For anyone who has 3/4 of an hour who wants a little more insight into Yoshiki the man, and a little less the legend, this is a good mini-documentary. Sadly, it isn't subbed, and there is that kitch factor at the beginning and end, and the resolution is for suck, but the general essence is wonderful. The resolution gets a little better as the video progresses and I found it well worth the watch even with 90% of it in Japanese. It was nice to hear that I am not the only one who considers the man a genius.
Personally, I loved hearing the symphonic orchestrations of X songs throughout, as well as some Violet UK and Anniversary. And if they played 'Journey' because he likes them? Well then, even if I had hated him, hearing that would have softened my heart. Steve Perry is my all time favourite vocalist.
Wonder if that was the sound Yoshiki was trying to coax out of Toshi all these years. lol.
Watch and enjoy my fellow X-philes.
