool and funny zombie-movie (pretty obvious if you read the title of the film). So I can recommend it to everyone who loves zombies, gore and a little joke here and there.

It has one of the coolest opening-sequences btw:

I think I saw the King's Speech, it was about King George VI who stammered, how he managed to hold speeches and so on. First I thought that the idea was pretty lame and thought that I wouldn't go see it. Buuuut then I checked the list of actors. :D Helena Bonham Carter, Geoffrey Rush AND Timothy Spall! I adore the first two and I had to see "Wormtail" as Churchill. :'D

Then... well I fell in love with the movie. I think it's one of the best movies I've seen. Check it out if you can!

Last movie I saw at the cinema was Thor, it was good, not OMG AMAZING like some people'd been expecting but it was really fun, and got most of the important comic book facts right, of course it was completly innaccurate to norse myth but so was the comic  :p

dunno how to imbed the trailer so: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JOddp-nlNvQ

Now Thor's out of the way the next Marvel movie is Captain America! :D:D:D

Do you hear the people sing?

Watched it yesterday and I think it's pretty cool. Not one of the best movies ever made that's for sure. But the visuals are great and the story is also descent.

Pirates of the Caribbean 4 :D It was a lot of fun to watch, but I think it was a much more serious movie, even though it still had the comedy of the other three. Dunno, maybe that's just me. xD

Pirates of the Caribbean 4, which I really liked, even if it was much darker than the other ones. Johnny was hilarious as always ... and also loved Barbossa ^^

Pirates of the Carribean 4 in 3D. Great movie and very funny especially with the 3D effects. I found myself trying to look around a giant root when they were walking through the mangrove jungle XD

Home Alone - I was very surprised how my viewpoint changed as i (re-)watched this classic

As a child I never realized that this is a movie about family. I just thought that it was a funny movie with a child, who is keeping his house save. But in reality there was so much more.  :o I never saw the relationships between these characters or how much the mother suffered, because she forgot her precious son at home. And that the movie actually has a message and tells us to be more thoughtful about the things we do or say to other family members.

While I'm away, read this line again...
