Somehow, this thread title reminds me a little of "YOSHIKI and TOSHI at Japan Expo" :P
Seem like Yoshiki found out that Cons are a good way to promote the band's oversea activities. Well done! xD Now they should release that album already......!

...When the morning begins
I'll be in the next chapter...

"The Members Of X Japan - Yoshiki, Toshi (vocals), Pata (guitarist), Heath (bass), and Sugizo (guitar) - Have Been Spending Time in Yoshiki's Los Angeles recording studio working on What will be the band's U.S. debut, and ITS first album sung en español. "We decided to record English lyrics for four or five of our most popular, previously released songs," Yoshiki explained, "and then write an additional four or five brand new songs, also sung in English. We have worked very hard on this album, and are very excited to present our music to the American rock fans." "We Decided to record Español lyrics for four or five of Our most popular, previously released songs," Yoshiki Explained, "And then write an additional four or five brand new songs, sung También en español. We Have Worked very hard on this album , and are very excited to present our music to the American rock fans."

Was very excited, but then I just realised one of the two new songs apart from 'Born To Be Free' is most probably going to be 'Without You', gah! XD.

Seriously, if 'Without You' is one of the new songs on the album then imo drama emotional crying X-Japan is going to far, I.V Jade and Without You are basically ballads, Born to Be Free and whatever the other new song is had better not be. How would 'Without You' be recieved well in the U.S exactly? Most people there hate over emotional music. And as I stated in a previous thread you really have to make a connection with the audience over a certain period of time until they really like you before you can play a song like 'Without You' and not have people saying "this is a bit much".

Are you sure there are going to be Spanish versions? That translation literally contains carbon copied text from Yoshiki's statements about the English album but with "en español" at the end.

I'm dubious.

Those espanõl lines at the end look a bit random, god I don't want to think about that.

The fact that I am a Copy of so many that I admire, makes me feel unique.

I think the article's legit, maybe them saying there'll be spanish versions was a mistake, but even if its true, the amount of new and old songs on the album will be the same for the english album.

And on this link I can't find anything about the spanish-thing:

http://www.otakon.com/guests_xj.asp

The amount of old and new songs on the new CD is possibly correct, as the information about 4 new songs were circulating a long time ago, but the recording of songs in spanish is bullshit imho. No offense to you, cause you were just posting a link.

The section of the article I quoted is in that link, at the bottom of the page, but it mentions nothing about espaniol/spanish, it says five new english songs and rerecorded songs in english. I copied that quote from a user on xradicaldreamers, so either the translation of the xradicaldreamers page was messed up or the guy on xradicaldreamers who quoted from the article got confused and put espaniol thinking there woud be spanish versions or something, its a bit confusing, but yeah, there's definatly no spanish versions being made.

Or maybe he was just joking around. :P

Well, a new album with english songs isn't really news... I'm more curious when it will come out eventually!

Yep, that's right.

And I also think it was a translation error.

Everything's a fucking joke ...

I'm excited, hopefully they'll give us a hint regarding the album release date. Surely if they're gonna put it out in the fall they will have a ball-park date floating around of when they're gonna do it.

It's practically August now, so we're talking one or two months time.

I know it's not exactly a full album of fresh material, and we've probably heard every single song off it already (apart from the one which it's hinted Sugizo has written), which is most unusual - but I've never experienced an X Japan album launch. It's weird to think Dahlia was all the way back in 1996, I was 6 years old when some of the most recent back-catalog of this band that I idolise was released.

Considering we've now learnt three of the pv's will be released on mobiles tomorrow, its pretty obvious they're going to show them off at otokon tomorrow as well, that's what I'd expect anyway.

lol WTF!?! Apparently this is the room that Yoshiki&Sugizo are playing in

That's practically a friggin concert hall, I thought this was an ordinary con event with small rooms where a few hundred people would stand and watch, especially since its just Yoshiki & Sugizo.

According to what he says below the picture in the link, nothing is set up yet, and he only posted that three hours ago, guess it makes sense, its only 10:AM in japan right now.
