I guess the Zenith in Paris should we perfect with a size for about 5000-7000 people. I think Miyavi and L'arc~en~ciel already played there... (I bet that's a reason for X to choose a bigger venue xP Sometimes they seem to forget that they haven't even released a CD or anything here yet!!! >_<;;; )

I also agree they should choose a smallish venue. It really would be a major set-back if they played to a half empty venue, it could even mean the end of the world tour. If they choose a smaller venue and the demand outweighs the capacity then if necessary they could change the venue or they could add an extra date, but it is more difficult (for the ego as well) to downsize rather than upgrade!!

I think they also should do a European publicity drive! Which would help boost their profile!

X love their awkward climates don't they? Play Asia at the hottest and humid part of the year, and play Europe when you're absolutely freezing. I'll never forget how cold it was in Paris, November last year. October might be a little better, but they've scheduled it whilst i'm in Hong Kong, so sowwie X, not going to make the trip this year!

With the amount of pretentious melodramic crap that somehow wriggles out of Yoshiki's mouth occasionally, it wouldn't be much of a surprise. Seriously, there is only so many times I can watch Yoshiki pretend to 'die' on the drums. Make concerts theatrical, but does everything have to be acted out like a Korean TV Drama? Hopefully we won't be treated to another load of BS about management disorganisation, etc. I hope Europe finally gets an X Japan performance, it's just ashame that the whole tour has been full of disapointment, empty promises, and "recorded" lead guitar. hide will always be part of the band, it's history, it's formation and composition, but the idea of a live performance is that the music is actually live and not a rehash of years gone by.

Hopefully now that Sugizo is an actual member of the band, We may actually get to hear some dynamics in the guitar. However now that postponements are being handed out like free school book tokens, it wouldn't surprise me if it gets held back. I'll only be half satisfied when the tickets actually go on sale.

hmm,in that case maybe I am the only one who feel optimist about France concert xD
though I can see that after so many excuses and postponements,I don't blame that many people more precautious then laying their hopes up,I think it's better that way,well just in case maybe indeed there will be postponement,I mean I am not Yoshiki or any other X JAPAN member,I don't know the way their thinking *shrugs*

Like i said, I really hope I can go, but I don't see it as a certainty anymore. It kind of depends on my parents at this point.

Yeah... I'm also hoping it doesn't happen on October 10th - I don't think I can afford it now.

I'm kinda thinking it won't happen. One is because there's nothing more 'official' about it.
And there's just little talk about it overall Tongue

Yeah I agree with Reila. ^^;

Ha, and I wonder if by now they made a contract with Yoshiki, to cancel preparations for every concert that he's announcing too early without being supposed to. *cough*

Haha....I always thought they get canceled simply because he gets too excited and announces things before anything has actually been confirmed...^^;;;;

Frankly, I also don't think it will happen at that date but I hope it WILL eventually happen...TT__TT

Gah, I need so much convincing before actually thinking of going this time. I don't want to be fooled one more time, that just pisses me off.

Its good news that at least something seems to be happening. Will wait to see what information we get on 3rd August!! Like others have said, it is still a long way from being reality!! I wonder if we might also get an update on the best of album on the 3rd?? Probably too much to ask for!!

If the Paris live does go ahead, I really want to go, but I don’t know if I will be able to - due to stupid money/work issues!! Ah well, will see what is announced on the 3rd, and then will see what I can do from there!!

Dito. I am even thinking of going by car ... just to be completely independent of trains and hotels in the worst case. Very optimistic, I know ^^

HO SHIT

I really missed some things this week! Well, good to know it before the 3rd of August then!
(It will be a monday, damn. Well, I can check the news in the evening for half an hour...)

Hmm, it's July. So it would be realistic to have the ticket sale before the end of the summer.
This COULD work, people.
I just hope they won't be as slow as we know X. (about coming to Europe, that is.)

Damn, I was kind of hoping it would be postponed again since there are some issues at my place... XDD But it will be fiXed before november, I'm pretty sure about that.

So......... fingers crossed, I guess?
